Thanks again for your faithfulness not only to help feeding America but to us as viewers. You all are a big part of my daily activites wishing I was still a kid learning how to farm with my grandpa. Being disabled with MS and wheelchair bound gives me something to look forward to evey day. If it's a new video great, if I go back to watch a couple of older ones thats great to. Miss Tami, thank you for raising a great family along with Brian and Happy Mothers Day this Sunday. God bless you all and thank you for all you guys do.
Thank you Bruce!
Praying for you to get rain Cole. So great to see the queen of Sonne Farms, Miss Ellie, being so happy to see you guys.
Your farm is always so neat and clean. I like your equipment is put away clean. There is never clutter laying around instead of putting it away or in the garbage barrel....may God bless you with good moisture and temps during this coming planting season.
Thanks!
Cole and BRIAN I always ENJOY WATCHING your WONDERFUL VIDEO you BOTH are so FUNNY I REALLY LOVE DADDY and son working together GOD KEEP on BLESSING you BOTH
I always appreciate your kind words!
Humble and Kind is a great song. We played it at my dad's funeral, was a fitting tribute.
Funny how those little ones can find a way out but can't get back in never fails.
Cole, when you started pulling on that cord, I remember clearly how long it took you to start the previous pressure washer. Tore this cord right off in repressed frustration! Saw the Instagram, you have had some good rain, Hallelujah!
Thank you for talking so much about the cookie stroopwafer i order from amazon and received today oh my goodness they are delicious i will keep ordering so i can share with Grandchildren and grown children .Cole Im 79 but never enjoyed watching
you and Dad but im really a big time city girl but i never miss one of your tapes keep up the good work you so smartmart
Praying for some good rains for you all.. Keep up the great work and video's. Bless you all
Like always best dang farm videos on RUclips
There's the cutie pie, hi Ms. Ellie! Bryan made a great choice for the song of the day. Humble and Kind, hands down the best song Tim McGraw has recorded. I hope you all get lots of rain, no flooding though or damaging systems. Another great video, thanks for sharing, have a fantastic remainder of the week.
Continued prayers for rain. Please fix mom's equipment - it's almost Mother's Day. 💐
I live in Missouri and I now find myself checking the weather in your area 😂 keep up the great content love the channel!
Prayers for rain are always appreciated 👍
@@sandy_sd10 absolutely!!
I think they got the good rain. Praying so.
Awesome! Thank you!
Stephen Clayton I live in Australia n I do the same thing. LOL! We've far too much rain with history making floods n if I could catch it n ship it to everyone that needs it up there I would. 😁🙏💙🦘
When I was a little boy our neighbors, the Swinards, had what today would be a very small dairy and maple syrup farm . The each had 1950s gray Ford tractors and two draft horses, Tom and Jerry. With this they ran their operation. I think they would be amazed by the size of your tractors.
Dad is telling it very humble and kind.
At 2:00 the 9230....THAT'S a tractor and a puppy! Thanks for sharing!
That's some nice editing right there. 🎶 Humble and Kind 🎶. Great video 😊👍
Cole, you absolutely crack me up….talking to the driveshaft on the tractor, asking if it was ok. Reminds me of the way to speak to your animalsl! love it!
Good video Cole, Brian, Mama Sonne, and Ellie.
Cole, it's obvious you spend some time finding new camera angles and interesting processes to film. I just wanted to specifically say thanks for your thoughtful creativity. It's one of my favorite parts about this channel.
Brain is another favorite thing about this channel. I love his SONG OF THE DAY choices! Me and Brian are the same age, and I used to be a DJ (in what seems like another lifetime) That's all I got to say about that. Both you and Brain are always good for a good laugh.
Speaking of laughs... did you know Laughter is actually the SECOND BEST medicine??? True. The first best medicine is.... well.... actual medicine. I mean: DUH. LOL
Thanks so much Matt!!

I'm REALLY glad that you folks are seeing rain in the future. Its been raining here every other day but we are managing to get some ground chiseled. Its going to be a bit of a late spring here but we will survive. BTW... I asked our seed rep if our seed will give us the " biggly yields" that Cole spoke of. He explained that since we are in a different zone, our seed is guaranteed a " bunchly yield". Of course, we need to be careful about the " deepliness" of our tillage so we don't " overcompacktiate" the soil. Sorry if im talking too
" technicalfied", but I hit my head on the support beam of the Landoll and I still can't remember my birthday yet.
nicely done
Sometimes I feel overcompacktiated, but you know I can't explain, it's personal ;o)
@@brendat7346 I know EXACTLY how you feel Brenda. When I was younger and I was overcompactiated, mom always made me drink prune juice
@@alexturner8104 hahaha! Whatever works, right?
Wonderful!
Brian when I was still farming back in the 70,s I was very fond of the moody blues Tuesday afternoon.
excellent
Praying you get rain. Know you sorely need it. We're planting and showers are raining us out daily. We'll take it!
