@@nopurposeposting1548 i mean, its normal.. if his "usual" chatters 'streamsniping" him wouldn't make a difference cuz they'd be worse than him but if people from aoe start doing that i can see him quiting it very soon, RTS games 1v1 are the mentally hardest games to play i believe.

I love that xqc is playing this game. We need more people in our community. There's not much rts players (remaining) and younger generations seem to prefer stuff like moba over rts these days.

I have been saying this for years! Professional gamers have a gene making them good, not everyone can train to become top 100, you have to be born with the correct genes, same with sport athletes. It’s something to do with multi-tasking and speed of thinking. I have been a gamer for 30 years, started with all the first rts games and fps, i’m still average, i don’t have the multitasking gene, i’ve tried and tried to train myself in that field, never became higher than “gold lvl” in any game.
Just play it for fun and not look too hard into it.
I think the best way for new players to learn the game is go play the campaign the tutorials are pretty good and teaches you the fundamentals like place farms close to mills upgrade all that stuff

Its been 2 1/2 years off and on and i cant even make plat 1 but this guy goes diamond in a week? No matter what i do, practice, watch, learn, and play i cant get the hang of this....what the hell am i doing wrong???
Some ppl just different in thinking. Not everything can be forced. I would really suggest you looking back at your replays and also watch what the enemy does. And just try to look at what you made wrong. Maybe you need to transition to gold faster etc.

Initially (in previous video) the coach kept giving wrong info (like aging up using T on abbasid civ, telling him he has idle vils even though he's not, etc), hence giving bad first impression
Fortunately in this video the coach provides good coaching imo

I'm not sure if he does coaching. But if you really want to get coached there are many other pro players offering coaching. I know of Valdemar, Myriad and Giveuanxiety.
