Hey Nique! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch this, construct it, and make a video reviewing it!
In regards to "removing the billet" - I generally keep billets. I've got loads of them. In performance, it goes like this:
    - Give them the billet, ask them to write their favorite movie
    - Do the performance
    - Afterwards, IF they ask about the card they wrote on (they generally don't, but if they do), then my response is: "I'd like to hang onto it. I meet a lot of wonderful people, such as yourself, but sometimes the memories get tangled. Two years from now, I want to look back at this and remember the great experience we had together, Vivian. Consider it a souvenir."
Now they feel so special! They're not 'just another audience member' - they're a person who the mentalist (a person with this extraordinary ability) wants to remember.
Or, if doing a QA, it already makes sense for the performer to keep it.
If the reallllly want it back, then you just look at the short edge, flip through & find the one with writing and give it back to them.
    Best,
    Tom

I put this together yesterday, and I must say, it's excellent. The action of getting the peek is almost the same as a card peek in a deck (a Marlo concept, I think) from Henry Hay's The Amateur Magician's Handbook that I learned when I was a teenager. I've never been called out on that peek, and I think your peek will go right over the spectators' heads.

Tom´s Ideas are great. I Combine that Peel with Paul Carnazzo Pac Stack Idea. Turn into a killer gimmick. Any pack of billets who I have in pocket, have one "gimmick" that setup...
Thx one more awesome review, Nique

    Thats what i said!
This fits right in to Scott Creasey’s minimal mentalism work. Plus you can also use the stack of billets for Phill Smith’s The Biz peek - perfect for that second participant.

Love you to review THE INTO WALLET from TCC. I think it ticks all the boxes. Great peek/peeks, and a card or borrowed ring etc. to a sealed envelope inside your zippered wallet will also do a no palm card to wallet it is minimalist in design and has all you need as EDC., not leather but very well made, and you could buy 3 of them for the cost of most magic wallets. I have only seen one review on youtube; it deserves a much wider audience.

Great review. How does this compare to Paul Carnazzo's PaC Stack? The peek looks very similar and it sounds like the limitations and restrictions are similar too.

    • @skywardmagic5754
      @skywardmagic5754 2 года назад +1

Hi Graham! It's not like his. I probably shouldn't say too much here because I don't want to give away any part of Paul's method. Let's just say that The Worker's Peek doesn't require as much cutting, and you don't have to worry about lighting.
      Best,
      Tom

Hi gullion111! It's not like his. Obviously I won't say too much here because I don't want to give away any part of Paul's method. Let's just say that The Worker's Peek doesn't require as much cutting, and you don't have to worry about lighting (I mean, you gotta be able to see). Also, you're getting a full peek - so they can write along the edge of the billet if they want to - it's easier if they don't... but they can and you'll still be able to see it.
      Best,
      Tom