Brian you a very humble man , hope you guys get the rain.
Hey Cole! The very first thing that popped into my mind when you said "Front Drive Shaft Damaged" (about 13:25) was: "Them dang Racoons back again???" But nothing popped out, or fell out like last time.
So do 'coons mess up wiring like mice and rats? Maybe next time you should just start the machine and see what parts fall out. I guess putting up signs in "Racoonise" might not work - cuz most of them don't know how to read.
Good luck with the rain, and if you get any extra there's a farmer or 7,000 that could use some out here in Kalifornia. Thanks comrad... er, Cole. Nice show today.
Pray you actually got all the rains you n everyone in your area nedded Sonne Frames! We've way too much of it n if I could bottle n ship it from here I would. 😁🙏💙🐨
Colt did a big boo boo. I hope you guys get the rain you need you better get on your mama's good side and fix her machine LOL your mom is a pretty lady your dad is a great man you're a great son Miss Ellie just good old doggy
Hello so dry there and so wet here nice pick of day song. You have a great day.
I love seeing Mrs. Sonne!! I bet she has put up with so much shenanigans over the years. I raised a house of boys/men too, I think she deserves a blue ribbon heh heh.
Boys are funner than girls anyway, just my opinion. Having Ms. Ellie makes it seem like she won't be outnumbered so much.
Anyway, I love, love, all the chores happenings, big and small. Doing all the things you need to, getting ready for rain, it's almost like a holiday.
I am 62 years old and we are still raising a 40 year old and a 38 year old college graduate daughters. Drama drama drama. :) I think boys would be much easier. :)
@@beckyumphrey2626 I'll be 60 on Halloween (fun birthday for sure) This year I'll probably scare people the most with my wrinkly skin and grey hair. My two boys are 38 and 35 never went to college. The oldest works for a big electric company and the youngest works for the railroad. Before that they both had a banking job. I'm pretty sure they like the outdoor jobs, it suits them. Good luck with your youngsters, it isn't easy these days but they will find their way.
Look out 👀 here comes 200,000 subscribers!!!!!🍾🍻🎉🎈🎖 🏆🏅 CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Stay safe!!! Best wishes from Kentucky!!!😎

You know that's nice Brian you don't have to do a big give away! Just a nice thank you! That's all thats needed! You guys work hard enough without having to worry about giving tbings away! If you feel obligated to give something away then the guy that ordered the t shirt! Give him a hat to. Make it easy! That's all I have to say about that!
That starter rope on that Honda engine is real easy to replace. Three bolts hold the starter reel with the rope in it. Buy 4' of starter rope. Remove the old broken rope. Reattach the pull handle to the new rope, knotting the rope to the handle. So that the rope wont slip out. Rotate the reel to get spring tension. So that the rope will suck rotate into the reel assembly. Then Install the 4' of new rope on the reel and handle after knotting the rope to the reel center. Then reattach the reel to the engine with the three bolts.
Still hoping for that rain. We have way too much here in Erie Pa. Thanks till the next one.
Hope the sun comes out for ya!
GREAT song of the day... sure wish more of the world would live according to its message. We got hit hard with snow and rain the past couple of days so I hope this coming storm really pays off with good, deep soaking rains for you all!
What a great family listening to Brian sharing gratitude sure love watching your channel and especially the time with you guys thanks for sharing and look forward to next
Great video Cole I hope you get the rain you’ve been telling us about 🤞👌
Hi Brian it was Good to Ride With You and Cole!!
Love you all.
It’s obvious that you do not know your own strength. Another piece of equipment for Brian to trade up. Thanks for sharing this insightful video. Sure hope that rain came through for you folks. The front edge has been here in Ohio for the last 4 daze; our front yard is looking like a swamp sans gators.
Wishing you and your family a blessed week and a gentle spring season. Peace Cole
Cole has the tractors nice and Clean
Thanks Guys , It is Great to see and hear more of Brian . Thanks for all Your hard work . God bless Your family's.
Our pleasure!
I thoroughly enjoy everything you teach us about farming and cattle. Thank you so much.
Love Chicago grandma
thanks Cathy
Luke Bryan's "Buy Dirt" is a recent country song with a good message you would enjoy Brian.
As usual, enjoyed keeping current with what's happening on the farm.
Apparently when Mom told you to put some muscle into it when trying to start that little engine, she didn't know you were strong enough to lift a calf over the fence.
Take it easy there, Hercules !
