I visited the Spring Creek hobby shop in Deshler NE in August 2021 and man, it's got tons of inventory and it's way out in a small town in the cornfields! I've been a customer for over 10 years and they have great service. Nice to see the Free-Mo setup!
Most cars had reflective strips, but I noticed only one boxcar (TTX) that had graffiti. Today, it seems that almost all boxcars and reefers are "blessed", along with a smattering of other car types. Blair Line decals, anyone? Overall, very impressive.
It's the way I do mine. All cars have graffiti! Also take a small Dremel grinding disk and glaze the frieght car wheels. Inside and out! Where they catch the switches. Really looks cool with ambient light.😂🎉
Some nice shots of some well made modules, but I feel you fall into a common failure that a lot of people who shoot video of these types of meets - you concentrate on the close up detail without giving the audience a feel for the size of the whole setup. Grab a chair in a corner of the room, stand on it, and just a simple pan shot of the room is all that is required to give us a feel for expanse of the layout, and then the detail shots.
NICE💪👍😉 NOW LETS SEE SOME AUTO CARRIER CARS AND SOME 87' LONG EXCESS HIEGHT BOXCARS, AND 87' LONG FLAT CARS CARRING THEM LONG BLADES FOR WIND DRIVN TURBINE GENERATORS.😉🇺🇸🇺🇲
For those interested, Aerial photos of the setup can be found on the Free-Mo Model Railroading Facebook page.
Details of buildings always appreciated

A railfans dream
It would be nice to see some of your detail. I can always see trains running around a layout!
These are amazingly detailed. It must have taken days to set some of them up.
Dunno about setup, but I do believe the window for take-down is...demanding. Depending on the venue, of course.

We did all of that but forgot to include it in the video. However it can be found on the free mo Facebook page.

I think Mark Watson of Free-moNebraska would be your guy for those. He has run both blades and Boeing fuselages. Some military movements too, IIRC.
Very nice....
Could you let me know please Where could I buy this nice long black girder bridge that i see after 15 sec. of ths video ?
What scale?
N-scale, this. Free-mo is HO scale, while Free-moN is N scale.
