- In the southern suburbs of Bengaluru in Karnataka, sits a new residential complex that integrates greenery within its layout. One of the apartments within utilises this to its advantage.
When we visited the villa, we were stunned by its simplicity and charm. The client’s Kerala roots, the architect’s love for tropical modernism and Geoffrey Bawa, and the villa itself sandwiched between greenery on each side, all come together to give birth to this charming abode. The expansive volumes carry an innate sense of warmth, and each space looks towards the outdoors.
Designer Vinithra relies on natural materials that age beautifully to create canvases inside this home, as well as the décor. With enthusiasm, she narrates her design process as well as certain design decisions that add life to these soothing spaces.

The living room, the dining and the master bedroom are some of the key highlights in this home. We can imagine this home to double down as a community as well as a retreat, encouraging a sense of individuality and rooted-ness that is synonymous to tropical modernism in architecture.

I loved this home, especially the colour scheme. My favourites were the wallpaper in the dining area and the dark-coloured bathroom. I would not have a mirror in the reading nook, though. Every time I move, the mirror would reflect that, and as eyes are coded to movement, it would be a constant distraction.
Really elegant! Any references on the tree trunk decor in the hall? Absolutely loved that!
I tried searchint via image but got nothing 😅
I follow Vinithra since 3 years now. She is just amazing in her designs. Very classy... I was so impressed by the design of this home that my own kitchen theme is heavily inspired by this home's kitchen. In fact, I have designed my home by watching her videos.
There's one Painting of Raja Ravi Verma called "Mohini", It depicts that incident where Lord Vishu took incarnation as Mohini with the "Amrit". That painting is kept in the Bathroom. It may hurt the religious sentiment.
Plants yey!! I loved the 'tropical' theme, any plant lover would love the design.
Aesthetically beautiful home🎉🎉
Functionally airy and full of light, not a very big plot but gives that spacious feeling, beautiful!
Beautifully done space, excellent concept and space utilization.
Absolutely love this!
In almost all the home tour videos featured in this channel, everyone was barefoot except this one!
Beautiful, how much cost would it take ?? anyone if knows reply me!
Beautiful designing house ❤. I must welcome your team to build a dream home for me in Odisha.
beautiful :)
Beautiful 😍❤️
What is the paint finish in the powder room?
Beautiful nailed it 👌
Elegantly designed 🎉
I have a doubt regarding the ventilation of the powder bathroom as it is sort of centrally placed in the plot and not on the exterior wall of any of the house... Can u plz throw some light on this?
I was eagerly awaiting for this episode of Buildofy from the time the first teasers were out.
This is "The Best project" from Buildofy so for in under 3,000 sqft plot category. The house is just oozing of elegance inspite of the minimalistic designe, which is attributed to such a brilliant use of subtle colours, material that blends with the theme perfectly.
Just-loved-it!! ❤
This is my dream home..tastefully done. Some of even the rich don’t have such taste..including the ambanis!
GOOD design
plz share wall hanging design tree
where we get it
So classy
Hi
There is no puja room and yoga room - Lacks warmth - it's more a house and not a home.. hmmm.. not so impressive - lacks the wow factor and functionality..
Not having Pooja room must be a choice...
And I don't think it lacks the warmth of a house just because it's a bit minimalistic...
The very definition of warmth is subjective
They are Christians.... That's why no Pooja and yoga room..
@@gani-1110 Probably, also Even yoga room is as per one's lifestyle , not something we give it as a standard
@@gani-1110 just because they are Christians it doesn't mean they should not have a Puja room. India is a secular country. There are churches in India. Same way Christians should also have a Puja room & respect the sentiments of Hindus. Christianity itself says all are equal in the eyes of God. Christians should be more accommodative just like Hindus. I have seen many shops & homes who have images of many religions. Gandhiji also spoke about inclusivity.
@@PS-ug7nm your opinion is there is warmth - my opinion is it lacks warmth. You expressed your's. I expressed mine. Simple. If I want to see non Puja room homes, I will check out homes in Los Angeles, Miami - I dnt need non warmth homes.. I m looking for homes with a beautiful Puja & yoga room & a room for parents - this will make the house a home filled with warmth..
No charm in the house
7:06 the woman is graceful and beautiful
Why tf would u buy in Bengalore when Gurugram exists LMAO
Dude you are comparing a banglore to gurugram 😂
It's like comparing a villa to a hut.
As a mumbaikar, I would rather move to Bangalore/Hyderabad than any of the northern metros..
