As someone who used to want to be a personal trainer, this app was perfect to help me combine two things I enjoy. I have learned many new things about Material UI, and solidified my current understanding of many concepts of React and using APIs. If you're having issues with the horizontal scrolling not working, uninstall the existing react horizontal scrolling dependency and update to the newest version. Restart your project and it should work. Hope that helped.

I discover that many people have problem with the API, if you encounter a 403 error, make sure your .env file is in the root folder not in src folder, It must be in the same level as package.json and make sure you've subscribed to RapidAPI before you use the API key.
yes bro i am having the same error at 53.48 min of video when i am trying to get response from exercisedb api and print it in console.log its showing error what do u actually mean by placing .env file in the root folder is it meant to keep in gym_exercises folder
@@sanskarbhatt5935 There are different reason to why you have that error, but one of them is that your .env file should not be in the src folder, it should be placed directly in the gym folder. And what error message did you get? And hope you subscribed to RapidAPI before using the key, and hope there is no typographical errors in your code.

ExerciseDB has currently migrated to V2.0. so if your building this in V1.1 its not going to work. You have to migrate to V2.0. Has anyone figured it out yet on how to do it? The application will just keep crashing until you migrate to V2 or just do that when your building it

Hey guys, if any of you struggling with horizontal scrolling menu, just add import 'react-horizontal-scrolling-menu/dist/styles.css'. At least it worked for me with dependency version 4.1.0.

Just wanted to ask whether you had any advice regarding limiting fetch requests? both the api's you listed allow only a certain number of fetch requests per month before you get charged a fee. So I was coding along and have been locked out of doing any fetch requests unless I either pay or wait a month to continue the project,
my revision guys the gif is actually not properly authorized so every one can show it there are no token and the urls are static, so using firestore to save your object result is best, but you still have to pay it first to retrieve all end point data.

When is is advisable to use Redux toolkit to make API calls? Like in this project, we just used the FetchAPI if I'm correct, does this mean that we use the Redux toolkit to make API calls when the data is large?
See al those silly errors (as programmers we all do that), you can avoid them if you use typescript. Also to avoid errors when consuming your API data, you can use typescript to describe the shape of your data and when you try to access a non-existing property on it, you'll get a clear warning about that mistake. We need to use a specific version of horizontal-scrollbar-menu.
So what i did is restart a new project but i add manualy on "package.json" these =>

"@mui/material": "^5.6.1",

Then npm install --legacy-peer-deps to install them
