    Dear Anna, Excellent video and you are an amazing dancer. In the second tip, do you mean to say that continue the standing leg rotation /knee rotation till complete weight is transferred to new step or even till the back foot now comes forward for the next step ? ❤

    Beautiful demonstration! What are we supposed to do with big toe? Do we drag the nail of the toe on the floor?

    • @DanceToday
      @DanceToday  3 года назад +2

      Funny story: In a large practice studio in preperation for blackpool we would very often see little scrape marks all over the dance floor. It was nail polish. So long story short, try not to drag the toes but rather pull them into the little bit of suede left at the tip of the shoe. Otherwise you'll just have to do your nails again...life of a dancer 😂🏆😂

    Great tips!! But these tips, especially the first two, seem like they put a lot of strain on the knees?

    • @DanceToday
      @DanceToday  5 лет назад

      They wont put much unless the dancers really strains the legs back. But again it depends on the look one is trying to showcase. In general its the aesthetic of the dancer which can sometimes "appear" a little excessive. hope it was helpful. thank you for watch & leaving a comment. Sorry it took me a while to respond !

    Thank you for the video! May I ask how do I keep my legs straighten during the fast cha cha music? Because I felt like whenever I dance with the music my knees just bends naturally (lack of knee control)

    • @DanceToday
      @DanceToday  3 года назад +1

      Hi 👋🏼 Great question, without seeing yiur dancing the only thing I can reccommend is making sure you take smaller steps. Often, fast muaic makes us think we need to step larger as though we are running. In time your step length can increase but first focus on establishing full weight transfer with smaller steps. Hope this helps 💞

    • @shimmerfireflies6534
      @shimmerfireflies6534 3 года назад

      @@DanceToday Thank you!! Yes I'm always rushing and trying to make big step for the walks, which makes me diffcult to transfer my weight completely. I'll definetly work on it, thank you for the tips again! :)
