Materials Needed
*102 - 4mm Rounds or Bicones
*7 - 3.9mm Montee Beads
*28 - 11/0 Seed Beads
*3 yards - 6lb or 8lb Fire Line
*2 - Size 10 Needles

After finishing I just opened a silver jump ring that I stuck through the top bead. The jump ring itself already is positioned in the right way and is big enough (8 mm) to let a necklace chain go through.
I already made 5 of them in different colours and different colour montee beads, but used everything one size smaller (3 mm montees), hence the 8 mm jump ring, than in your tutorial. They’re beautiful presents for a few ladies in my choir, I can’t wait to see the look on their faces!

I've also made a few for my pharmacists. Now I've been asked to make one for my son-in-law.

Thanks for a great tutorial! I just made a variation of this for my husband using 6mm & 4mm Czech FP embellished with 3mm Czech FP and 15/0 Toho seed beads instead of montees. He loves it and said it's the best Christmas gift he's ever gotten! I couldn't have made it without your tutorials :-D

that is very interesting i like working with wire the chIn mail thing I wish to winder in to the kumuhimo seen of Japanese wire weaving and that demonstration was dazzling beyond belief and for sure I want to know more being I like to use wire as my medium I only have a ton of questions

I made this cross it came out beautiful the thing my montees were not falling in place so took them off put seed beads in all the spaces where they fit its awesome beautiful. I made it with bicones and because I didn't have enough of any single color had 1 in orange ab it just looks priceless. I love your videos you take your time and show the work very clearly. Thank you for that.
my question to Kelly was can you do it using somethingelse besides montees ,so you made this using bicones instead? if so do you have a tutural i could see to make this cross? thanks from a beginng beader

I made beaded rosarys for some of my family members but I had to use a metal cross that was not even the same size & it looked weird they still liked them but I wasn't happy. if I would of known how to make a cross that was actually made of the same beads I think it would of been so much better looking. thanks for teaching this. can you use smaller beads instead of monties?

If you use size 4 crystals or bicones, shouldn't you have a seed bead in between so the bicone/crystal doesn't cut the thread? How would that affect the pattern?

I just made my first one… I love it.
Ater adding the last montee you state to tie your threads off, but don't mention how, is this just half hitch a few times on each thread or do you tie the threads together? Sorry, seems like a trivial question....but I want it to turn out right. :)
What could you use besides Montes, not crazy about bling?

can you substitute the montees for something else?
I've made crosses similar using seed beads and a 3mm bicone in the middle. You want the bicone facing up/down instead of side to side
