If everyone just stopped fighting about which AM album is the best, maybe they can appreciate that every album is really good! Literally, if you read the comment section of any video of an AM song it's basically just people saying which albums they think suck and which ones are "good." Just appreciate the amazing music!
I don't get why it's so popular to hate on Suck It and See. There are so many underrated classics on the album, and the last 3 songs (Love Is A Laserquest, Suck it and See and That's Where You're Wrong) is my favorite 3 song stretch on any AM album. Not to mention it should be a crime they don't play these songs more live!!
This is by far my favourite AM album. I appreciate its a departure from the first 2 and a continuation of the 3rd, which alienated some fans with its more psychedelic sound and less grittiness. But jeez its just so intelligent and accomplished and I think Josh Homme's production work adds a nice element
Pussyfooting Setting sun Make a wish that weighs a ton There are no handles for you to hold No understanding where it goes Jealousy In technicolor Fear by name Love by numbers Streetlamp amber Wanderlust Powder in a Blunderbuss She looks as if she’s blowing a kiss at me And suddenly the sky is a scissor Sitting on the floor with a tambourine Crushing up a bundle of love Don’t take it so personally You’re not the only one That time has got it in for Honey That’s where you’re wrong All the old flames Fastened on Make a wish that weighs a ton There are no handles you can hold No understanding where it goes She looks as if she’s blowing a kiss at me And suddenly the sky is a scissor Sitting on the floor with a tambourine Crushing up a bundle of love Don’t take it so personally You’re not the only one That time has got it in for Honey That’s where you’re wrong That’s where you’re wrong.
Terrific finishing track to Suck It And See which is perhaps their finest album yet you know, incredible melody lyrics riffs you name it, The Arctic Monkeys have never failed to deliver greatness and they will deliver more.
You are siting on the sand. Its a cold summer evening. The sky is full of stars. You are there with this special person that has been on your mind lately. You guys talk about life, your dreams , your future , your past, about god and about universe. After that you just start playing every song by arctic monkeys and when this song comes out you star kissing each other, while listening to the waves
I love all Arctic Monkeys’ albums I can listen to them any time throughout the day, I love Suck it and See it’s an album you listen to when you’re driving on a highway with the sunset going down 🤩
"That's Where You're Wrong" A pussyfooting setting sun Make a wish that weighs a tonne There are no handles for you to hold And no understanding where it goes Jealousy in technicolor Fear by name, love by numbers Streetlamp amber, wanderlust Powder in a blunderbuss She looks as if she's blowing a kiss at me And suddenly the skies are sizzling Sitting on the floor with a tambourine Crushing up a bundle of love Don't take it so personally You're not the only one That time's got it in for honey That's where you're wrong All the old flames fastened on Make a wish that weighs a tonne There are no handles that you can hold And no understanding where it goes She looks as if she's blowing a kiss at me And suddenly the skies are sizzling Sitting on the floor with a tambourine Crushing up a bundle of love Don't take it so personally You're not the only one That time's got it in for honey That's where you're wrong That's where you're wrong That's where you're wrong
This is one of the Arctic Monkey’s best songs and continues a tradition of AM putting the best gem of each album as the last cut. Consider “A Certain Romance,” “505,” and “I Wanna Be Yours” and this one.
I'm struggling to believe people were disappointed with this album when it came out . Can you even call yourself an AM fan if you dont like this album , or at least the last three songs?
Very underrated, i remember listening to it a few times and thinking it was crap. Then i got a copy from a mate and put it on my ipod, listening to it a few more times through head phones did the trick. I'm hoping the same will happen with AM, plus i'm going to see them in three weeks !!!!
This is a very nostalgic and psychedelic to me, I wish more people would appreciate this more than humbug, by a lot of people this albums regarded as the worst album as it was there least successful album, but I listen to humbug and I just think to myself how fucking shit that album is, it’s decent compared to other rock albums but to an AM standard and all the albums they’ve made, it’s shit. This album is better than humbug and that’s not even a debate, there’s a lot of good songs on this album and in reality this is AM’s little brother, there’s a lot of aspect of this album that you can here in AM, you can tell in some songs the transition period between post humbug and into the arctic monkeys we know today. Singing is usually regarded in talking with hums and human made reverb in an American accent, mainly because most, if not all people sing in an American accent, so if you think about it, in humbug, FWN, And there debut, Alex Turner is talking not singing. that’s not a bad thing though, as FWN and there debut are the albums that every AM fan loves, there groovy, electrifying, and just make you wanna vibe. And there both some of the best rock albums in British history. But with songs like this one and The hellcat spangled shalalala (amazing song btw) Alex is in the way he usually talks, English accent. But in black treacle and brick by brick, it’s an American accent, so you can’t see the transition between there first 3 albums and AM. Also this song is one of if not my favourite AM song
@MrJamesNewton I agree, its that good, the thing is, people thought that they coun't write one better than dancefloor, but now they have, and i bet they can out-do this song too, it IS the arctic monkeyss, they are more than capeable!!
people don't seem to be able to differentiate between notes, this is not the riff from barely legal, it just sounds similar and has comparable timing, but quite obviously not the same

Can someone explain what this song is about? I'm in love with the overall feel of the song and I think it's about a girl who thinks the guy can never stop loving her but she's wrong.
I actually sings technicolor, but this songs verse melodie and drum rolls are alot like Coldplays "life in technicolor" chorus almost like they did it on purpose but I cant find anything about that....
This is one of their best songs, I wish more people would appreciate this song and this album.
most underrated album ever :(
Thank you! I knew I couldn't possibly be alone on this :')
Seba D. Couldn't agree more dude
yeah this is a good remix, skrillex did it better tho
+Reid Hein This album is not even half as good as the first three.
This is a song to play in the van going nowhere with the windows down feeling the wind.
roadtrip song.

