Slim, you have an uncanny ability to transport me to another place. You're a wonderful story-teller. Thank you for doing the hard work it takes to produce quality videos.
You outdid yourself today! That’s incredible! Your skills as a storyteller are apexed only by your skills with the camera! You are a true artiste! Thank you!!
Love from Detroit, Michigan. Slim I follow over 100 campers, vanlifers and by far you are my favorite because you're my Lorne Greene 2.0. You know exactly how to narrate compared to everyone else. Just love the mood you put me in.
Thank you for taking me to such a wonderful place. I retired in 2009, and came home to care for my elderly mother. I do so 24/7, alone. She is now 100 yrs old. All my plans for my retirement have gone for naught. But, I get to travel with you and see sights with you. I look forward to your adventures. It makes my day, and my endlessly monotonous life. I wanted to tell you you are appreciated. I hope it helps you feel good that you and your purpose is very important to others. Thank you.
Hi Wes, nothing I do compares to those who sacrifice their own time to help others in need. I'm sure you're mother greatly appreciates your efforts. Thank You! SP
Thank you Slim, you never disappoint. Another wonderful video and commentary. I will never understand how people can be nature loving enough to hike a mountain trail, but leave their litter in the very idyllic place they just passed through. Shame on Humans. Stay safe and take care, my friend.
I really needed this peaceful, soul-enriching mountain hike with you today. Thank you for taking us along to beautiful vistas and quiet mountain streams. To reflections in way-side ponds and views from the top of the world (well … this part of the world❤️). At 71, my body no longer allows me the joy of long solo hikes in the wilderness. Your channel feeds this part of my spirit while I stick to short but enjoyable walks accessible from my little RV. Beauty is where you find it - and I can be assured of finding it in your journeying. Thank you. ❤️
In the 1960s I remember watching my grandfather sitting in his chair watching hours travelogues I have so many places around the world. Watching your videos makes me understand why he did. I look forward to every new video that you make to see these gorgeous parts of North America.
Can't wait to see your videos when you explore Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and maybe you can even get over to St. Pierre and Miquelon, which is a part of France, we're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!!!!!
"Seltzer guy...he's still a dweeb." I love how beautifully you portray our continent and the care you take with it along the way. You are an enlightener.
We camped there in ~1990. I see the forests around the park have grown back as when we were there the park was a square of green surrounded by a sea of clearcuts. This was one stop on our way toward Newfoundland, perhaps one of the best trips I've ever taken. Atlantic Canada rocks.
Mango seltzer comment??? That was the best! Thanks for helping us all do our part at trying to keep this beautiful earth clean! Appreciate all you do Slim!
I just spent the last week vacationing in southern NB (I'm from Montréal). Make sure you eventually make your way to Grand Manan island (just south of Fundy park). It's really beautiful, and even the ferry ride to get there is interesting (saw several Humpback whales).
Slim...for a nanosecond I thought you'd gone to culinary school and hadn't told us yet...then came the look on your face after the first bite. 😂😂 Great climb. You deserved that tee shirt. I love trails, but those tree roots, real ankle poppers. 😳
Enjoyed the hike and the scenery even with the trash and the graffiti, you showed the beauty that remains. Not every dish is a masterpiece, some are just for filling the empty spot in the belly lol
20 year old graffiti is vandalism. 100 year old graffiti is historic. I noticed this at Yosemite. There was a felt difference between names from 1880 and names from 1985.
I never thought I would be interested in videos of a random guy pulling a camper around and taking me with him. Alas, when a new Slim video comes out I drop everything and watch it.
These video's have reached the level of professional releases..... I consider these as professional as PBS (discovery level) releases.... I love them.... Doc
This video was great medicine for me...Thank you. The beautiful video and pictures helped to ease some of my polio pain as I am lying in bed. I so miss my outdoor life. Thank you taking along.
Much gratitude for taking me with you on this fine hike to the top of New Brunswick. My lungs are in bad shape and I really miss the hikes and scenery. So, your attention to the close up shots of the flora and fauna is much appreciated. Thank you for sharing. Keep up your tremendous work.
Brings back memories when I was there. My old Aliner is immortalized on their reservation page in a photo of the site I booked. Liked the drive along the river to Plaster Rock.
Slim it’s Soo Soothing to my Soul to watch & listen to your videos! You are a Special person! Thank You for being out there & Sharing your Adventure! My 🙏 for You 😘
How beautiful this park is! I'll admit I've worried that you wouldn't be close enough to the lakes and mountains you love. No need. You've found it all in this park.
Another wonderful video with loads of beautiful scenery. I just love the moss covered rocks. Nope I couldn't have resisted taking a drink either. Thankyou for taking us along with you on this lovely hike.
Only thing sad is that seltzer dweeb probably took a leak in the stream if you are lucky that is all he did. Sometimes I really do not like humans and then I get restored by good people on sites like this one.
Ithank you and other campers and hikers pick up other peoples trash, SO Good of you to do so... I'm unable to get out like I used to so in a way I'm living the outdoors through you and others who care on RUclips...
Slim, once a week my son and I watch your newest video right before his bedtime. They are beautiful, inspiring and relaxing. Thank you for bringing us along.
