Which part of the game does he say that? The only curse word I ever recall Dingodile saying is bastard. And bugger, but don't think that's really classed as a curse word. I've watched playthroughs of this game and don't remember him saying bollocks once.
I really really hope they either add a big DLC storyline for this game so we get more crash, or they hurry up and make another one. Difficulty aside, the only thing I wish was different is I wish there were alot more levels to play with. With the rumour that spyro is 2021, I hope we don't have to wait like 3 years for more crash
Great video mate! Having recently beaten all the developer times, I understand the hate for the time trials lmao. I personally enjoyed them in a weird sadistic sort of way and actually prefer the triple spin over the crash dash, but I totally get why you and many other people didn't like them. Keep up the great work!
@@ZEECRAZYGEE Fair enough. It took me almost a month to get through the dev relics and as satisfying as it was to have beaten them, it was a very painful ride, so definitely steer clear if you think you won't enjoy it

I’m only 106% the game once, then on other multiple playthroughs of Crash 4, I’m just going for gems, N. sanely Perfect Relics, and most of all...having good old fashioned fun with Crash, Coco and all his friends on this amazing time-travel adventure! It’s the most fun experience I’ve ever had in a long time!!
I love this game! Great review man! The only things I hope they improve are the animal-riding sections, and the time trials - mostly providing a running power up, like Crash 3. I intend to play 106% just once, since the platinum time relics are tough. The N Sanely Relics and Gem collecting are loads of fun to do in this game! The levels are very unique and fun in their own way! Thank you for this review on a wonderful new Crash Bandicoot game!!
I'm 3 perfect relics away from 102%! Love this game. Disagree that the perfect relics aren't fun, I've had a blast perfecting them. Not going for the time trials though. They made a huge mistake removing the run button.
I agree with a whole lot of what you're saying. Playing through Crash 4 casually is great, for the most part. Lots of fun to be had! But 106% completion is bogus; time trials were butchered and requiring Platinum Relics is just bad design, and Perfect Relics were a mistake that should never have been implemented. It really holds back an otherwise great game.
Great review! I 100% agree with everything, can' t say much.. BUT. I need to say this (mostly to save the sanity of people going for 106%): you do not need to get all 6 gems to get a nsanely perfect relic! You "just" need to break all the boxes without dying!

in all honesty I only have 80% on this game right now. I got gold relics on all the time trial levels, all the plain gems, and only some of the n verted gems. god is this game gonna take forever to complete!! lol
I can understand why some people say that this is the best in the series, but the frustrating 106% completion really takes a good chunk of the game for me, plus i really hate the extra padding with the n verted mode, you have to beat sometimes 4 times the same level (minimum). Warped easy difficult and vehicle levels dont feel like an inconvenient for me to have more fun. PD: And i thik that the best in the series is CTR. Crash Team Racing was revolutionary, and still plays perfect.

Honestly, i dont like at all Crash 4, mostly because of the high artificial difficult and the story. Even the developers knows that the story is bad and put a joke in the credits. Crash 3>Crash 1>Crash 4>Crash 2 Some people would say: "How you can put Crash 1 and 3 over 2 and 4!!!!" Crash 1 and 3 has less sh.. backtracking and secrets than 4 and 2, thats why.
This game got me so hyped and could have been the best game in the franchise, but fell short. So many wasted opportunities for more Crash bosses like Tiny and Papu Papu, the purple gem was scrapped and the N Sanely Perfect Relics serve as an unnecessary difficulty spike. I'm never getting hyped for any game again.
It doesn’t make sense how dingodile is retired if he was only in crash three before it. That was a short crime life. And nbrio is working for cortex after crash 2? What?

I don't like that the colourful gems are hidden instead of earned after a harder level like in previous games. 3. All the above I think that ruin the "fun". It's good to not play a challenging game, but there is a line between fun and through the gamepad out of the window...
Well, colored gems were hidden in Crash 2, or obtained by doing something "weird": Blue gem: finish a certain level without breaking boxes (exactly like in Crash 4) Red gem: find a secret entrance to a level Green gem: at the end of a hidden path behind a fake wall Yellow gem: beat a certain level within a time limit Purple gem: in a path accessible via jumping on a staircase of fake Nitro boxes I think this game tried to emulate these kind of secrets, but I don't think they are as creative and well "signaled" to the player as in Crash 2.
Actually with the N.Sanely perfect relics; you only need five gems in each stage without dying, the hidden gems aren't necessarily required. As for the triple spin; I honestly see it as a better powerup then the dash from Crash 3, time trials only ever required you to hold down a shoulder button whilst dealing with platforming challenges around you, this time they require more thought put into these, making it so that you can strategize when to triple spin and when not to, in other words; now fans need to use their brains when time trialing.
Crash 4 isn't a continuation of OG trilogy, can people stop saying that. It happens in another universe with a different timeline Also, why didn't you say which "new" platforming came from which game. Like Kapuna Wa from CMOM, rope swing from Titans etc.
People hate the art style of this game and Tawna's new design for the same stupid, petty reason why they hate Crash Of The Titans: Because it's different "and therefore ruined". Ugh. Those entitled, elitist OG fanboys just cannot and will not see the forest through the trees.
Yeah that seems about right, probably gonna get this in a week or so since i don't think getting this at full price is worth it. "100+ levels" MY. FUCKING. ASS! Wouldn't call THIS of all games the best in the series tho, Titans has a better story and writing since they weren't pussies and playing it safe, (i'm amazed with how many jokes they got away with) Twinsanity has a more journey feel to it (plus its fucking O to the S to the T) and Crash 2...being Crash 2...yeah this new one ain't the best by a long shot. Not when 70-80% of the game is more padded than the whole of Mutant when it comes to 100%. Never in my life have i seen such tedious completion requirement, (probably because i mostly play good games...i don't think even in Assassin's Creed or any Rockstar Game i had this big of a boredom and frustration completing them) were they insane? Who thought bringing back the death gems were a good idea? Who tf thought playing the levels a minimum of 5 times to fully complete it was a good idea? (Assuming you're a pro, which you aren't so double that number and then triple it for the relic and quadruple it for the no death perfect run and even add a few more if you manage to not miss any totally fair crate placements with hints as to where they are :)))))))))))))))))) ) At least Warped had the decensy of making the gold relics required for 100% completion...BUT THIS!
I agree with you in some aspects ESPECIALLY THE STORY! I think Titans really nailed the story, but when I watched the cutscenes of this game on youtube I was like, ok wtf is this
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time sucks because it's not as good as Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. In other words, the power moves from Warped didn't make a return in Crash 4. The only power move from Warped that made a return in Crash 4 was the double jump and the double jump is now a natural ability instead of a power move that you receive from beating an in-game boss. The power moves from Warped that didn't make a return in It's About Time are the super-charged body slam, the fruit bazooka, the speed shoes and the death tornado. Plus, It's About Time is lacking the crystals from Crash 2 and 3. The Crash Bandicoot franchise belongs in the PS1 era.
TBH i prefer crash 1 and 2 over 3 Cuz 3 was too easy , the only thing I agree with you on is the dash ability i prefer it over the triple spin, but other abilities i don't really care about them and neither the crystals , so in my opinion , crash 4 is the best crash game by far and one of the best platform games too
@@saifmbappe5544 crash 3 is my least favorite of the og trilogy too. It's too easy and half of the levels are vehicle segments, a lot of which aren't very fun to replay. The Crash platforming levels are damn good though.
