@@alexsdg3441 Wow that's actually pretty messed up. Sorry to hear that happened to you. I'd be really upset at that. I bought mine about a year ago second hand so I didn't have a warranty. The movement has held up great for me, it stays within about 5 seconds per day. I did have an issue where one of the hour indices actually came off and was just rolling around inside on the dial. I got it fixed and haven't had any issues since. I saw a couple other people have had the exact same issue as I did, which I find to be an unacceptable QC problem for a watch that sells for $1300 new. Good choice on the Monta, I've really been looking into them but I can't justify spending the money right now. I really love the Atlas. Which one did you get?
This watch appeals to poor people like me who have dreamed since they were 12 years old of have a Rolex. Like the Pontiac fiero appealed to, well, some people who always dreamed of having a Ferrari and never will.
I say the Steinhart OVM 39 is closer to a Rolex Mil Sub at $500 USD. However, this brand doesn’t get much trash talk from Rolex fan boys (most keyboard fans don’t own Rolex) for some reason. Rolex homages are frowned upon, but not this brand for whatever reason. If I could find a old beat to crap 5513. I would have a watchmaker swap out the hands for some Omega Planet Ocean sword hands, and get an aftermarket full graduated bezel. It would be a keeper and the perfect homage w/out spending $150,000.00 USD
I wouldn't want to be affiliated with "Ginault" if I were you. It seems that "Ginault" is founded by Tsung Chi who is a known counterfeiter of Rolex watches in the past. So "hand-built in America" is actually built in China/Asia by people who counterfeit Rolex watches. Yikes! Disgusting.
No selita no eta ? does not justify the price. Invicta at lease makes the 9937 with selita sw200-1 some older models have sapphire crystals at a price point of 300 dollars.
Why would you spend $1500 on a rolex clone, theres tons of original high end watches at that price. If you get this, you might as well buy a $150 replica
@@BenArthur I don't think £700 for a straight up copy is worth it either. People will think its a rolex, then look up close and think its some cheap copy. Id say either go all in with the replica, or get something original. Even above £100 I wouldnt want some rolex copy with a different name.
Because it's not a clone, it's essentially a Rolex that people want (RN hands, modern bracelet, popular case design), but Rolex doesn't make, so people took initiative and built it. Makes sense, IMO.
well made Homage watch, but price is way too high. "hand made in America"? this is a joke because my watch maker tells me that the movement is Made in China which became very unreliable. Bad customer service and even worse warranty.
Ben Arthur in the close ups the skin above the nails looked like typical, rough “guy hands”. Didn’t know it’s dermatitis! A friend of mine has dermatitis, too, it’s an awful skin condition! Sorry for the joke, hope that condition isn’t affecting you too badly.
Now that Ginault has been exposed as Chinese "Rolex counterfeiter turned homage maker", what are your thoughts on the brand? Everything about it is a fake, even the "Charles Ginault" persona is fake.
I actually bought one.And got taken in by it all. But when I tried speaking to John was weeks to get a reply back. And other youtubers who have reviewed there free watches said they did not have that problem.when I said negative things about Ginault I received abusive texts on watch you seek. And I sold the watch shortly after as did not feel right with this homage replica
Beautiful and great looking. But..... uses a cheap Chinese clone movement. Should be no more than $500. Also when they say hand made in America they mean assembled.
Any proofs for it being made in the US? Ginault was z Chinese fake/homage watch company, so I find it hard to believe that it's now made in the US. My guess is that they write it down to justify their high prices. Who would buy an ETA clone movement for 1500$? You can buy amazing 2nd hand watches for this price and even new ones. It does looks amazing and seems like they have done some decent work on the visual aspects, but a watch starts with the interior. I'd go with the Steinhart.
Reading through the comments hilarious, people ripping on this watch for being homage and then suggest another watch that is a homage. If anyone thinks a Squale or Oris Aquis aren't Submariner homages, they are dimwits.
