I am totally fascinated by your work! You may make it look easy ,but I am attempting and I will never underestimate how difficult it is in fact! Please tell me how your manage to hide the joins on the fondant once you have attached the legs and arms to the frame. Warmest regards, from Patti( South Africa).
Hi Patti! To smooth the joints on the fondant, I just use the tool like in the video, and I use my fingers too. I use Fondx brand fondant. Fresh fondant is usually soft and easy to smooth the surface/joint. If the fondant is a bit dry, it's difficult to smooth out the joints. You can try several other brands of fondant, different brands can have different textures. Good luck, Patty!

Hi hi Sonu! Thanks for watching.. yes, with the weight, you can make it easier and get the same proportion as mine.. the wire should be stainless steel that is food grade, and also hard. Normal flower wire is too weak to support the heavy fondant dear

Hi FitanadFab! Each brand of fondant has characters that are sometimes different with other brand. (one brand takes a long time to dry and more flexible is suitable for covering cakes, and another brand is easy to dry but less flexible usually for making a topper). You can try several brands, then you can find which one is more suitable for you and your climate. In addition, you can add a little cmc or tylose powder (thickener), knead well with fondant, then the fondant will be firmer. To keep the fondant from sticking to my hands when working on the fondant, I use cornstarch in my hands or on the table. And to keep fondant from drying out quickly in dry climates, work in a closed room. ;)

I left it overnight in an AC room for each drying process ;)
