Thanks for making this video. I am a novice airbrush user and wanted to make sure i was putting my airbrush together properly.

I didn't know the original tip comes in two pieces. I had the paint cap continually flying off after a use and I couldn't figure out why. I took the two apart and cleaned them and it works properly. Thank you for your video, also great tip on the t-shirt. After twice being on my hands and knees looking for the tip this is a great idea.

Thank you Frank, I'm an engineer that bought this 5 years ago? 4 years ago? on a trip to touch up new equipment that gets marked during install. The directions that come with it.... that DON'T come with it, I shelved the damn thing for all these years and finally today tried to use it. wouldn't work, wouldn't work, not sure if paint is too think, took apart... couldn't figure out the trigger assembly. THANK YOU THANK YOU for your help. Did I say? THANK YOU?

Great video! Good tip on only being finger tight
I’m struggling to get the backplate move fully back and return to position. Any thoughts?

Se si infila da dietro l’ago se non mano ferma si rischia di rovinare la punta piegandola!, provare infilare da davanti e vedere che non si rovina niente.

Does your Krome have a good amount of needle exposure through the nozzle when installed? I just received my krome and the needle exposure is very shallow making it difficult to spray fine details. I'm trying to decifer if my airbrush was shipped to me with the wrong needle installed. Does the needle have any distinctive markings on the back-end? Thank you.

Is anyone else having issues with the badger Jerome and constantly having to clean the tip because of splatter?

A side note not related to the tip. I tried thinning my regular acrylic paints and it caused a lot of issue and there was residue which clogged everything. I bought airbrush only paints over the holidays and have not had the continual problems that I had before.

+Edward Goldstein some paints are still quite thick, especially standard Citadel paints, because the pigment particles are bigger than airbrush ready paints. Trying to spray it through a fine detail airbrush makes it doubly hard to spray properly, so it's better to use an airbrush with a larger needle size.

I gave a thumbs down only because you,as the other Krome Renegade disassemblers failed to address removing the rear needle seat ( or bearing) which should be done for deep cleaning. It is a bit of a pain to fine tune the gun afterwards but users may need to know how to maintain their equipment. A slim straight screwdriver to access the brass assembly that holds the Teflon seal is all you need and some patience as you have to get a feel for tension on the needle, but not too much.
