The first try, I feel like the Irish dude was RIGHT there and should’ve just dived for him instead of having a chat with him while he was running hahahaha
Ireland's not really a dominating force, to be fair. They've never won World Cups, Commonwealth Games, Olympic medals, or anything of note on the World stage, men or women, 7s or 15s.
@@Rugby-fan-007 no, it's because they've never dominated anything at World level in the history of rugby, fullstop. And even if they won this 7s game, that doesn't mean they dominate 7s. It means they won Singapore 7s. But Argentina actually dominated the 7s Series & got the 2024 Series League title.
@@Rugby-fan-007Wrong. At RWC2019 Ireland were useless & were beaten by Japan who finished top of one of the easiest pools. Yes, we thrashed them in the QF, but they were hopeless. The RWC2023 QF was merely an example of Ireland choking. Their fans, pundits, media, etc, had already crowned themselves RWC champs. You're doing it too by suggesting that if Ireland had won the QF they'd then automatically go on to win the SF & Final. Utter nonsense. Like I say, Ireland have zero global prizes, men or women, in 7s or 15s. Hardly worthy of the adjective "dominating".
@@HenriHattar who does argentina was the one that had the depth this year and in the girls it was between nz/aus - next year it could be fiji again or nz who knows -that is the beauty of rugby 7s - or france or Ireland even GB played well this year
I watched one of the 6 nations matches where England were playing in very windy conditions. I can’t recall if it was against Scotland or Wales, but the English ladies were pretty dropsy throughout the first half until the wind was not so much against them in the 2 nd half. Not criticising the ladies in any way, but I think conditions are a major factor, and the speed and pressure within the mens’ game is generally faster and harder.
What a game of rugby. Defence to attack from both team was insane.
Fair play lads. Ye did us very very proud.☘️☘️☘️☘️
they should they are rated number 2 on the circuit while nz is 5th at the moment
Wow! What a final.🤩🤩🤩

Why was a penalty not given for a trip on Mullins at 8:35
Was asking myself that. Happened twice to Ireland in that match.
If it wasn't for NZ Ireland would probably be dominating rugby especially 15s NZ is their only real nemesis in big games in recent times

@@Sunflower-dt6ev exactly because NZ keep knocking them out in the big games and it was NZ that ended their record unbeaten winning run

@@Sunflower-dt6evI'm talking about recent times like the last 5+ years not the whole history.

makes no sense to do that last kick by ireland
New Zealand is the only rugby country that continues to dominate 7’s, union & league. They different.
true but not at the moment ireland rated 2 while nz is rate 5th on this circuit
Way to hold out for the win.
@12:47 that's a dummy, great play all the way through both teams
Why kick the ball and give it back to the opposition is beyond me .
iRELAND are to be congratulated for getting to the top of the rugby tree, but I think their very short reign is over.
Now WHY would you say that?
@@williamwalker3837 Ohh, call me honest I spose.
ireland are doing very well on 7 circuit both both male and females - they are doing much better than the male or female GB teams
@@bodybalanceU2 Yes they have but don't have the depth to stay there.

So close, so very, very close but NZ snatch it away at the death
Go Blacks ❗
that ref was tooooo green
Since when was NZ good at 7s? Haven't kept up with the game the past several years
simce the beginning of the game i think
@@SHORTS_N_SHIRTS absolutely not - 15s tried disassociating themselves with the 7s team
All Blacks 7s 13 World Series titles.
Why do the men drop the ball more than the ladies i can't understand it 😮
Because if your going to get smashed physically, then yep forget about the ball? 😂

Its a different game,13yr old boys would destroy the women
is that a serious question? 🤦♀️
And the Kiwis are so gracious. Not.
as if any other country is - get real its a game - stop with the crying about nz 🤣
Hardluck Ireland fans hahahah😂😂😂😂
