I have always said that about Tampa Bay FL. There are so many people living here. There is overcrowding, noise pollution and light pollution. I have wanted to move away for many years now since I lost my husband. It is an overwhelming task to even think of the process by myself.
I get sad when I can't see the sky anymore. Every time I go out to look at the stars; I think about the ones I can't see. I hope we can introduce better solutions to keep light pollution to a minimum.

we exchanged the celestial with the man-made... really, we're out of sync with the dynamics of morning light and evening darkness, more so the seasons, could be the reason for many of our ails. wonderful video on many levels...
Hahaha I love that an astronomist got schooled by her daughter. I love the night sky and will never understand why street lights are so prevalent in less populated regions of the country and why they aren't at minimum motion activated