Cole apparently your mom isn't as interested in buying & trading in machinery as your dad. My husband couldn't start his weed eater yesterday or this am. He had the dealer tune it & winterize it for $70.00. He just got it back Sat & ran it to trim along our yard fence for an hour Monday. Hubby went back to them this am and bought a new Stil battery run weed eater. He figures he doesn't have enough muscle to start the gas weed eater anymore. All they'd give him was $15.00 for the 1 they just turned up. When I asked if it cost $200. My husband told me I didn't want to know. I asked $500 & he said more. If I had a 2x4 handy, he'd be dead or unconscious for days. Your mom should have had you load her old mower in a truck bed & she should have gone and bought herself an electric start , self propelled, 24" or 26" cut width. John Deer has some great mowers like that. A semi- retired gift, or Mother's Day present to herself. Tami you deserve a new piece of equipment too. Happy Mother's - it is May 4th here in NY, we have rain out here you can have too.🌹🌹🌹💐🌼🌸🌷💪
Cole definitely had his Weetbix that morning. 😂
Boy!! you guys are hustling to beat the rain♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️We are all praying for you as we know you need it. We are on day six here in Iowa with constant rain day and night. It’s been beautiful rain at that… I hope you guys can get some 😊of this kind too!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ too bad about that cord breaking!! That is such a hassle to fix!!!!
Great video as always! Loved Brian's rock as compared to older country story comparison, I agree completely. The story of a song means more than the pop element of what a lot of music became. You guys are bustin butt to get what needs to be done before the rain and it just speaks a lot to what smaller framers have had to do that used to be normal before large operations took most things over. You guys prove the quality is still there, great to see!
That was great, "Put Some Strenght In It" Mom Cried, Kaboom, says Cole, don't even know his own strength!!! lol
You guys are an inspiration.
If your offset seems wrong check to make sure your implement is running level. If the cylinders get out of phase one side will dig deeper pulling the implement off to one side.
I didn't realize how big the 9230 was until that shot of Cole standing next to it.
I would have thought the tractor would look smaller next to me ;)
The hawks told me it was more like a weasel. That's a nice looking seed drill. I hope you get everything in and on the ground in time before the rain. You don't want Manitoba portions or course. I'm glad you rescued that clave. Your song for friday can be Willy Nelson's Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. Crying for happy of course. Good video. Pax.
Always nice to see gone and the yard is a little clearer ?
Re: overlap you may need to go back and verify the basic simple things, like measuring the actual swath of the machine (it may not be what you were told), then verify that the antenna and hitch points are actually in the center of the swath. Hill sides do not appear to be an issue for you, still make sure the implement is not swaying to one side or the other.
Brian, you saved a whole crop by pulling that weed! 🙂
really great video and watch out cole those halks are fast and viscous
Brooks & Dunn Believe 👍👍 that song tells a great story
Man I miss the midwest farmlife working the fields with big 4x4 tractors. Never used the drive assist though. One day mike came charging across the field. Wanted to know who set the gps on that tractor... I told him I'm not using it. All he said was "My God that's a straight line, keep it up mr Buckshot." I was real proud of myself 🤣
👍👍'sup...👀..thanks again fella's, Ms Ellie.
Your are a good man on staying true to country music.
Hello from wayland ny. You guys do a great job. My favorite is the 9230. Enjoy watching the big green iron in action.
Thank you for all the Ellie content. I learn so much from you guys, I’m so amazed at these machines and what they can do. You look just like your mom, she’s adorable.
Very good video!
Thanks for the visit
I hope you get your rain Friday we have got the rain that you was supposed to get last week. Congrats on selling your old cattle chute.
This is probably a day late and a dollar short but If I could turn the weather around I would send some rain and hale your way it is really raining with some wind where I live, well maybe the rain minus the hale and wind ,I hope that it rained today for you all.
Great video again Guys good luck with the rain coming 👍
Scary camera placements! I thought sure you were gonna nick that guy wire!---I'm sure looking forward to that rain footage!
you guys are killin' it.. great work..
Thanks!
Looks like you're getting some work done hope you get the rain be safe keep up the good work
GREAT video Cile and Mr. B. really enjoyed watching. Hope y'all get the rain. Be careful and safe. See you next time
Glad you enjoyed it
@@SonneFarms I did very much..
awsome video cole defianlly need rain for sure in the last few videos hasnt rained yet at all hopeing that you get some soon thumbs up and shared
Watching this on the 5th of May. You guys got some rain I saw on the radar. As I’ve been watching this evening, we have been dodging tornadoes, wind, hail, and in some parts not too far from the Quah 6-8 inches of rain! We’ll be begging for it by the middle of July. Hope you got all prepared for your rain. It looks like you are getting some tonight too.
How many claves now?
Watch draping yourself over the fence Cole, especially holding something like a calf. It can cause you to pass out. Not fun.

125 i think
See you next time

Thanks Mark!!
Praying you guys get rain 🌧
Great video! Can’t believe y’all are almost to 200k subs! Seems like yesterday y’all were at 50k, and then 100k with the live stream. Need to do that again soon!
Thanks so much!!
