Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited we are taking a look at Holiday Ramblers Newest Floorplan! The is the 35GL which has an awesome Floorplan design that takes the dinette and makes it into an office! If you love luxury class a Motorhomes then you will love this RV!

Love the kitchen. The dinette table and chairs are super functional. Drawers in bedroom would be better. Matt is absolutely correct about bathroom and the double sinks.
Side by side washer and dryer. Great job Matt and Andrea. Love the exterior storage and interior floor plan.
I saw the jackknife sofa in the floorplan and thought NO WAY, but the theater seating is perfect👍The only negative is the cheap TPO roof and the residential fridge, a 12 volt fridge offers far more versatility😕
that is a really nice rv/motorhome!! no need for the extra sink. maybe they could've done away with the extra sink and put a stackable washer/dryer there and put more storage in the bedroom (where the washer/dryer currently is). yeah, could be a larger shower.

My favorite thing is that mid entry door, and how it allows for 3 distinct living areas. My pet peeves often revolve around location, like the fridge or stove being across from the bathroom door, or the fridge being across the room and down the hall from the rest of the kitchen, or the sofa being at a strange angle to the TV because the entry door has it offset by a couple of extra feet. In this model everything is in a good location relative to everything else.
I'm not sold on three sinks though. I'm one who often argues against a sink in the bathroom on small RV's because there's such limited space. In this one, I think I'd rather have a larger and easier to use shower, than having one sink for washing hands and another for brushing teeth?
Edit: I realized that was exactly why I prefer rear bathrooms. When you don't have to make space to walk through it, you can add a normal double vanity, and a bigger shower, and have a PPP.
I completely agree with Andrea. Lack of storage in the bedroom is a deal breaker. Love the kitchen and the dinette/desk, but still room for improvement.

I think they put the price up just to make you feel like you are getting a bargain at the actual price they sell for.
Agree with another poster, taking out a sink in favor of placement for the washer/dryer would have been nice or do a combo washer dryer and add drawers as an option on the other side.

If HR would have put an opposing slide in the bedroom this unit would be perfect. My wife likes her space in the bedroom and that is why we purchased an Invicta 32RW.

Matt missed one thing that I really like about the bathroom. There is a pocket door on the kitchen side and another on the bedroom side. You can close them both and have a great space for toilet, shower, changing, etc. Also, if you don't get the washer / dryer there are storage shelfs.
I really like your channel and respect your opinions and your knowledge in the RV industry would you be able to recommend a laminate,, aluminum frame no wood couples camper 20 to 25 ft , prefer couch no dinette, seeking an instant water heater with Central AC system, no propane only battery and solar,,no bunk and no slides (I'm scared of leaks), the RV would be meant to live long-term residential and only moved if needed!! I'm open to any manufacturer with reputable ratings !!thank you kindly Timothy Arroyo!

I can see the two sinks but not at the expense of a PPP. Love the table work area conversion since booths are never comfortable anyway. Colors are nice but for that large a kitchen would not mind a dishwasher.
Need to remove the extra sink, extend the shower over and include more storage in that area which could include a bank of drawers since the master bedroom is missing that. But otherwise a beautiful motorhome.
Phenomenal Class A gasser right up until the biggest fail I’ve ever seen in the RV industry….that bathroom is extremely disappointing! There is enough room for a proper split bathroom with a nice size shower, sink, and a prime pooping position toilet placement.
Likes:
1. Living room and TV placement.
2. Kitchen layout.
3. Kitchen table / desk.
4. Drop down above the cab bed with the TV.
5. The awning fully covering the entry door.
6. Mid-chassis entry door.
Dislikes:
1. The bathroom and only the bathroom!
While not a dislike, it would be nice if there was an induction cooktop in lieu of the propane cooktop.

Hate the shower. Im 6'3" 275 lbs and need a seat to help shower. Do not like 2 sinks in the bathroom either. MSRP?

Get rid of that third sink, put a bigger shower and a pantry in. I didn’t see a pantry in there. No doubt I would definitely consider this if they made that change. Still a nice unit though.

I like the living/office/dining area. Kitchen is nice layout but where is the DISHWASHER?? a RV like this should have one and there is room for one to be installed. Was there a pantry?
I do not like the double bathroom sinks. Eliminate the one by the shower so the shower can be squared up and made larger. Also, where is the linen area? The bedroom without drawers is a deal breaker. I like the washer/dryer set up, but really need drawers in a bedroom.
Love colors, kitchen and basement pass through storage. Dislike TPO roof, lack of drawers/storage in bedroom and dislike the bathroom area. 26k chassis for 36’ is great.
I really like your reviews but I feel like you kinda rushed through this one. I've seen reviews of this floorplan from other RUclipsr's and they noted that the split bath allowed a couple to share the space. One person at one sink while another is at the other -a split his/hers etc. I think it's ironic you say it's "the best new floorplan of 2023" with a more critical than normal vibe from Matt IMHO. I'm shopping and it may not be my first choice but I'm impressed how much is offered in a 36 foot coach. Nice job HR/Fleetwood.
Should have moved toilet to center and put cabinets on on wall of toilet area and no 2 sinks otherwise love it.
I do like the interior color’s. Now for my major dislikes…. Major one is not 🐶 window! 2nd the bathroom!! Don’t like the shower and really don’t like the 2 sinks! Remove the sink next to the shower and make a larger shower!!

