24:32 and the extended one right after never failed to put me in stitches, perticularly when it was because of some character walking into a room with the lights off. It sounds like the entire goddamn kitchen crashing on the floor.
That explains why I heard some of these sound effects in Charlie Brown. (The Flintstone running sound can be herd in the Halloween one when he charges into the leaves)
3:46 always makes me laugh. Reminds me of the episode of The Super Globetrotters where some ice spilled out on the basketball court and some of the players kept slipping in it. 😂
46:06 is this “Bonk” sound that it was first used by Jimmy McDonald at Disney. It was first used in “The Fire Chief” as well as “Pinocchio”, “Goofy’s Gymnastics”, “Peter Pan”, “Ben and Me”, “How To Sleep”, “101 Dalmatians”, “The Sword In The Stone”, “The Jungle Book” “It’s Tough To Be A Bird”, “Bedknobs And Broomsticks”, “Robin Hood”, and “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas”. In addition to that, it can be used in everything for example “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” where Linus saw the Great Pumpkin that it was Snoopy as the World War I Flying Ace.

These HB sound effects were put out by Major Records, the company that put out music and sound effects libraries which was owned by Thomas J Valentino. He later formed Valentino Inc. for their Major Records sound effects that were used for Hanna-Barbera. And let’s forget Disney was the first studio to used some sound effects like the Bonk sound which was first used by Jimmy McDonald before it would used for Hanna-Barbera with permission, and mostly MGM where they first used these sound effects as well.

Mark Andrade They also used it for all of Filmation cartoons like "Fat Albert", "The Archies", "Groovie Goolies", "Sabrina", and many more cartoons from Filmation. Many of them are hit or miss cartoons and forgotten gems, and yes, Filmation did used them from one of the HB sound effects library that took a whole new level.

I love these sounds, I wish I knew how they were made? some I can guess lots of guitar and violin strings and wires getting plucked but others are just wtf
Golden Book Video did used HB sound effects on many of the VHS tapes of motion comic stories based off of Little Golden Book series. When Golden Book a video released a collection of episodes of “My Little Pony” G1 on all 8 volumes which were put out on VHS, it did have a decent amount of HB sound effects heard here, with a mix of other sound effects from Sound Ideas and Elektra. As you know, “My Little Pony” G1 was a cartoon produced by Sunbow/Marvel in 1986, same production company that made “Transformers” G1 and “GI Joe”, all three of these cartoons were based off of Hasbro’s IP.

Apparently the links don't work anymore, may I ask, if you do have the complete HB library sfx with you that you have download from the 5 links, would it be alright if you can share a downloadable link to the full set you have? That would help a lot! Thank You and hope you have a great rest of your day. :)

My favorite part of the sound is the spinning whatever at the end. Just adds that tiny cherry on top.
Every time I heard it in Looney Tunes was such a treat!
These cartoon sound effects are actually public domain, meaning any animation studio, ranging from Warner Bros. to Disney could use them!!!
Really???
Technically, Warner Bros. owns Hanna-Barbera
These are just mostly associated with Hanna Barbera given their frequent use of them
BBC too for CBeebies
