I enjoyed watching the series. Kate Beckinsale is a phenomenal actress. You could literally feel her struggle and pain throughout the show. She could convey all the emotions with just her facial expressions and I felt sympathy for her, because of the things she had to go through and the way she was treated near the end. She did not portray a weak woman, but her story truly depressed me.
The Widow is absolutely worth a binge watch. It has a very compelling storyline with an interesting array of characters. I really loved the diversity because it gave unique insights into the drama as it unfolded. The cast was exceptionally well chosen for the various roles and the crux episode was masterpiece in itself with acting that could not be surpassed.
Excellent show, sad, but true fact indeed, which is lived daily in my beautiful continent. This explains why Africa will forever remains impoverished, despite its natural wealth; that is, if its will not be exploited, or robbed at once. Respectfully Submitted.
No fighting or survival skills, can't speak the native language, rushing into danger, and on the hunt for a warlord??? I finished the series in disbelief, she found her husband and managed to stay alive for eight episodes.

It's a shame we all kinda knew what's been going on in parts of Africa. Great series, hopefully it brings some attention to the atrocities that happen.
