Thanks Doug. You made things crystal clear. And you created just the tutorial Thrive Themes should have had on its site. They ought to hire you as a guest expert. Nice job.
@@Convology btw i know you have the new course but I thin there are only 2 advanced lessons teaching fancy design stuff or am I mistaken? After the advanced lessons.
@@NoobFriendlyAI My Thrive Architect Ultimate Essentials course is geared toward beginners and early intermediate users. I have a couple of simpler "advanced" lessons pertaining to tips and tricks. If you're completely comfortable with all elements and creating pages in TAR, then it's definitely not for you. I'm thinking that I'll reserve special "advanced" tutorials for "workshops" and have those included in the Convology Pro membership or sold for $29-$49 as small trainings... or added as videos here on the channel. Probably a mix of all options there.
I wish i saw thisvideo earlier... I made everything in Thrive Themes thinking i can edit the text later and now i have to do my 3 days work again in thrive architect.
Excellent tutorial.. Thank you. I was wonder if you can talk about things that are linked such as header / footer / top etc. For instance I can have a single template called template a, and I have 3 pages that are using template a, on each page I have unlinked the top section and added a new graphic, and what I am seeing for each of those 3 pages, it it using the top graphic of the last changde to that template. So if I wanted a page using this template a to have a rubber ball graphic i the top section, I would unlink the existing graphic and save it in the library and select the rubber ball image from library. Then I would save, etc and it works fine, except all of the pages which use that template now have a runner ball top graphic. then whats point of link and unlink, Thanks - Jeff

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Nice explanation, makes it much simple understanding.,
Thank you again ,.
Thanks Doug. You read my mind on the "pitfalls" I run into. Thanks for the solutions!
Thanks MDH! I'm noticing a lot of patterns where people are running into issues. Figured that's a great place to start with some videos.
Great video Doug. Awesome analogy:)
Thanks Andrew! I was hoping the analogy made some sense. It was so visual in my brain and made sense. Glad it translated to video.
