I yell a lot as a mom. I cried on Wednesday and apologized to my daughter cause I yelled at her so much. Her story and how she avoided home because of her mom’s yelling etc etc. really hit home. I need to do better as a mommy. I will do better as a mom.
You are not alone mama. I am the same way. The first step is admitting its a problem. Now we just have to work on it. It will take time, habits are hard to break, but we can do it!
I love Lynwood I been watching her for a few years now and I got so much respect for her ! She’s come a long ways. Haters could never make me hate her. Nobody’s perfect but she’s worked on herself and she’s coming up for her kids 💙 so happy to see her getting more recognition and opportunities
Man Negra I cried with you … that interview was 🔥…I never knew Lynnwoods story…I have watched her on TikTok, shes so funny and she’s been through it…her story was crazy…one strong woman… thank you for interviewing her…. I got to witness a whole other side of her. God bless both of you beautiful women.
Same down to every restaurant she and her kids slept at. I remember my mom couldn’t hustle the money for our motel room so we slept at winchles waiting for someone who said they’d bring her some money , it was always jack Mac Donald’s subway. Crazy how much I could relate. I thank God everyday I was able to make it out and do better for my children
I love watching Lynn! I remember when I first seen her she was crying because her kids were taken from her but she kept pushing to get her kids back and she did it. She never gave up and every day she kept pushing regardless of her struggles. So proud of your accomplishments Lynn!!
Definitely had me tearing… as a daughter of an addict the anger she speaks of is so real. We can only try to keep pushing through our pain as kids with an open heart hoping our loved ones change… this one was so touching. She’s a fighter💖

22:00 I cried when she quoted her son. I wish services were offered to her from the get go. That could’ve helped avoid further trauma. She reminds me of myself in the sense of being resilient and having a sense of emotional intelligence. My glass is always half full. In sobriety now 22 yrs and I will never go back. I wish she and the kids seek and receive on going therapy individually otherwise with all the toxic situation there is a huge chance they’ve learned co dependency behavior and the cycle can continue. Salute to all the parents who love their kids and never give up. Every day is an opportunity.
I was crying all the way , I love Lynwood … now I love her more and respect her so much …. SHE MADE IT GUYS 🎉…. God bless you and your beautiful familia …. Todo con dios , nada sin el …❤❤❤❤ thank you so much negra for the great podcast
