I came across Sharp after learning that there are now anti-coup books translated into Thai for current protest kick out military coup leader in Thailand, his self appointed assembly and rewrite a constitution.
He did build up something....How to effectively build a representative gov't. Creating freedom and unity of people where there was nothing but division and fear. He gave a tool to voice oneself in places of the greatest of oppression. I think you had better watch this again. He is not bitter. If he was I doubt he would empower people with his thoughts of a positive way to fight an ongoing struggle.
