That is one of the things that impresses me most about TY. He is so confident and encourages confidence, but he is not at all arrogant. I think that is a special trait that not many have.
taeyong's patience when teaching or helping his members makes me so so proud of him. Taeyong did not receive kindness from his mentors when he was a trainee, instead he got verbal abuse and being singled out despite doing well just bc they expect 110 from him. he'd get scolded publically and in front of his seniors while other members would be scolded in rooms on their own. it got so bad that he became quiet and would hardly talk as a trainee. The fact that Taeyong chose to break the chain of abuse and to be a kind teacher insread makes so proud of the man he came to be.

They also very obviously proud of his many talents. Taeyong even got into the list of 9 idols who are looked up to by other idols in 2020. He was on the 7 place, being the youngest and the latest to debut, among such legends like Exo, Shinee, TVXQ, Bigbang and Bts. Him, just 4 years into carier and with no solo promotions. It shows just how talented and impactful he is as an artists. It's okay to not love him or his style, it depends on your preferences after all, but please don't try to hate on him or downplay his abilities. We do love funny contents about Taeyong but I think we need to hype contents like this.: him showing his skills of being an idol- a dancer, rapper, leader, mentor, lyricists, composer- the ace. I guess we also need to promote channels like this ,of Limitless TY's, so fans and casual listeners alike will get to know Taeyong's artistry.
Taeyong as a mentor, teacher, leader of NCT validates that he is the pillar of NCT. He is respected by the members. He inspires them to show their best abilities. He is encouraging. He may have strictness but is approachable & encouraging. He is befitting of the leader mentor title.

I think they should make more videos of Taeyong's talent and strenghs showing him being a mentor and teacher and expressing his talents with NCT. That's what sm entertainment should do. I don't think he should be on some bullshit show because we all know alot of those survival like shows have made up drama for suspense or something and the last thing we need is the script to do something stupid to make Taeyong look bad. Example he tries to correct someone's dancing but the producer's edit it in such a way that with little or taken out of context it looks like hes being mean to the poor trainee etc.
What's ridiculous is that Taeyong himself didn't know anything about rapping, dancing, singing or songwriting until he was SEVENTEEN. That's a very late start in the music business, so for him to be looked up to by so many of his members and other idols is a testament to how hard he's worked to get to the level he's at right now.

Putting Taeyong as the first leader on NCT was one of the best things SM ever did, because the pressure of such position in a group that would have many members in the future made TY improve more and more and more, and his patience and kindness allow him to help, teach and give ideas to new members freely and clearly, giving them a good time and confidence while adapting to the group and the work and still have a great friendship with the others, not leaving anyone aside, it's truly beautiful to watch
whenever Taeyong calls himself "hyungie" you can just hear the fondness and love in his voice whenever he directs it to those younger than him (not saying he has less affection for taeil or johnny but its especially visible whenever he helps those who are younger than him), the patience whenever he teaches them and the huge smile and proud words or laughter whenever the members did an amazing job is what i will always love to see. taeyong really is such an amazing leader, hyung, sunbae, idol, etc. an amazing person to look up to.

Putting Taeyong as the first leader on NCT was one of the best things SM ever did, because the pressure of such position in a group that would have many members in the future made TY improve more and more and more, and his patience and kindness allow him to help, teach and give ideas to new members freely and clearly, giving them a good time and confidence while adapting to the group and the work and still have a great friendship with the others, not leaving anyone aside, it's truly beautiful to watch

whenever Taeyong calls himself "hyungie" you can just hear the fondness and love in his voice whenever he directs it to those younger than him (not saying he has less affection for taeil or johnny but its especially visible whenever he helps those who are younger than him), the patience whenever he teaches them and the huge smile and proud words or laughter whenever the members did an amazing job is what i will always love to see.
taeyong really is such an amazing leader, hyung, sunbae, idol, etc. an amazing person to look up to.

Taeyong is genuinely a nice person. He's helping his members not only because he's the leader, but because he really wants to help them. Even on interviews, he makes sure all members have screentime, he helps with choreography and makes sure that all members takes the center, he gives and gives and gives, I just hope everyone can see that.
Thank you for this video! Some doesn't really notice or appreciate Taeyong's effort. But this shows everything. He started as a blank page but now even new idols looks up to him. seeing this video made me wonder how he'd be perfect as a mentor for survival shows! I really wish we'd get the opportunity to see more of this side of taeyong, it's really pleasing watching him do what he loves and he's so good at it too. I'm in love with this man and I'm not even part of the NCTzen family, and I gotta say I didn't understand why is he the leader, since he is very humble. Now little by little I'm recognizing what a great leader he is, especially of 23 people! That ain't easy, I remember the 20 people in my class not getting along well but he can even makes them works as a musical group, INCREDIBLE!
