Fittrip viper is little better. Xc900's breaks are not so good and the suspension is better in viper s. But, to get all this benefits you have to spend 1000-1500 more.

For those who're confused if u need best look n design and specs under 20k u can go for xc900. Or u can go for fittrip vyper rs (i dont recommend) which gives hydraulic brake and suspention under 25k. I will suggest cradiac storm for under 25k (Sry for luttapi Englis😜)

Fit Trip Viper S and xc900 are head to head competitors of each other. But the braking system is better in Viper S and it also comes with smooth hydraulic lock out suspension. So Viper S is always a better choice. But the cardiac xc900 is also good except for the mechanical disk brakes.