Title says; Best new floor plan for 2023. I strongly disagree on this one. Bathroom and shower area is a horrible layout. Could have had a bigger shower and a single sink while maintaining a triple P. Also, I'm getting too damn old to bend over. I would rather have stackable washer and dryer. I would prefer a U-shaped dining area, as well.
That's too many compromises in this price range.

Love the space in kitchen and the double sinks in bath. I spend more time in the kitchen then the shower or on the toilet. Also don’t need washer dryer - need drawers. When getting ready at same time we need two sinks. Totally disagree with you.

Matt i think the sink next to the shower should have been used for a stackable washer and dryer and made the shower a square, that will also give space in the bedroom for more drawers

IMAGINE, one of my wife and I could be using the potty - separately, with the door closed (and I hope the fan on) - and that person could WASH THEIR HANDS on the way out. The other person wouldn't be bothered, as they brushed their teeth. This would be so civilized coming back into the bedroom area, or going back into the kitchen.
A Classy RV like this should have nothing less. Great Floorplan !

Main area is amazing !!! But totally dropped the ball with bedroom/bathroom, better ways to set those spaces up.
Matt, have you ever had to wait 30min for your wife to finish using the mirror in the bathroom when you have to poop? That's what the other sink and mirror is for, while you can still have a sink in the bathroom with sink water, which is needed from time to time when you poop, sans bidet, if you know what I mean. Nice design, I like it. I'd like to know what a radius shower is. I thought they were the showers that had the sliding curved door to save space, but the shower in the HR had a flat swing door. Is that a radius too? Not curved? Or, do you not like the shower due to size, as you implied.
Remove the 2nd sink and put a stackable w/d there. Then you could square off the shower and fit drawers in the master.

Hi Matt and Andrea! My likes are the kitchen and the dinette. And the theater seats. Dislikes not much wardrobe storage. Two sinks only needs to be one. That’s all my dislikes. I think this is a great motor home. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
All that storage outside but there's no kitchen outside. The Bathroom is Very Confusing. I mean why Two sinks and They Totally messed up that area. They could have Given You a Combo Washer Dryer so You could have Some Storage in it's place. But With that it Definitely is an Amazing RV. The Colors the Setup up front is Perfect. Great Job.
Im a longtime fan and great job with the move back to General RV. But bottom line is you left General RV admist their big controversy concerning financing fraud and now you came back to them. A lot of fans of yours are thinking the same thing. We will always rock with you but please make a video addressing that credibility issue that General RV had/has and if that was a consideration when you decided to come back. Be well and musch continued success.
and i think that loosing a full sized shower for a full sized man, to accomodate a second sink is slick but unacceptabole. otherwise, way above avg home.way. i think continuing the shower and removing the sink, and narrowing the hallway and increasing the toilet footprint would work for me.
I totally agree with the assessment of the bathroom design, it's just a bomb on such a cool design otherwise. Beyond that...tilt-a-bed....meh.
The panel above w/d in master is a magnetic drawer that hides your valuables! Saw it on another video !

It wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out where to put another sink in the bathroom and leave more room for the loo 🚽
Given what I have read about the new RVS I wouldn’t buy anything new. With inadequate support and staff and RVS breaking down as soon as they leave the dealerships they have wrecked the American industry. Buy one pre covid when quality was so much better. Spare parts are unavailable and you can find yourself with a brand new coach that simply doesn’t work. Far better to buy an older model with low mileage and if needed customise it to meet your requirements. Your financial loss will be so much greater if you buy new.
Just make sure that you have an independent inspection before parting with a cent and, if any problems arise have a second inspection to check out the quality of repairs and refurbishments.
It’s going to be a buyers market with the recession at the door and many dealerships will not survive. Any guarantees should be from an independent company or yours won’t be worth the paper it’s written on.

Put the washer dryer where the extra sink is... bathroom needs a redesign... switch the recliners to couch/bed...I like the table/office but don't like the chairs... good jump 🦘
Three things I dislike the toilet, the shower, the carpet in the kitchen. Other than that the coach was beautiful but there was no MSRP. I realize it’s a 2023 and it’s brand new but we could’ve had some type of an idea how much.
Nice, but tier 4 and not a fiberglass top? Tier 4 but no slide toppers? Not enough drawers for sure! Toilets a no go & 2 sinks? Not-definitely go w/a toilet only. Nice but!
Don't need a 2nd sink next to the shower. Would have much preferred a squared off shower there instead of the radius. Also, it makes no sense to have carpet in front of the fridge and stove where spills/stains could occur. I do love the colors and the exterior storage.

Love the layout, but why put the propane in the prime storage position? Put it under the slide on the drivers side. You never access the propane with the slide out so no head knocker worries. Thoughts??

That kitchen should have a dishwasher! And I agree with everything you said about the bathroom.
It's a nice Rv but I do not like it. The bathroom setup and the bedroom without drawers is a deal breaker for me.
There are lots of cabinets up high but no floor to ceiling pantry . Most of it is great,just a few miner misses .
An when you sat on the potty it drip water in the sink from the vent they could of took the sink out an put the potty better
