The niners contract situation with Aiyuk is an interesting one. These contract stalemates aren't always interesting because you know that the team is just going to pay the guy. Or in some cases you know there's no chance of the team paying the guy. But in a league and at a position where contracts always are expected to reset the market for the top guys, what do you offer to somebody who is asking for quarterback money on a team where you're going to have to pay Purdy? That's going to be another fascinating contract situation when it plays out.
And I don't know how you pay him as much as Jefferson. Aiyuk is very good, no doubt, but Jefferson is just better than any other wide receiver in the league so can't see them justifying paying that out.

If Dan Campbell didn't win coach of the year for bringing the lions from an 8 win season to winning not 1 but 2 playoff games, lions haven't won a playoff game since '91, you know the voting is rigged if Eberflues wins coach of the year for winning 12 games. By the way, no way bears win 12 games this season. I would put money on Keenan Allen not playing more than 10 games and Swift rushes for under 1,000 yards. Chicago's offensive line is nowhere near as good as Philly's offensive line.

Those two aren't winning the world cup, they're probably not even winning a game in the runup to the world cup (which is usually full of games against weak opponents).
The right solution is to look for the Belichick/Saban of national team soccer coaches but for that you need to spend more than the 2 mil they budget for coach salary now.
Short successful qbs are an anomoly in the nfl. Brees, tarkenton, not much after that cause nfl has gotten taller and bigger, short qbs in todays nfl have little chance of success.

Eberflub coach of the year? LMAO. This time next year the Bears talking point will be "Whose fault was their bad season, Caleb Williams or Eberflus?!" Bears going 6-11. Eberflub is a trash coach and the learning curve for Williams will be steep and people will panicking that history is repeating itself (though this time it's just the coach that's no good and Williams will be fine in time, unlike that bust Fields).
I don't think there are enough opportunities to cheat in soccer for Bellicheater to be any good. He cant even win football games without Tom Brady and massive amounts of cheating, let alone a whole nother sport 😂.
