Jon Lord has always been amazing.
Where are the rocking Hammond tube organ players today?
We need them!
Just glad that Glenn got himself cleaned up and turned his life around.
... the anthem of the bolin era !!!
And glad Glen and John remained buds.
Rest in peace, Jon Lord, you were a great part of Deep Purple. Great song.
GOD BLESS ' Jon Lord ' may he rest in peace a brilliant musician.
My favorite song of Hughes/Coverdale Deep Purple
Jon Lord - The MASTER
Jon, we miss you. Thanks for all the superb memories and super music. RIP
The maestro mr Jon lord….. one of the greats never be another …thanks for all the music and all the years
What a tune! Glenn and Jon (RIP) fantastic!!
Glenn singing can be liked or not (i like), but no one can refused him to be amazing perfect bassist! Wow, just wow! ❤
Beside his voice, the Glenn Hughes bass playing is outstanding too...
Agreed. His bass sounds like a fucking avalanche...
I always loved his bass playing first and foremost, and his singing in second place. Very undereted bassist ❤
One of my all time favorites.
Amazing performance. Great version, this has a great relaxed soul lounge feeling in the verses and then explodes to pure rock power.
Life doesn't get better than that. R.I.P. Mr. Lord!
Thank you for the music!
First time seeing this live.
Purple made so many great songs, but this one is still my favorite.
The bass sound is sublime on this....
Glenn in the '70s and '80s was a machine-like cocaine and alcohol scavenger ... A British rock star of his caliber in Los Angeles/London had the best, highest quality, the most, and with an addictive penchant - he nearly killed himself. I find it amazing that, today, he can sing with a voice like God; or Gabriel's trumpets... Wicked.
He's a total gem
That was brilliant. RIP Jon - gone too soon man
I was there,so great to see Jon and Glenn hook up again.
Man, don't get better then this... A hand held cam, Mr. Lords and that voice.... That voice...
I just saw Glen live, playing DP tunes a couple of weeks ago. His voice is still amazing.
Nice to see the boys from Thunder in this video 😊
Jon Lord forever
The end is simply amazing. Jon with his finger is leading the orchestra.... GREAT PERFORMANCE!
I Miss Jon Lord!
That just put a smile on my face! Possibly the best version Ive heard!
Fantastic Vocals there Glenn.
Two legends of rock.
One musician never die. Jon Lord forever im my home Deep Purple and Whitesnake have Jon and your best hammond
It's too bad MKIII never reunited. I think it would have been a huge success.
Honestly I would have much preferred MKIII reunited instead of MKII. :)
Well why doesn't Ritchie contact them right now. Ian Gillan doesn't want any part so now would be the best. Maybe He could get Rick Wakeman to play
Steve Steele ... yes
there is a reason he is called The Voice Of Rock and swear it has gotten over the years
Glenn looks so happy bounding up with Jon
Woh great and incredible moment two masters join to revisited these classic unforgettable of Deep Purple and here are three instrumencts just the voice of Glenn Hughes complete the orchestra hard rock of first quality in love this energy liberate in this shows insuperable and every time a explosion of the best bassist of rock Mr Glenn Hughes show the way to shine
Bravo! Bravo! In this arrangement it's beautiful too. All the feeling and depth of the track are all still there.
What a special moment this is. RIP Mr. Lord.
This goes straight to my favorites. God bless, Jon.....................
The best part of this is the hammond solo and the bass during it....
Wow😮😮 quanto talento immenso 🙏
Deep Purple ...!!!!!!
\m/ HUUUGE tune man!
Dois gênios de uma geração. Hoje praticamente não sobrou nada.

"you put your arms around me, like a circle around the sun"
amazing, from the hart lyrics
the Voice of Rock and the Lord of Hammond
I was a huge fan of Trapeze, but the maturity of Glenn's vocal is outstanding. But when I hear him sing I still think of Trapeze.
One of the best RUclips videos ever

Class !!
yeaaaaaaahhh
I once heard that Jon Lord wanted to reform Mark 3 for a project or album, shame that didn't come to fruition before Jon's passing
+Rich Schneider I'd read that the initial Deep Purple reformation in '84 would have involved DC instead of IG.
That would have been interesting, wonder what lyrics David Coverdale would have come up with for Perfect Strangers?
Exelent musician's
JON fucking amazing LORD....
met him in Leicester in 1981 before a gig
with whitesnake....
Beutful voice
Super ❤️legend ❤️love ❤️🙏🎼🎵🎶🎸🎹🎤🥁✌️🍀👌🇮🇱
Fenomena the voice de Rock
Deep purple reuni
🥰😍🤩🤩🤩
🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have been to his performance in russian Khabarovsk city knowing only about some relation with DP, but didn't know that he is the very worthy alternative line up to the gold one.
That's a f bass player! And singer! In fact, it would be unfair not to mention Lord, Blackmore, Gillan and Pace in the above sentence. They are some of the best instrumentalists ever, and some of their works are between the most amazing, complete and complex songs ever!
....'' D I A M O N D ''..............................!!!
awsome . but oh how i wish Tommy was playing guitar ...
Yes! His guitar Parts are Perfect! One of the best blues Rock ever!