For everybody saying it's a copy, it is NOT a copy ffs! It is an homage with features taken from different eras of Rolex submariner. So it offers something different than straight up replicas. The new OR2 also has Sellita movements and a ceramic bezel (black and blue). Now if you complain about that ridiculous text on the dial, there I'm with you 😆
This is a foggy question when Rolex have ripped off earlier watch companies and ridden on their success . Blancpain seiko lots of others . Rolex was the genuine house of spies , its nice to see the smaller brands breaking through , heres to the underdogs 👍
$1000 for some unknown movment that hasn't proved itself with many years of service. If it was made in China this watch would sell for $299 max. Its $1000 because of the usa salaries. No thanks!

No email replies and no phone # to contact do not inspire me that Ginault is a good company... even though I like the watches and the fit&finish. Just don't like the people behind.
I guess that you never had any trouble, you will never know of their service or warranty matters. It is a good thing for you. if you are happy with the watch and it's quality, that is great. perhaps you got the good one while I got two lemons. thanks Alex.
Get a Tisell for $300. It looks the same except for the dial.
That's the point of frustration, if it was more like 700 it would be more viable for sure
Ginault is nothing like a 150 replica or a 500 dollar one for that matter. The quality of this watch is second to none
well made Homage watch, but price is way too high. "hand made in America"? this is a joke because my watch maker tells me that the movement is Made in China which became very unreliable. Bad customer service and even worse warranty.
The watch is really high quality but the care of your fingers is not 😔 Rough thumbs up for the review!
I can assure you dermatitis is nothing to do with a lack of care on my hands
Ben Arthur in the close ups the skin above the nails looked like typical, rough “guy hands”. Didn’t know it’s dermatitis! A friend of mine has dermatitis, too, it’s an awful skin condition! Sorry for the joke, hope that condition isn’t affecting you too badly.
Is it an actual chronometer as printed on the dial!??
It feels like you watched someone else’s video on the watch and didn’t understand it. Then attempted to regurgitate the information.
Omega is better
Now that Ginault has been exposed as Chinese "Rolex counterfeiter turned homage maker", what are your thoughts on the brand? Everything about it is a fake, even the "Charles Ginault" persona is fake.
I actually bought one.And got taken in by it all. But when I tried speaking to John was weeks to get a reply back. And other youtubers who have reviewed there free watches said they did not have that problem.when I said negative things about Ginault I received abusive texts on watch you seek. And I sold the watch shortly after as did not feel right with this homage replica
36€ Casio Duro ftw
how close can you get to a Rolex. Easy a noob v9
6.25 in wrist gang 😎😒😟😞
well... "naaaa"
nice watch but just get a seiko
I bought one, it is a great watch. Looks like a Rolex Submariner from the 1980's - at about 10% to 15% the price of a Rolex Submariner. Nice watch!
U had hair?!
Is a Rolex Submariner worth 10k would be a better question. The answer is NO!
I hope you keep your feet on the ground with the reviews now that you started rubbing shoulders with the big boys.🤔
Is this watch from wish
Just buy a super good quality 360$ Rolex copy!!
No one will notice the difference!
how it is compared to an original rolex.
Search ginault vs rolex on youtube
The watch looks just fine on your skinny wrist. 😂
Now if you complain about that ridiculous text on the dial, there I'm with you 😆
$1500??????? Seriously??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is a foggy question when Rolex have ripped off earlier watch companies and ridden on their success . Blancpain seiko lots of others . Rolex was the genuine house of spies , its nice to see the smaller brands breaking through , heres to the underdogs 👍
In my opinion this looks like a very cheap copy.
Not worth it.
100% Chinese watch from fake chinese person for 1000€? Great deal for sure)) )
It's an expensive copy. Steinhart will be a better choice for half the price.
This is a bullshit watch because the bezel is not ceramic. I can get a 904L sub replica for 550$ taht looks better than this
$1000 for some unknown movment that hasn't proved itself with many years of service. If it was made in China this watch would sell for $299 max. Its $1000 because of the usa salaries. No thanks!
Watches are all overpriced / hyped items .
