Hey Definitely. If you are ever passing by Urbana or Champaign IL let me know! Ill give you a tour of our place and take you out to lunch. Otherwise i hope to cross paths one day over the road! Safe travels!
Good to see another episode. I missed when we didn't get any episodes but you had a tough year last year. Welcome back and it was a great episode to get back into it!
From a RUclipsr to a respected journalist in a few years. Great respect for what you achieved! Best wishes as well. Keep up the good work, and keep them videos coming. From the Netherlands my regards.
Down here seeing your buddies at ABC in Winter Garden right now 1/23 at 9:45 in the morning. Bringing 2 Yankee Trails buses down here to be serviced. We run cruise routes from The Villages to Tampa, Canaveral, Everglades and Miami. My route is Ft Lauderdale/Miami.
It's like a full-scale auto show with all the new equipment except it's a lot bigger. The nice part is you can find out a lot more plus get the feel of the wheel and enjoy that new bus smell😊
Marco (Pray-vo) Prevost... That was great interview... When you are a member of the Prevost family and pronounce it Pray-vo - that puts an end to the debate of how to pronounce Prevost correctly
Thanks, James. for showing us the latest. How I'd love to take that new MCI for a spin. Like you, that's where I learned to drive, on 5s, 8s, and 9s mostly. So reliable, and always a pleasure to drive. 👍
Great video! Thanks for “taking us” to the show! Now…for that southern accent…not horrible…I think we can make you an honorary southerner for that one! 🤣 Now would you mind taking that snow back to Illinois with you?? 🥶 We didn’t get snow in Atlanta but it was FREEZING this week! I’m ready for spring!
Haha thanks FoCoBuzz. Actually we didn't get any snow in central IL that week. Crazy that Nashville got 5 inches. What's the world coming to these days !! LOL I will definitely take the Honorary Southerner title.
@@MotorcoachWorld Imagine taking that TD25E around the Midwest with this cold snap? You would be lucky to even get near a charge station given all of those dead electric cars cluttering up.
Thanks for taking me along with you. Since I am retired, can you answer this? What happened to Setra? Is Benz not importing it, or is the Tourrider the replacement? 2. It looks like the coaches are more upscale than they used to be. Did anyone have a line service bus on display? Like a Dina? 3. Prices. Who had the most expensive unit on display? How much was it? 4. Any coaches on display with a galley and or tables? I think the Freightliner did, but $400k for a cutaway is mind boggling. 5. Horsepower and transmission choices? 6. Any Hybrids out yet? Saving money while idling would help. You might lose some luggage capacity, but increase the bottom line with low speed electric motors. 7. How big is the fuel tank on new coaches? 239 gallons is what I would call good. Thanks for your adventures, and, even though I am retired, I’m still part of the Motor Coach world.
Hey Qrail. Setra's are no longer being produced for North America. Although you can still find used ones and parts are still available. Tourrider seems to have replaced the Setra. 2) Yes, The OEM's definitely want to put out their best at these trade shows. No I did not see any line service bus here . Haven't seen a Dina in over a decade. 3), These guys usually don't give out prices due to the fact that there are so many variations depending on what you are looking for. But I would speculate that Prevost has the highest price tag. 4) No I did not see a table or galley on any of the coaches here. Galley's are very uncommon here in the US, 5) Depending on the Make and model, there are different choices for Engine and Transmission, You can go to each of their websites and check out the specs they have to offer, Too much for me to type here. 6) No currently there are no Hybrid Coach buses in the US market. 7) They all differ. most are around the 200 gallon range
@@MotorcoachWorld James. Thank you for the answers. I appreciate the detailed response. I drove a Setra and a Neoplan that had galleys, tables, and stick shift mechanical transmissions. (I’m from the SF Bay Area)
Watching this makes me feel as if I am following James around in this event. I've been to APTA Expos, need to see if I can go to ABA someday. Nice place for a bus geek to see some new stuff in the industry.
Happy new years 🎉James once again enjoy your tour in Nashville of the different bus manufactures keep up the good work look forward to more videos in the future.
Well done as usual James. Not sure about those FREIGHTLINER based coaches. To me that is a ton of money and have the engine roaring in front and appears to be another airport shuttle or party bus. MCI is shrewd enough to keep the foundation in place. Love those blue lights inside. Pretty but you can pay tribute to our fine police officers as well. That’s neat that they have living Prevost’s involved. Good to see Dennis again.
I LOVE that lift at 3:23. I am not a driver but a user (sometimes) and tall buses scare the CRAP out of me. I don't know whose bright idea to put the lift by the bathroom but it's so dumb! I mean my chair is 30 inches so there is hardly any wiggle room! That gate thingy at 5:30 is a GREAT idea to block people and chairs from going out the door. Both safety things can be seen at 6:10
Great video James… question… what would be the difference between a single axle steer versus double axle steer??? Seen any ?? Or got to drive one???? Any on the road here in the states????
You should ask ABC or Vanhool why they stopped making the TX model and only went to the CX model for the states. TX I feel is/was a better coach as they as sooo much more comfy for tours. the 2024 CX at least got upgraded air suspension that works just like the MCI so it rides better but man our 2023 models feel rough.
Herr James, good to visit the channel. .. Cheers, M/S .... (Peoria rules!) Glen Oak Park & Zoo in the late 1960s!
Hey J! It’s great to see our Coach in your video! The Mercedes Benz Tourrider M3011 is from where I work.
nice video very cool to see
so fun to watch.............thank you James, beautiful job putting this together. Jeff, Rockford Illinois
Great video it was cool seeing my friend Carl in your video
Another great episode! Thanks for stopping by the Prevost booth, James! We'll see you in Raleigh.
Happy to catch up with you on the road, best wishes for 24!

Of all the things I miss about the ‘Bus Biz’, is going to the conventions seeing old friends and ‘networking’. Have fun at ABA, UMA AND IMG!
Great job 😊
Thank you!
As always James, your videos do not disappoint. It’s so easy to fall in love with any of those new Motorcoachs, they are all quite beautiful.
Than you Brad! Much appreciated!
Yes another great episode 😁😁😁😁Man I wish I could go
I think you can register your self for ABA events on their website. marketplace.buses.org/

Great video. Enjoyed the chat with the grandson of Mr. Prevost. My 1989 Prevost still runs great, and I enjoy every minute behind the wheel.
Sweet was excited to see the new MCI we’re getting 2 new mci coaches in march.

Same goes for some of the food consumed! 😋
lol You need to come here and visit us one day. Ill let you drive around what ever make and model we have in our lot.
I appreciate the video once again totally informative and entertaining and like you I cut my teeth with a MCI until next time God speed🙏🏾
I would like to see James and Dennis both drive New Prevost soon .
Dennis look like 007 Sean Connery
LOL I sent Dennis your comment. I think he will get a kick out of it. I am really itching to drive the new H345!
Thanks James! Awesome video especially the Nashville twang!😂

Cummins X10 coming in 2026
Do you think bus manufacturers would consider doing DEF fill holes on both sides like the fuel?
@MotorCoachInd, @ABC Companies, @PrevostVideos, @Daimler Buses, @Temsa North America, Any one from these Manufactures care to answer this question?
17:00 Volvo 9700 got rid of the flat center surface?
The 9700 still have the flat surface
hey james in missouri last sunday and this monday we were only 8 degrees
