Oh honey...using box dyes, you are literally using bleach, peroxide or ammonia on your hair; idc what the box says lol, it's in there but in smaller amounts. And that's why your scalp was burning. Also you can't lift color with color lol which is why your roots took & the ends didnt. Reds are the most difficult color to remove from your hair, you have to bleach it out, unless you are going darker. Color Oops is trash, Colour B4 is way better. The easiest thing would have been to apply a bleach bath (bleach, 20 developer & shampoo mixture) to your red ends to pull as much red as you could out. Once you're satisfied with that (I wouldn't do it more than twice); then applied the honey blonde to the ends. As soon a you notice the color changing, hit the roots & cover with a shower cap and let it process. Going from red to blonde is one of the most difficult things to do, even for licensed stylists. But your hair came out nice. Keep it moisturized because you blasted those cuticles lol
Wud using hair stripper firdt work. Mines faded alot. It's really like looks more like a light brown now am naturally amousey colour, iv got hair stripper snd 2 medium honey dyes as my hair quite long but fair x
you saved my life lol I got orange hair too after dying it blonde.. and did dark ash blonde and now I don't look like Ronald McDonald! I'm sure I damaged it but idc ..at least I'm not a clown! 1:39
Thanks for your transparency. I have a TWA used the Textures and Tones Honey Blonde 2x a week or so apart I used the full packet of booster the second time and I hate it. It’s basically orange. I need a solution considering the Light Golden Brown to darken a little but now you have me thinking about the Ash Blonde but I’m scared of the 🔥🔥🔥.
i think as long as you dont do like me and manipulate your hair alot in a short period of time you should be fine! if i remember correctly, at the time of filming this i had done a relaxer and colored my hair like 3 times in the span of a month
@@DaishaView Happy New Year …so here’s what happened I did the Color Silk Medium Ash Blonde and it turned out perfect. It’s actually the color I wanted 🙏🏿THANK YOU!! So now I know the Ash Blonde is the hack.
I'm loving the color. But, the torture you put your scalp through!!! Child! 😂 I screamed when you said it was burning 😂. It's like I felt it. Please, nurture the scalp!!!!! Love you girl! Are you planning on relaxing your hair again?
This is my fave color/dye to use, even tho it never gets my hair this bright but I recently bleached my locs and it can out this color! I posted a vid of my experience on my channel too!
heyyy! so i dyed my hair last night using the same box dye and my roots were grown out so it lifted my roots well but not the rest of my hair. so you did 2 rounds of the dye correct? like u applied the first washed it and then did it again? sorry i’m just trying to figure out how to fix the mess on my head bc i don’t want to go back dark
If you look closely, I avoid the roots in the first application and I apply the color right below the grown out part. and then on the second application I do the roots at the very end. Your roots will always be brighter because of the heat coming off your scalp. If you wanted to dye your hair again I would apply to the length of the hair but don’t dye the roots since they already processed well.

I'm about to try Medium Ash Blonde because right now my hair is orange ginger like a darn Thundercat.🤣
Thanks for sharing so truthfully
Can you use the color oops and then color your hair black ?
I love it. Make sure you give your hair a protein treatment.

Are you planning on relaxing your hair again?
Chile I did way too much! 😂 but I just wanted it to be done. I didn’t wanna wait 💀
And no ma’am! I don’t plan on relaxing again. I actually just restarted my loc journey
@@DaishaView We want to see the loc journey too please whenever you’re ready to bring us in 💜

Oh cool! Thanks for watching ❤️
I dyed my locs a bright red, now I'm ready to go back to blonde... Prolly just gonna bleach it
Lmao! You are too funny 😂. The end result is lovely though so I’m guessing it was worth the pain.
Your color is beautiful, by the way.
I love it I'm going to try it❤️
heard her whisper 'pray for me' 😂
😂😂😂
I’m in need of a new hair color. I bought the dye but I’m being a scaredy cat 😂

I kind of explain it around 8:30
Watching like 😳😳😳😳😳😳!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥and proceeds to put the plastic bag on head. 😱😱. Please update. "Did you lose any hair"?
GIRL GO WASH THAT OUT OMG HURRY WASH IT OUT
Purple shampoo
Here’s a tip, look for fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.
Nice job but it’s burning because you combed the color and that’s a no no.
It burning cuz I scratched the mess out my head before this lol
Your hair is brown not red though
Over-processing isn't a beneficial tutorial. Most don't find a burning scalp funny or welcome.
Healthy hair is the goal, or so I thought. *thumbs down
