This song is about how he lost his childhood to fame. It’s about wondering if he made the right choice even if he loves his fans.Basically wondering if he made the right choices losing the experiences of life to fame.He came into the industry at a very young age, always a camera shoved in his face. That’s was it’s said it’s about.
He sounds just like what Michael Jackson would say cause he didn't get to have a childhood from age 7. At least Jungkook had some but nonetheless, 13 is very young to have begun a strenuous career path.
@@cynthiajackson36 I believe that Bang PD kept close contact with them and also RM was probably supposed to monitor their mental and emotional states. RM is a great kind and compassionate person. He loves each member like his child.
There are things and feelings that artists wanna tell and also can't tell. The only way to tell how they feel is through a song. I feel like this is also something like that. Great masterpiece with a deeper meaning. That's how I feel 💜💜💜💜💜
I'm always learning something new with BTS. I have never heard 'finna' before this and had to google it. Thank you for this video. Now craving to watch the live performance...got a go!
Yeah it’s been a slang word in the black community Since the 80s. “Jk finna slay the concert tonight “ “ what is jk and jimin finna have for dinner?” 💜😊
Because it's a beautiful, heartwrenching song about losing your childhood much too soon. JK will never get to experience growing up like we did, being carefree, feeling out the world at his own pace and finding his niche through trial and error. He was thrust into the lime light at a very young age and was trained to be a sex symbol. Attacked by fans, the media, and BTS haters brutally, and publicly, about every little thing from his hair cut to group accusations of plagiarism and even death threats. Smear campaigns by rival labels (SM). Hypersexualization, extreme diets, growing up away from his family, working until his body literally breaks...this was his reality. The life of global superstars like BTS seems very glamorous, but the reality is often very very different.
I'm sure this song feels different to everyone. We all ask about our decisions and how we spent or waste time into someone or something. Beautiful song.
Jungkook is my bias and I loved the performance. But *unpopular opinion* I feel like it was "too sexy". You'll say that it's obviously not jk's fault he's sexy, and I'll totally agree with you, but I personally think that in the hard choreo and we lost the sad feeling of the song. I would have imagined kookie sitting in a rainy night, on top of a well looking at his reflection in the water and seeing his younger self. That's the scenery that I had. I loved the performance but I prefer to listen just to this so I don't get distracted by unbottened kookie lol
@@SR-ml6mb Hey! Kinda late but I think the choreo was purposefully “too sexy”. JK had a hand in deciding the choreo and I think many people miss that it’s meant to show us how JK had lost his childlike innocence by being thrust into the industry too soon. He was sexualised by the fans and gp since he was a minor and had to put up a “sexy” front even before he came of age. That realisation is what makes the whole performance so fucking sad. At one point, we see the cameramen and him walking past them - it’s deliberate. It shows us how he’s always been an object of admiration or scrutiny for the public.
Please we need 100 millions of likes for this masterpiece. Thanks for the best fans. JKOOK you are like an angel unique and special. And your voice comes from heaven. Love you from Morocco 🇲🇦
Thanks for using proper grammar for the lyrics 🙌 With other lyric videos on youtube, they use slang words, and the lines run together without commas which makes it read like word salad. I hadn't fully appreciated the meaning of the song until I saw this lyric video 😭😭😭😭
He wrote this about him going too young on fame, but it's so beautiful how I can relate to it because of how my childhood was like, I just want to say that many envy skilled, talented or "prodigy" kids but believe me you don't want to be one of them, it's not as nice as it seems.
Irlanda, you are spot on. It’s not his youth but someone who got away whom he vowed to get back sometime in the future. You should watch Taekook and the beautiful Rose journey. You will see.
till I watch this video I thought it was about a girl or his love but after watching this I realized that it's about his own way and life now there are thunderstorms in by head thanks 😊
And yes, you know, yes LISA, you know Oh I can’t call ya, I can’t touch ya Oh I can’t Let me know Can I someday find my time? Finna find my time Someday finna find my time...
Word? Really? Korean niggas using black phrases like "finna"? Lol! Word? Thats what we doing now? Don't get me wrong I LOVE BTS!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!! I'm just shocked that Korean ppl know about the phrase "Finna" like. ..HOW? And how are they such soulful singers? While other ethnic groups try be soulful (because lets be honest this type of singing and dancing originated from black Americans) yet kpop got it down packed but other ethnic groups cant do it! What am i missing here? I'm honored that they are culturally appropriating the right way (they come off as respectful to the culture, have studied it thoroughly) they are executing it properly and ! And ... well they are just so talented!
Leela. correct. That finna got me paused the video just to make sure. But with them starting with the hip hop style and as you mentioned their respect for the culture. I sometimes feel like they are one of our own. And dang right they are talented!
I'm not american, i don't know much about black americans, but while learning english I also learned all of those phrases, no idea they were black, as i just knew them as some words in songs, lol
😬😑 he's talking about his TIME of childhood that he lost bcz of his fame. Bcz when he was working hard for his career he lost his childhood. (Sorry for mistakes i am not native english speaker)

He expressed his own time
I cried while listening to this as I lost my childhood to early too because I have to help my family
I wanted to send this song to a friend but the colour coded ones are a bit tricky
Your video was very helpful. Keep up the good work!
Wow how are you sooooo talented?

Very deep and emotional. JK along with the entire BTS really lost their childhood to fame. Let's pray they enjoy the fruits of their labours now 💜💜
Listening with tears into eyes.
It's easier to follow the english lyrics here, else i get lost reading the romanisation 😂
So beautiful ♡
OMG JKOOK your voice kills me.
In this song he seems like he had to get away from someone important for him, like he lost someone he loved bc of the group and Chase his dream...
He s just talking about his youth. And at the end of the song he says "I will hold ya, I will touch ya" claiming back his youth, his time.