Yes Slim that is certainly a beautiful and peaceful area and yes Water Water Water, especially for us migraine sufferers. At the same time if you aren't thirsty no one can blame you. Thank you for sharing videos again.
Slim I hope that sauce was ok or you might be heading for the pit toilet and possibly a shower again. Thanks for the beautiful hike. Very artistic as usual. I doubt very much that I’ll do that hike so thanks for taking us to the top of NB. Safe travels my friend. Stay blessed buddy. Cheers!!!
Slim, what a slice of heaven! Thank you for taking us on this hike. Makes me want so bad to hike in Canada!! And honestly, that big smile on your face when you were talking about the mountains of the maritimes made my day!! Great to see you enjoying life 😀
Beautiful showing of my home my province, born and raised .Did your homework going to William's Falls, You are a colorful RACONTEUR; french for a person who tells anecdotes in a skillful and amusing way..Your tenacity's inspiring ! MERCI
Slim is an extraordinary adventurist and digital video documentarian. Congratulations for all the lovely hardwork to provide adventure to armchair travelers. Hearty Greetings from India 💐🙏
Wonderful hike, scenery and commentary. You looked "in your element" at the top of the mountain. I imagined what that warm sun felt like and the fresh air as you took a break. Ah, thank you so, so, much for taking us with you. And your dinner didn't look like vomit for a change - ha ha ha. Mt. Carlton!!
Hi slim just wanted to say I absolutely love your videos. I've watched all of them. I can't get enough of them, lol where are you off to next? If you ever come through st paul MN I would love to buy you a Beer! Happy trails slim.
My wife and I were just able to drive the Alaskan Highway and because of some of our video's, we were able to pull into provincial parks and get settled without any confusion. Thanks
Slim, you’re such a class act! I never get tired of your wonderful eye for photography. Not to mention your ability to narrate your videos. Nice work, Buddy. ❣️🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼❣️
Slim. I'm in Alberta, originally from the end or start of Laurentian mountains in Northern Quebec. All of Canada is an amazing treasure. and, Slim, you are one of our treasures.
Great hike . I was huffing and puffing at times 🤪. I live at the southern end of Appalachian range .Love hiking trails in mountains. Need bear spray in my yard sometimes 🤣Beautiful photography Well done 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤🙏🙏
Beautiful is the best word to describe that location. Most of us are stuck at home during a pandemic that refuses to end. But you get to visit nature during rough times, your very lucky.
I love a mixed Birch and Pine forest myself, which we in Michigan can find in the northern Lower Peninsula and the entire Upper Peninsula.😊 Thanks for sharing your hike and campsite because, with my knees and fear of heights, I'd never be able to hike that trail, especially the mountain. What beautiful views and wonderful foliage. Your eye for small details is so satisfying for this couch potato hiker. Thank you for sharing your adventures and talents.
I don’t know what’s more disturbing, the graffiti, or the fact that someone would carry a can of spray paint that far with intention of using it for graffiti.
Sad statements on the average human. Tossing trash and scrawling garbage on everything it sees. Somehow their parents failed to instill leave no trace in their little minds. Such a shame. But of course they know everything so you cannot tell them anything.
I really love your videos. I'm restoring a 1986 Brat (Brumby in Aus). I have a small caravan so love your stories. You verse is artistic and your an inspiration Thanks Slim! Jim in the Outback Australia.
Here's where the geologist in me pops out. The reason that the Appalachians are much lower than the Rockies is that they are so much older . the Appalachians formed almost 500 million years ago, while the Rockies are only about 70 million years old . The Appalachians are worn down to the core material of the range, while the Rockies are relatively young whipper-snappers as mountains go.
Thank you for taking us along! I can no longer hike the trails and I miss the beauty of it! But you do a fantastic job, and tell the story along the way! Thank you for sharing your talent and nimbleness amongst the rocky and mossy trails... Have a great day!
Slim, you have an uncanny ability to transport me to another place. You're a wonderful story-teller. Thank you for doing the hard work it takes to produce quality videos.
👆🏼Couldn’t have said it better!
You outdid yourself today! That’s incredible! Your skills as a storyteller are apexed only by your skills with the camera! You are a true artiste! Thank you!!
Took the words right out of my mouth. I completely agree.
he plays a mean guitar as well
Love from Detroit, Michigan. Slim I follow over 100 campers, vanlifers and by far you are my favorite because you're my Lorne Greene 2.0. You know exactly how to narrate compared to everyone else. Just love the mood you put me in.
It was great to go along with Slim on his hike. I can't help but be envious of Slim's ability to capture the beauty of nature.
Good morning , wow what a beautiful place to be. Thumbs UP to you !
Thank you for taking me to such a wonderful place. I retired in 2009, and came home to care for my elderly mother. I do so 24/7, alone. She is now 100 yrs old. Hi Wes, nothing I do compares to those who sacrifice their own time to help others in need. I'm sure you're mother greatly appreciates your efforts. Thank You! SP
As a whole the trail looked pretty well kept, but there is always one. The view is BEAUTIFUL, thank you for taking us alone.
The voice of a TV documentarian, just comforting!
Thank you Slim, you never disappoint. Another wonderful video and commentary. I will never understand how people can be nature loving enough to hike a mountain trail, but leave their litter in the very idyllic place they just passed through. Shame on Humans. Stay safe and take care, my friend.

