Hello from Ireland 👋 Awesome review - thank you! Found your channel a week or so ago and am loving how informative and clear your reviews are & so good to have a dedicated women's mtb channel! I had been thinking about a heckler sl but now after seeing this review I'm going to go test ride a turbo levo sl next week ❤
Ahhhh so so so happy to hear you liked the review! We have a few more reviews coming out by the end of the year, so stay tuned! Both bikes are great, it's just going to depend on your personal preference. Keep us updated on your decision!
Great review. I purchased this identical bike recently in S1 size and am loving it. I think you nailed all of my thoughts on this bike. My previous bike was an excellent xsmall 2019 Liv Intrigue E+ 1 Pro E-Bike. It had a bigger battery and was 15lbs heavier. I loved the amount of assist I could get and the battery lasted longer than the Levo, I could climb and go over any terrain in my SoCal region. But it felt much heavier and chunkier. The pros and cons of a bigger battery. 😅 The Levo is more nimble and lighter. It is truly a joy to ride, less of a tank and more of a gazelle. One of the notable differences between the Liv and Levo is the geometry. With the Levo I experience significantly less thumb and wrist fatigue. Also with the smaller battery I have to work harder due to less assist, and I have to charge the battery more often. But the 15lbs less is mightily appreciated and the tradeoff is worth it. Overall I love my new Levo and your review is spot on.
@@womensmtbnetwork I still like my Liv bike a lot. I think you would really enjoy the power and stability of Liv bikes. Although I now prefer the geometry of the Levo. I live in Sherman Oaks, I typically ride within a 40 mile radius of my area. As you know there are plenty of trails and ride opportunities all around. I also infrequently ride Snow Summit. I plan on joining the Skypark outing at some point, it looks like fun. Glad you are out there. Be well 🌷
@@womensmtbnetwork I had ordered the bike before watching your review, the review confirmed everything and now very excited. I am 155cm and 54kg so hope the S1 is the right size for me. Your review was excellent.
I love mine. Something to bear in mind is that Specialized charges so much for the fancier models, that you can upgrade it yourself over time, and not spend any extra money. They all have the same frame.
@@ivgxm5268I see. No, it’s not sponsored. Specialized or anyone else did not pay me a cent for this review, nor did I keep the bike. And second, at times I was reading from my notes bc that’s how I get the information out. So, yes, it was an honest review. It’s a great bike! Thanks for watching! Oh and so we’re clear-we don’t get paid from the bike brands for the reviews we’ve done.
Nice to see your channel, more pragmatique than many !
Thanks!

Glad you like yours! yeah, the bikes that are pricier depends on alloy v carbon frame, and components. But they are all so goooood!
