GBL is broken, man. Every time I go back to it, it reminds me how broken it is. I understand, that the Pokemon Worlds Scavenger Hunt had to include GBL battles, but boy am I glad I didn't need wins to complete that step. you just cant keep 2000 shinies as new events comes and goes, eventually youre up in the 5000 shiny if youre a hardcore grinder.

Basically, once you’re rank 20 there’s a ranking system, meaning you have to win 3+ battles to hit rank 21 per set in order to rank up.
