I don’t like reading but still use Lingq religiously. Maybe that’s just because I see fluency as being able to read the language as well. Vocabulary building is necessary through reading as you know. I don’t think I would be able to see the improvements I’ve made in a language just by audio. Thanks for the video.
@@loistalagrand roughly 3+ years or so. I think the UI has improved a lot but still feels clunky at times. Started with beginner guided courses then imported RUclips videos and articles like yourself. Really love how it incorporates comprehensible input and I can use it like Anki for review sessions. I think it checks off all the boxes someone needs except for speaking/retaining conversations.
@@loistalagrand Spanish, German, and just started French. If it had to put a percentage on it, closer to half, maybe 60. I use other apps/self study practicing, and a weekly tutor for speaking. I’m trying to find other alternatives to Pimsleur if you have any suggestions! It’s helped my listening comprehension a ton but not a fan of the 20/month charge.
@@holdenmullaney1081 Honestly, I just use Anki with Migaku to make sentence flashcards from Netflix these days. I think I'm paying $5 per month: bit.ly/3CgVN3Q It's not the easiest thing to set up, but pretty fun and super effective. I made some videos about this last week.

Your English sounds native. Are you bilingual? I saw your reviews on a dozens of languages, did you actually learn them all?
