Got my varg 2 weeks ago and it’s insane ! Hard to explain to people how it can be so powerful and yet so smooth and easy to get power down . People shit on them in comments but as soon as they ride it change their tune real fast
Wouldn't be a proper post-ride review without motor sounds - 12:59. Awesome vid, great review, and always a treat getting to watch you shred on stuff 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This was so cool to watch. I'm thinking back to my first serious dirt bike, a brand new 1974 Penton 175, and the "quality" of recording while riding vs. what we're seeing here. Super stable video on a bike that makes my Penton look as obsolete as the film gear we had in the 70s. I'm glad I've lived long enough to see these electric bikes become serious. They could help save some tracks from being closed because of "noise" complaints. The cacti look like they'd not be a good thing to hit. 😁
That’s exactly my feeling and what I’ve been saying since mine’s been on order a little over two years ago. It’ll make a nice addition to my 25 gas motorcycles. 😂😂 And I definitely need to be more stealthy when trail riding around my house.
Subscribed. One of the best off road reviews I've seen of the stark. No BS, straight up comparison, nice work. The zippy sounds you make... LOL And it looked like you were floating. Inverted hammer, great description. Amazing that you, with a lot of experience, rave about the handling. That's big. Quite the first effort from those guys. I bet the power delivery helps. Crazy times. Oh, and the coyote and Jaguar comment was good. I have an Elk, Husaberg 570. Thanks.
Got a chance to ride one today. WOW!! I'm a huge fan now. It's just sooo good! The torque and keeping the front tire light over sandy, rocky whoops I don't know why, felt way easier? It's just a rad bike. Thanks for the comparison Max!
Crazy hey . I just got mine and done a few rides in trails and mx track . Thing things are bullshit good! Smooth as silk to ride . I think everything is easier with the gears and foot brake removed . Being able to lock feet and knees to bike and just focus on riding helps a lot !
100% agree. It would probably never be my only bike, but with my stark and my 300 xcw, I feel like I have a very fun combo, although I ride the stark probably 90% of the time now unless i need the range of a gas bike.
For fast Enduro stuff the 4 strokes generally like to go straighter. I think the theory is the engine mass spinning around makes it stay up better and go straighter. The 300 is good for slow stuff where you gotta move the bike around a lot.
Stark should already have a digital clutch feature! What's taking so long? For such a premium bike, the motor and controller should have the capability of precise output rpm control. I expect it has the ability to make significant output changes within a few milliseconds, meaning a simple lever and encoder signal could be used to digitally emulate a clutch an an ICE bike to absolute perfection. Opening an entire new market for them, technical riders! (guys that WANT a clutch!) Only technical limitation I can think of is the electric bike may or may not have the impulse power to complete with a high speed mechanical flywheel of an ICE bike when popping the clutch/ zapping.
In theory everything you said makes sense , but ride one first . No way I want a clutch on mine . Once you get used to it it’s so much better. I have hopped logs and done hard enduro trails and I was able to lift when over everything . I think only people who need a clutch are endurocross and extreme enduro riders
@@Jrod_FPV Well I heard him say iit😂😂I’m talking about people that are actually competing on them. Sure, everyone thinks it is initially a benefit because that’s what they are used to. Same with people thinking a hand brake is bad when it is actually good. With a clutch you lose the hand brake. Everything has trade offs.
Regardless of the bike dude is absolutely hauling the mail

100%. I’m a dirt bike lover so I’m biased.
God I wish I could be this confident in cornering !
It’s possible let’s get you there.
@@MaxGerston I’m open to suggestions

Rock on brother. Technology is truly incredible. Thanks for watching!

More dirt bikes! I like options.

Hell yeah dude! Stoked you liked it. the Husaberg 570 is an Elk hahaha. Cheers mate
@@MaxGerston FYI, we have spoke before, this is Kelly, used to be the marketing guy at Trail Tech / Polaris. Nice work bro, keep going!!!

Cheers mate they sure are incredible. I agree 100%. So easy to ride and loads of fun.

I felt the same, too easy to ride, fun, and hard to believe they are heavier.
@@weekendveterans yeah engine inertia is a real thing that’s for sure !
Test rode twice over here in Perth - agreed being able to lock myself in and focus on riding . Those that haven’t rode one just don’t know…..
You rode my local spot at Brushy Mountain. You’re a heck of a rider. Went through that prologue like nothing 👍🏻
I love it here at Brushy! Thank you bro.

That’s a nice combo. Dirt bikes are cool.
rode my eMC Supermoto on a awesome parking lot for 2 days 100 feet from houses - no one even knew I was there - was Great Fun
Yesssss I love that! That is why I am a fan.
Great review. Thanks.
Nice work
I’m super curious why you choose the 350 over a 300 2 stroke? Love the videos man

So sick
Stark looks way fun to ride but the sound drives me nuts! Ha 350 is the dream bike
350 is so good. Love it. The lack of sound on the Stark is cool too in a different way.

LOL Technical riders? They are riding full Hard Enduro on them. I'm sure you are much more technical 🤦♂

That's not your Endurocross bike, the shifter with the tip on gives it away...😂
The stark is not a bike that meets everyone needs and no ebiker understands that. They act like everyone needs one just because it has more power.
I haven't experienced that message from e bikers. But yes, they don't meet everyones needs, they create a new one.
I’m super curious why you choose the 350 over a 300 2 stroke? Love the videos man
I like both. The 300 for me is more of a hard enduro/exploration bike and the 350 is more of a trail/go fast bike.