As always, enjoyed the video. Peaked on the radar last week, I think you got some moisture!!
Sure did:)
Great content!!! 👍
Great video 👍😏👍
Cole I feel your pain, my chain saw pull cord broke on the forth pull yesterday. Went from logger to mechanic pretty fast.
I get such a kick out of your cows going in and out of their corrals at their leisure!! I can almost see you rolling your eyes when you see another one out and heading back in...I’m assuming so they won’t get in ‘trouble’!!
They are like kids. :)
Old farmer that I never actually knew used to say it was time to plant corn when you could walk to rhe middle of your field, drop your bibs and skivees and sit your naked butt down on bare dirt and not jump up. Told that to my Grandpa and he said, "That's right."
My day is complete! Sonne Farms vid!
Enjoy your videos so much! very entertaining. Like the way you guys keep up your equipment, a clean tractor is a happy tractor! Chas.,SC
Brian, I agree about the classic country vs whatever todays country music is. I'm a Willie Nelson fan because I got hooked on his musical stories in the 1970's. The line in "Hello Walls, "is that a tear drop in the corner of your pane?"" is one I that made me a believer.
Don’t forget The gentle giant Don Williams !
@@jeffmcgrath2202 A better era for sure.
Brian: Really like your song of the day picks. “Humble and Kind” is a great one. I’m a country fan (among other genres). Clint Black’s - “Something That We Do” falls into the same category.
How many acres of corn and other crops do you grow? I miss the farm life!
Hey I just wanna say I love your videos I watch them all day over and over again! I know it wasn’t this video but I was watching the dehorning one. Have you ever heard of using bands on the horns. We had four adult cows and put them on and it worked perfect all four fell off, and don’t think I’m one of them people against dehorning because I’m not at all! I was just curious if you’ve ever heard of it! Those cows were all great mothers but trying to tag them calves was hard! We would either wrap a cattle panel around a round bale hoop and chain it to the loader of the tractor and set it down over the calf to tag it or we would take a gate with two people and have to spin it around to keep ‘‘em off of the person tagging! I was just curious if you or your dad had ever heard of it! Also I love the relationship you have with your dad! I hope you guys never stop making videos! Also we don’t plant or harvest. Hay is all we do I hope to one day run a combine.
Congrats on getting married soon Cole, were is she from in Iowa congrats to her too God bless you both.
Le Mars
Something tells me that Cole very much enjoys and likes that new-ish 'Latto' song: "Big.... Energy." Haha. Pretty sure we've heard it on just about every video that he's put together in the last month or so. Haha. I can't say that I blame him at all, as it's very catchy for sure. Especially considering that whoever produced the song heavily sampled the 'Tom Tom Club' song: "Juicy Fruit," which was also sampled by Mariah Carey, and dozens of other hip hop and R&B artists/producers, making it pretty much one of the most widely used and incredibly famous songs/sounds. You can't help but to get into the music as soon as you hear it. It's a big ol' earworm! 😂
If you've got to get ready to do all your planting, when are we going to get to see your fence wire winding machine in action ?
No rush, I was just wondering.
I did my rain dance again...
I added Mt Vernon to my weather app locations so I can worry along with the rest of ya..
Believe they got almost 2 inches over the weekend. :)
Brian the song is for you ,kind and humble , you are great . Come buy some Hereford bulls in South Africa , we also have great crossings
awe, thanks Johnny!
Hope you fixed Moms machine so she could seed her lawn LOL I enjoyed the video thanks.
I wish I could help you I'm retired now I wouldn't want anything but my hips are shot and I can bearly get around until I get new ones I was raised on the farm my parents sold the family farm I would of been the 5th generation to farm that land but dad got sick and had to sell it just after I got out of highschool and I went and operated heavy equipment I enjoy you videos so much you and one other are the only ones I watch you show the best and worst of it I'm just a little older than your dad I'm 63
I'm sure me and your dad would get along so good we raised corn wheat oats and soybeans hogs and cattle we had registered Angus
Evening SONNE men ! Did I hear you mention in a previous bcast that you had try to breed earlier this year ? Ans she never got in pup , could it be she is in too good body condition ? Rising plain of nutrition etc for sheep to get pregnant. I would love to think Ellie and her pups will be with us when Brian becomes Farm Manager , Cole in present position and Cole jnr whether boy or girl becomes the next apprentice !!! STORLA STATION becomes a nationwide brand yeeha.
Keep up the grand work guys !!!

yeeha indeed!
Wish we could send you some of our TN rain! Seems like it rains here every 2nd or 3 rd day!
I work for an electric cooperative and bill out damages to our facilities. This time of year is really bad between farm equipment and mowers for hitting guy wires, transformers, poles, etc. Be careful, it gets pretty pricey paying for the damages.
Sounds like it!
I saw that. Better put a t post there where she got in and out of
