I love how this game handles the concept of guerilla warfare! It really feels like the odds are stacked against you and every victory is precious.

With the map icons, the red icons show hostile groups (or animals) and gold ones are friendly or neutral. Also the animal icons represent that type of animal is in the area around the icon, NOT that one animal but possible multiple ones. You also might want to unlock the 'arrow' arrows as they are more deadly and you can recover at least some of them from bodies you shot. 'wooden arrows' are always used up as you shoot them, most of the other arrow types can be recovered.
you also can 'train' a horse that will be your horse exclusively, it is one of the first missions you have to do at the start. This horse will have a saddlebag that you can store stuff in and you can customize the saddle, name your horse, etc.

Just so you all know, they seem to be having problems with their launcher so many are not able to play the game at the moment. They are working on it, but the chances of it working seem to be 50/50 at the moment.

@@gameedged attacked my first fort solo... finding it hard to outfit my tribe.. I put arrows and bows in the loot.. assign it to the warriors but then they don't show filled quivers. They also don't really harvest stuff.
great idea, game needs some heavy refinement. maybe someday it'll be top notch.

You mean like we do now? You could make hotdogs, glue, ingredients for beer etc etc. It is truly amazing how we use all parts of the animal

You can highlight individual resources just like you did with the objective. They will also show up on the compass.

In the menu go to craft go down to the item you want to craft. Then hit create objective. Select the number of said item you want to craft. Then hit search. The items required to craft the item will be highlighted both in game and on your compass.
Looks really amazing. Does it have different character skins to choose from like clothing, hairstyle, particular nation distinguishable features like Pawnee, Huron, Mohawk, Sioux, Crow, Cheyenne? Pretty cool and long overdue to find a survival game that featured the true survivalists of the states.

Watched half the vid then signed up to be a founder.. You can tell when things are missing like when you intimidate a downed enemy, he looks like he is messing with his midsection instead of saying anything intimidating. Any of you guys seen what appears to be 2 cowboys sleeping in each others arms next to the camp fire.. I assume its a bug but it was a WTF moment.

I love the premise of the game and it’s about time we had a game based on the culture of indigenous people. If the game is 90% gathering, crafting and hunting, and is based on genuine techniques and recipes used by native Americans then I would definitely buy it.
However, I’m pretty tired of games that are largely combat, it all feels the same old tedious macho grind. I will watch your series and see. Thanks for this.

Yeah, macho is so terrible. The American Indians sure were not macho, they were all soy boys... There was no violence in their lives before the white man came, they just all got along... There was no competition or fighting between tribes, they all loved one another! They never took each other's land or stole anything from anyone; that was all the evil white man's thing! No evil hunting or killing animals, masculinity was banned! If a brave wanted to become a squaw, it was encouraged and looked upon with great admiration! They only had problems with transvestite operations; it seems that when they hacked off the appendage the vast majority of them died. Good thing we have modern technology now...

GameEdged it does. But preordering in general, is not a good thing. People tend to do a better job when they get paid *after* they are done with the job, versus before.. just my humble opinion.

How does the size of the world compare to that of, say, GTA V or RDR2?
they've compared it to being bigger than skyrim, so I'd say close to rdr2

Game looks super great! Though, I don't think that the map is done well. It breaks immersion. Early game, plenty of time to change that if they choose, of course.

@@corysimmons5701 Didn't know any money from this game was spent in such a way. I did a little research (about 10 mins) and couldn't find anything saying that they support the native people of what we now call America. If you have any information I would gladly check it out.

If you just come in to rip it apart and suggest to cut things out, do it differently, make fun of his skills and implying that you could do better, I don't think it makes you very sympathetic. @@gameedged cause it will end up no good, they take your money before you even seen the product, do you pay the baker before he bakes your bread?, i already really hate "early access" and i hate/dispise dlc and microtransactions, i come from a age in wich a person bought a game, it was 100% completed and 99% bug free, now you pre-order some game, it is launched in a 75% state, filled with bugs, and you have to accept that bullshit because it is "pre release" or "early access" fuck that fraud!!, that is greed!, that is consumer stupidity at its best!, you pay them for a 100% product, they give you 75% + bonus bugs, they promise you they will fix it eventually.... dont sound like a good deal, we should all stop the early access/beta/pre-order bullshit!.. look at DayZ enough said, 5 years in early access... its .... stop it!!!..
