Nice review and glad you like it. You hither nail on the head. I'm a guy and absolutely love it and have a full bottle. I love the way it tells a story from the icy aldehydic princess in the opening to gradually warming up and falling in love in the dry down. At one point it smells like cranberries and pencil lead to me, and then it sweetens to an almond croissant and coffee dry down. Totally exotic and makes me feel like the missing son of David Bowie and Bjork whenever I wear it. I also have Pikovaya Dama and this is an easier wear.
It took me like 8 hours to smell the base. Amazing complexity here. All notes are smooth and well rounded. For Turandot, I got some cool citrus at the beginning too making the fragrance a true translation of the ice queen Turandot into an olfactive character.
I def have to try Lakme! I think if you’re using this for casual use people might be just not used to it. I’d only wear this to the opera or the MET Gala lol.
Hey Troy, I love unisex fragrances so this sounds right up my alley. Question do you like this one better than Boadicea 1907? Although you mentioned Turandot is more fall/winter and 1907 is more spring/summer… I could justify both lol

i have it for a year, never a compliment getter, it is nice but not a wow. Lakme is a true gem that make people ask every time what I am wearing.
