Anger is not only and always a request for power.
It may be a negotiating tactic to get more power, which is an offensive act:
"If you don't give me more power, I'll disapprove of you or become aggressive."
It also may be a warning to those who would challenge ones existing power, which is a defensive act:
"You aren't honoring my boundaries. This anger precedes me exercising the power I have."
As you and the Option team know, sometimes anger is the best way we know to hold a boundary, especially when we have low self-worth and boundaries don't come easy. i.e. "I'm not good at boundaries so I will construct a wall of anger and rejection toward you if you don't recede."

Injustice doesn't create anger anymore than not getting what we want creates anger. People create anger in response to injustice.
We can acknowledge injustice while acknowledging the best way to help solve it is not anger.

We need more words for anger. There is the natural and healthy emotion and feeling of anger but you don’t seem to be talking about that. Rather it seems you are talking about the choice to act out in anger. To get mean, ugly, and manipulative.

Anger is helping to give me a false and temporary sense of power. I know it’s wrong and that’s why I’m here.
