And for male Latin dancers than?
For Male it's the same...maybe you don't turn out your feet so much...But the technicks are the same for women and man
Thank you for your fast reaction, I shall try to try this in my Latin dancing.
Her foot is not 'slightly' turned out. It's a 180° turnout😁 great job, Anna and the rest. You're doing a great job.
Her leg and foot action is amazing

Hi Anna, good presentation! I loved it.
Amazing #latindance lesson! Thank you @dancetoday ❤️ #ballroomdance
🔥 #ballroomdance #ballroomdancing 🔥
Заметила что у девушек очень некрасивый первый палец на стопах,деформированный от всех этих позиций в стопах.А так обожаю танцы.
Beautiful demonstration! What are we supposed to do with big toe? Do we drag the nail of the toe on the floor?
Funny story: In a large practice studio in preperation for blackpool we would very often see little scrape marks all over the dance floor. It was nail polish. So long story short, try not to drag the toes but rather pull them into the little bit of suede left at the tip of the shoe. Otherwise you'll just have to do your nails again...life of a dancer 😂🏆😂
@@DanceToday Thank-you so much, that is a wonderful tip.
Beautiful control of leg movements...stunning shapes and lines
Thank you Maria !
Thank you so much! You're adorable!^^

I’m 32 and want to engage in Latin ball room dancing to keep fit. lol I can’t do gym 😂 I love to dance instead. I’m probably late to the party 😂😂😂
You can always start at any time ❤️ It’s a great way to say fit!
So so so so good ❣️❣️❣️ can’t wait to see more 😊

Dear Anna, Excellent video and you are an amazing dancer. In the second tip, do you mean to say that continue the standing leg rotation /knee rotation till complete weight is transferred to new step or even till the back foot now comes forward for the next step ? ❤
Yes, correct
Also, thank you so much ❤️
You are the best❤❤❤❤
Great tips!! But these tips, especially the first two, seem like they put a lot of strain on the knees?
They wont put much unless the dancers really strains the legs back. But again it depends on the look one is trying to showcase. In general its the aesthetic of the dancer which can sometimes "appear" a little excessive. hope it was helpful. thank you for watch & leaving a comment. Sorry it took me a while to respond !
no release of the hip in the forward walk?
She is more so talking about "when" it releases 👍🏻
You are the best!
That was super helpful, thanks :)
You’re very welcome ❤️

You are welcome Mira!
Thanks for an amazing lesson....!!
It is our absolute pleasure Kim!!!
Just attend a Runba class but seems I learnt more here instead. Thank you.
So happy to hear that we were able to help ❤️
Thank you for the video! May I ask how do I keep my legs straighten during the fast cha cha music? Because I felt like whenever I dance with the music my knees just bends naturally (lack of knee control)
Hi 👋🏼 Great question, without seeing yiur dancing the only thing I can reccommend is making sure you take smaller steps. Often, fast muaic makes us think we need to step larger as though we are running. In time your step length can increase but first focus on establishing full weight transfer with smaller steps. Hope this helps 💞
@@DanceToday Thank you!! Yes I'm always rushing and trying to make big step for the walks, which makes me diffcult to transfer my weight completely. I'll definetly work on it, thank you for the tips again! :)
Thank you
super helpful 😘😘
Tijana Filipović Very welcome! Thank you Tijana !
