Piper Rosefield I watch cable for walking dead only and Netflix for shield and other shows so I just finished season 6 the other day and this news crushed me. I found this show during summer of 2018 and I was in a dark place but the humor and stories cured my depression and now my dad, best friend and I are big time fans of this show and this yr long wait is already getting me all sad b/c Daisy and Jemma the others will most likely be forgotten in marvels future since Feigie doesn’t want them in the MCU. I do hope the show ends on a good note like maybe if they change time again a lot of the dead characters like Lash well Andrew and Lincoln and Mace and Tripp, Davis and even Radcliffe could return or they could pull an endgame where Daisy stays in the past w/ Coulson and May while Jemma and the others return to the present.
I just realized that all of the original 6 have been the villain at least once, except for Jemma, which is so crazy and I love the way that lets us see different sides of them

I finally got to meet them at this Comic Con. What lovely people they all are. I just hate that they have to end the series. They also think they won’t be back to Comic Con next year. This cast has been to so many fan panels and has been so faithful to the fans. We won’t forget that.

unrelated but highkey hoping aos stays true to the comics and lets daisy become director because they’ve simply foreshadowed it for too long for it NOT to happen. honestly just not the biggest fan of director!mack. he’s alot more closed off and pushed himself away from his important relationships when he’s shown as a family man. He literally tried to leave s.h.i.e.l.d. 3 times because of important people of his getting hurt (especially elena), and wanted to leave with elena in season 5(?). i truly do not think he will last long because of his conflicting values. meanwhile, all daisy has ever known is s.h.i.e.l.d. and the people she works with mean the world to her because they ARE her first family. She has dedicated everything to the team and has evolved so much because of it. Also, daisy has been stepping up as a leader even more throughout the seasons and it can work until the point where she fulfills Coulson’s wishes of becoming the first inhuman director. Daisy is extremely intelligent, resourceful, and extremely qualified in terms of fighting and training since she was basically raised well by her two adoptive parents (the calvary and the old director of shield). i think she is the perfect fit and the only reason she didnt want to do it is because she felt like she was replacing her father figure or wouldn’t live up to the very high expectations he had for his (basically) daughter. also... her becoming director would rise the chances of daisy being noticed by the MCU movies. #quakedeservesamovie
Daisy has turned her back on Shield, like literally left. While Mack only thought about it. It’s natural when a job gets hard to want to leave, but Mack never actually leaves. Daisy is doesn’t know how to phrase things properly when she leads. She tends to make people feel bad for asking or requesting things. I mainly talking about when Jemma tried to follow a lead from Fitz when he was locked up and Daisy was so rude that May even said something. At least Mack knows how to respectfully turn down people, not make them feel bad for requesting something. Maybe if Daisy proves herself not to be as rude or something like that she’d be fine. I love Mack as director.

Even though I kind of lost interest in season 5, I am going to miss these guys. Particularly Iain and Elizabeth. They have become so synonymous as FitzSimmons that its hard for me to imagine them playing someone else or playing characters who have romantic relationships with someone else. It also sucks a little bit knowing they are almost done. It will be a year till it airs but the cast will have all gone their separate ways. I doubt this will happen, but I hope they find a way to bring Brett Dalton back in the final season in some capacity. I miss him. In season 4, at least he got to have an arc in the Framework storyline.