Your completely right . The last three are amazing and tbh she thunderstorms and piledriver waltz are pretty good as well.
Dont forget Black Treacle & Reckless Serenade.
I always think that i’m the only one who loves this album the most.
For me it’s the most special.
The whole album is pretty amazing to be fair
The soundtrack of falling in love.
Can you explain more? For me it is more a split-up.
@@ER-st7fx and a heartbreak at last with some suggestions 😉
For me it sounds exactly like how I react to a girls affection, mostly by not knowing how to respond to it.
I self reflect on this but I saw yall points
This album has two phase for me. Falling in Love and Split Up.
Such an underrated song
TheDw9284 SUCH AN EASY FLIIGHT

From that perspective, AM alienated most of the fans. I think they make whatever music comes to their mind.
YES FACTS I LOVE SIAS WITH ALL MY HEART
This has become one of my absolute favorites.
Every time this song finishes I'm left with an empty but satisfied feeling I love it.
dON'T TAKE IT SO PERSONALLY, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE.. THAT TIME HAS GOT IT IN FOR, HONEY.. THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG!!
Pussyfooting

She looks as if she’s blowing a kiss at me
And suddenly the sky is a scissor
Sitting on the floor with a tambourine
Crushing up a bundle of love
Don’t take it so personally
You’re not the only one
That time has got it in for Honey
That’s where you’re wrong
All the old flames
Fastened on
Make a wish that weighs a ton
There are no handles you can hold
No understanding where it goes
She looks as if she’s blowing a kiss at me
And suddenly the sky is a scissor

That’s where you’re wrong.
thank you!!!
Wow, I always thought it was: “You’re not the only one that time’s got away from, that’s where you’re wrong.” Thanks!
It's so underrated as an album, it's fantastic!
Slowly progressed on me as I get older, this came out when I was 17-18 now I'm 26 and its slowly becoming my fab album
this is the best song arctics have ever done. what a fuckin masterpiece!
most summery song for me( don't know why)
Probably because technicolor
I know why. Theres no minor notes. Minor notes makes the song sad. This song has only 2 major notes.. major notes makes the song happy
1:32 FLOOR GANG
We are everywhere!!!
Glad to know that so many other people love this song as much as I do. Way too underrated!
The memories I have from this song...

This song hurts so good
Indeed. And this music is the best of all to me!
Just the thought about how lyrically and melodically genius he was back than , blows my mind about how must he be atm with the new album
Very underrated song! So good
This and AM are just amazing
This song gives me so much nostalgia idk why
An unrecognised classic!
Sublime!
A summer record, pure and simple.
That music makes me happy...
I do not see in any part of this song any guitar play that seems to be taken from Barely Legal. And I am a massive fan of both songs.
This is one of the Arctic Monkey’s best songs and continues a tradition of AM putting the best gem of each album as the last cut. Consider “A Certain Romance,” “505,” and “I Wanna Be Yours” and this one.
They cease to amaze me
My favorite music from suck it and see album
a very powerful whale runs to heaven
absolutely love this song. The drums remind of 'the locomotion' by little eva
CANT WAIT TO SEE THEM TOMMOROW :3
best song since a certain romance x
LOVE YOU GUYS!
I'm struggling to believe people were disappointed with this album when it came out . Can you even call yourself an AM fan if you dont like this album , or at least the last three songs?
Almost 80's. thanks!
Very underrated, i remember listening to it a few times and thinking it was crap. Then i got a copy from a mate and put it on my ipod, listening to it a few more times through head phones did the trick. I'm hoping the same will happen with AM, plus i'm going to see them in three weeks !!!!

I can't listen nothing of barely legal here...
+Marcelo Duarte never even occured to me, either, although now I see the lead guitar being slightly similar at times
barely legal, wtf?
Marcelo Duarte sounds nothing like barely legal, who says it does?
@miyaguin you're so right. Best song since 505
La canzone più bella di questo album
É Ai Que Você Se Engana
Enrolação
Sol poente
Todas as velhas chamas
Firmes

Can someone explain what this song is about? I'm in love with the overall feel of the song and I think it's about a girl who thinks the guy can never stop loving her but she's wrong.
love it
It was recorded in the Joshua Tree desert

I am upset! Why make "don't sit down..." and "suck it and see" as singles
When this easily is the best and most beautiful one!!!
thats where you are wrong,kiddo
This song is great and to think that it only has two chords E and A on it
I actually sings technicolor, but this songs verse melodie and drum rolls are alot like Coldplays "life in technicolor" chorus almost like they did it on purpose but I cant find anything about that....
@BeanzWarrior really really lucky, my glorious friend bought me a ticket :3