What a beautiful peaceful place. Top of the World . Looking down on creation ,transported to another time.
In the 1960s I remember watching my grandfather sitting in his chair watching hours travelogues I have so many places around the world.
Watching your videos makes me understand why he did. I look forward to every new video that you make to see these gorgeous parts of North America.
I now know that the Appalachians extend into Canada. I live in the middle of this chain down in Kentucky. So I guess we are connected!
Check out the Scots-Irish documentaries on here, all about the appalacians
Can't wait to see your videos when you explore Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and maybe you can even get over to St. Pierre and Miquelon, which is a part of France, we're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!!!!!
Trooper!
"Seltzer guy...he's still a dweeb." I love how beautifully you portray our continent and the care you take with it along the way. You are an enlightener.
I cracked up when Slim daid dweeb.
Lovely to wake up and notice your morning video upload. Started my day right. Thanks for all the effort you put into making our lives better.
We camped there in ~1990. I see the forests around the park have grown back as when we were there the park was a square of green surrounded by a sea of clearcuts. This was one stop on our way toward Newfoundland, perhaps one of the best trips I've ever taken. Atlantic Canada rocks.

Appreciate all you do Slim!
So poetic, so peaceful, so enjoyable. Thanks

This was SUCH an incredible, refreshing pleasure!!! THANKS so so so much, Slim- as always!!!💐💐💐
I just spent the last week vacationing in southern NB (I'm from Montréal). Make sure you eventually make your way to Grand Manan island (just south of Fundy park). It's really beautiful, and even the ferry ride to get there is interesting (saw several Humpback whales).
Est-ce qu’il est venu au Québec
Slim...for a nanosecond I thought you'd gone to culinary school and hadn't told us yet...then came the look on your face after the first bite. 😂😂
Great climb. You deserved that tee shirt. I love trails, but those tree roots, real ankle poppers. 😳
There’s an old saying about graffiti: “Fools name, like fools faces, are often seen in public places.” Thanks for taking us along, Slim.
You’re a wonderful storyteller, Slim. We always enjoy your videos. Thank you! ~ Maria
Always a Pleasure to tune in to slim. With a world that’s turning upside down at this time, he makes my day.
I never thought I would be interested in videos of a random guy pulling a camper around and taking me with him. Alas, when a new Slim video comes out I drop everything and watch it.
These video's have reached the level of professional releases..... I consider these as professional as PBS (discovery level) releases.... I love them.... Doc
Exactly, he's right along side with Rick Steves and Huell Howser
This is a great video in so many ways - quality, scenario, narration. Thanks. I can appreciate the work that went into this.
This video was great medicine for me...Thank you. The beautiful video and pictures helped to ease some of my polio pain as I am lying in bed. I so miss my outdoor life. Thank you taking along.

Slim we always enjoy your videos. Beautiful vistas. That meal looked delicious, you got all the colors in there!
Just beautiful. That trail definitely is loaded with ankle-breakers. Thanks Slim.
One of your most beautiful videos! You had Me reaching for my rescue inhaler when I heard your breathing.😅👍🏼😘
Brings back memories when I was there. My old Aliner is immortalized on their reservation page in a photo of the site I booked. Liked the drive along the river to Plaster Rock.

As always, thanks for sharing your life journey!
Music to the eye, poetry for the ear, and food for the soul. Thank you! As far as the food, just add wine and Voila! French cooking!
Good one. And mostly true. They do focus more on sauces and would frown on bottled. Many of those sauces are wine based though.
What a beautiful View!!!
How beautiful this park is! I'll admit I've worried that you wouldn't be close enough to the lakes and mountains you love. No need. You've found it all in this park.

What a beautiful trail through the lovely white barked birch trees. My grandfather was a lookout ranger back in the early 1900's:)
Trail looks like a good place to break an ankle. Beautiful none the less. Thanks for taking us along.
Slim, what a slice of heaven! Thank you for taking us on this hike. Makes me want so bad to hike in Canada!! And honestly, that big smile on your face when you were talking about the mountains of the maritimes made my day!! Great to see you enjoying life 😀

Indeed❣️ The best videos-the best story telling at all the best places. Thank you

Seeing as how much you like mountains, we look forward to seeing you in the Cape Breton Highlands someday!
I don’t know what’s more disturbing, the graffiti, or the fact that someone would carry a can of spray paint that far with intention of using it for graffiti.
I try to think that that kind of stuff will turn out to be the petroglyphs of our time but...its not working too well.
Sad statements on the average human. Tossing trash and scrawling garbage on everything it sees. Somehow their parents failed to instill leave no trace in their little minds. Such a shame. But of course they know everything so you cannot tell them anything.
