Wow ! I remember most of these guys when I was a kid, especially Bob Andrews at Cradley Heath. Pity the home of The Heathens at Dudley Wood was sold off...what happened to Bernt Persson, Mike Gardner, Bob Andrews, Chris Bass, Roy Trigg, Graham Coombes, Ken Wakefield....a typical line up from 1969.....?
Nice comments from Kelvin....he is right they did really well as a pair...wish they could have pulled it off...1985
PC and Mort....it meant so much to them.....

Crossi one of my favourite riders ommer um cradley
the riders should of revolted over the 6 man rider races , these times were the best times of speedway , the hey day as they call it , so many great riders involved in world pairs, and so many riders that deserved to be world champion that just didnt make it for one reason or other,
6 rider races was a joke ...more like a lottery than skill
Definitely right, remember our local hero rider from 90s suffer massive injury in one of them. That was in Wiener Neustadt(Austria)
@@landsbergman1594 Świst?
Malcolm Simmons whinging again.......was that guy EVER happy?
Simmo is dead. How about you pick on a rider who can fight back?
