I'm always wondering why a lot of Americans are pre cleaning their dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Mine (european Modell) says to not to this because the dirt isn't detected well this way. Everything comes out clean without washing beforehand
For grocery herb plants I’ve seen online you need to split up the plant and repot it so there’s less plant per sq inch of soil! Imagine it as all the herb grocery plants are much much too big for the pots they come in! Roots wise!
Hi Sarah! If you don't have the time or energy to make spring rolls for the week, you can cook up some more vermicelli noodles and make a bowl out of that! That's what I do to save myself time. For the sauce, you can look up the recipe. The main ingredient is fish sauce with some sugar and other stuff I believe but it's not hard to make at all. The sauce will last up to a week! I mix mine up with shrimp, fried pork, cucumbers, carrot and green onions.
Hey Sarah! I'm not sure if this also applies to parsley, but I learned recently that basil from the supermarket is hard to maintain because there are so many plants in one pot. What you are supposed to do it try and separate some of the stems along with their roots and repot them into different pots. This is the case for basil, so it might also work for parsley. Also, your parsley turning yellow usually indicates too much water!
oh that’s a great point 😅 the parsley looked pretty crowded but i didn’t have another pot to put it in - might be that and a combination of overwatering!!
so I was justing watching one of your old videos and just wanted to say that you are amazing, I literally are a new subscriber and I am obsessed already , I love the way you are able to handle being a software engineer and a fantastic youtuber . I also love the effort so yeh that just what I wanted to say
I have the same brand of washing machine. That’s a standard size here in the uk! I also have to do smaller loads. It’s annoying. I have a huge tall air drier rack thingy. Saves space as it goes up rather than along the room. I also have one for over the bath tub too.
James going to coachella is some king vibes. Love that for him! No but fr I love it for both of you. I think going on mini solo trips while you have a SO is healthy. Sometimes you want/need that time and I woulndt be mad if I was the one at home cuz having the house to yourself is nice sometimes.
The yellowing of the parsley is most likely too much water. Make sure the soil dries completely for at least a day between watering - works well for most plants!
Happy Sunday and thank you for another vlog! I would say, if you can, to get some reusable bags to take to the grocery store for fruit/ veg- they do that over here in the UK now and just means a lot less use of plastic bags.
Hi Sarah, my partner is interested in becoming a coder and she would like to know more about how it works. So from what I understood from your videos it is more like a team job but do you get to work on projects alone? Or do you always work with your team? By the way I love your apartment 😍
