The shower door could be on rollers so it does not have to swing. Also the shower could have a teak pan built on top to maintain the visual flow and hide the actual drain. People just shower on them and leave in place. Love the design and layout of this one.
OH MY!!! This is the absolute best version of a gypsy wagon I've seen. I'm good with the walk-thru shower, but I would need a small version of a composting toilet that could be set outside the shower when bathing. I really love the livability of this version...as others said, I might move some of the sections, but in a simple floorplan, that's always possible. I like the door-mounted folding table idea...or the classic pullout breadboard table under the bed, with the facing seats right next to the bed.... in which case the shower would have to move to the back....but no one would want to lose that bay window...such a great idea.....another fun floor plan to play with....15 x 8?
Just the problem of putting it right next to the fridge... Layout could be better... More ideal would be to place the Cubic Mini to the left by the bathroom door, the bench seats to the middle and the fridge to the right by the outer door... Puts at least some distance between the stove and the fridge to better protect the fridge from the heat, puts the stove closer to the middle of the structure to more effectively heat the whole space (should also help make it easier to protect the plumbing from freezing in cold climates), and with the fridge by the outer door it's a shorter trip to grab a cold drink when doing stuff outside...
@@ZeoCyberG , everyone's priorities are different. That's what these little trailers have over the factory bought campers. You did notice the heat shield, didn't you?
Yes, and the fact it's only a partial shield that doesn't protect the upper half of the fridge at all... So the fridge will be exposed to both heated air and radiant heat on the exposed upper half... Really, physics 101, you don't put something you want to keep cold right next to and even only partially exposed to a heat source! At best, it'll make the fridge work harder to keep cool and at worse it'll damage it and it'll eventually need to be replaced.
Beautiful craftsmanship Looks like you may have used galvanized stove pipe, that can be dangerous in an enclosed space if the pipe gets too hot. If I am wrong sorry Absolutely love your videos, thanks for posting
One way you could have improved this beautiful home was to add a foldable table to the door that could be used as a dining room table for the two seats that are immediately inside the trailer door. Next time!
What is the height of the inside... Just wondering if enough space to make a (cab over) effect like a truck camper on a trailer would look like. The underside space needs be 48" above the trailer tongue, then enough space above to use as a "double" size bed on the overhang... some can be inside by say 1/3. And then the radius of the bow. just musing on a design.
@@trekkersdaddy08 close enough. I can calculate the radii of the arched roof from that. TY...I'll send you the design ideas I have once I draw them up in my CAD program.
Very nice and looks good workmanship but the price is far to high even your a buisness and your in this for profit the same as me. I'm making Vardos that match this build and with my mark up of 100% clear profit have a full order book. I really must increase my prices if I doubled the price I'm charging fully fitted including a toilet, fridge, freezer, aircon, large TV, and fully fitted kitchen and wood burner, your still over pricing me by just under $5000. Thanks for opening my eyes my price is doubling on future orders. Great video thanks, enjoyed so much thanks for sharing. Glad you advertised your prices. Keep busy that's a good Vardo like myself you will be allways busy when making good products.
It looks great. At first the shower placement seems really weird, but placing it in what would have been just circulation may be genius. Time will tell. What does a unit that size weigh?
Matt Gorman it’s about 2,200lbs I’ve built a few walk through showers and they are awesome. There’s no other way to get a large shower in a unit this size with a queen bed option
Do you have spray foam insulation in this? What is the weight? Could an RV pull it? Does it have solar on the roof? How much? If one panel, will it run both the refrigerator and A/C and incidentals?
AbundantlyClear it has foam in the ceiling and floor. The solar panel just keeps the battery charged which runs the lights and 12v ports USB. It weighs around 2,200lbs. Should have no problem pulling even with smaller SUVs
I wouldn't recommend that... small SUV's typically have a rated tow capacity of 2000 lbs or less, and you're not factoring the loaded weight and dealing with less than ideal road conditions. So, while you may get away with towing it with a small SUV... I would definitely recommend making sure it's a vehicle rated for at least 1000 lbs more than the weight you will end up towing... Especially, as that's also a liability concern...
Lol! Yes- and if I ever have the money I definitely will! In the process of sorting through belongings to start selling off most. Now if my dog would stop needing the vet I just might be able to pull the dream together. I’m 70- it’s now or never. Love all your builds. Great work.
You should have put half inch space wooden slats across the bottom of the shower floor so it looks like you're just stepping up onto a little platform and stepping through instead of actually walking through a shower
oops sorry I just read in the comments that it weights about 2200 pounds. looks like It could be made slightly longer and then have a queen size bed and also have kids bed underneath.
@@trekkersdaddy08 Sorry, I don't want to rain on your parade. It's very nice, and very well made! It's just something I was thinking about, because I've been looking to buy property. No, the land you could get, wouldn't be very good. But, if you owned it you could park a Gypsy Camper on it!
Hardly the only one he's building and he's also running his second company, Core Housing... Custom built also means every one has a different price... So do you really expect him to remember them all off the top of his head?
Shilodog Smith yes it was a custom build and the first of its kind. I know what he paid but haven’t decided what I need to charge for it to be profitable next time.
@@trekkersdaddy08 , no need. I love the gypsy trailer, but I am not interested in purchasing. Just trying to figure out where the toilet would go. Thank you for your quick reply. God bless you!
Add a toilet! Add a washer! A large board between the seats and you have a bed. I would put the shower closer to back of the home on one side. Move the seating area where the shower is now and you can convert it into a bed at night. Shift the kitchen toward the door. Maybe a fold down porch so you can pull it up if you travel.
I think showers should have openable skylights to provide light and air. Venting of wet areas is important. But the walk-thru bathroom is awesome!
Handsome wagon. Well thought out and loaded with style.
love the wagon. less shaky cam. causes motion sickness for people like me....it took 3 attempts to finish....keep up the great work....thank you...

Its the best version? Its not a wagon...its a trailer. It has nothing to do with roma culture. Gypsy is a very offensive word.
Love it. Remember to keep your viewers updated. 😊

Rebecca Pettifer great idea
It's really a nice trailer. The floor plan isn't for me, but that's okay. As long as the owner is happy.

Andrew Bennett thank you. But where will it be situated?
Like a porta potti, it's movable... So anywhere that's convenient...
The toilet will be in the shower while in use then stored under the bed when not

Dark Soul certainly
They are not gypsy and are not wagons. They are trailers

Single axle "C'mon Man
michael roberts why is that a concern? It’s rated for the weight and then some. Single axle also allows better maneuverability.
