One of my favourite ones was the online chess game from an earlier season. Highlighting the extravagance of the rich. Talking about playing chess together, but both planes are flying to the same place and they do it online
What's interesting is that Jin Yang and Erlich didn't sign a contract, just agreed by word of mouth and Erlich could've backed out easily but held his word. Shows integrity.
@@hangeldiyevseovereklamajan915 If he denied it and /or blamed it on language barriere, his reputation would have gone untarnished. Especially if the other guy is illegally living free at his house for some time.
Erlich was the best character on the show. He and Jing Yangs hatred to each other was the best chemistry. The show and Jing Yangs character weren't the same after Erlich left.
The doctor in the show follows the great tradition of crazy doctors in some of the best comedies. Arrested Development had the literal doctor, 30 Rock had Spaceman, Archer had Krieger, Curb Your Enthusiasm had doctors Larry drove crazy, and now Silicon Valley had this dude.
That's the thing, they could make this show so much more interesting by writing the story so that they actually climb the corporate ladder and maintain their progress. There's a lot of antics that could be written into the show that way.
7:26 The funniest part of Erlich's fake Chinese is that it almost sounds like he saying the right thing in chinese. I heard a semblance of chinese that sounds like "you need to listen to me"
"humans are shit ...., he grimly does his work, then he sits motionless, till it's time he works again, everyone should take a page from his book" - Gilfoyle
Belson wasn't even entirely wrong about the 20 transcontinental flights. He destroyed Barker's career permanently, total and absolute victory which is well worth the cost.
Great post, thank you! At 13:23 to 14:25, I want to say, I AM SC's "Gilfoyle" here! (I never thought I'd say that, but I agree, & relate to his comments there!). :)
I just love that the very same traits that made them successful are the same reasons they cannot hold that success and every character lost riches and fame because of petty reasons
12:42 "Theres something called mansplaining, have you heard about this?" How to ask someone about something while in the same time demonstrating it in the case she doesnt know.
He says “Lightning ain’t gon strike twice” which of course he said the phrase wrong. Yes he’s saying if he has sex again than lighting can strike the same spot twice.
" for instance there's something called mansplaining, have you heard about this? we..(cuts off Moncica) Mansplaining is when and man condescendingly explain something to a woman that she already knows" Priceless!
Hoover making 20 transcontinental flights is the funniest part of the show to me
Yes sir
Unfortunately there is no other way to calculate time of flight and they were actually saving 28 minutes per flight in the long run.
All paid, who wouldn't like that?
Every time I see that scene..I appreciate his slightly unshaved beard
One of my favourite ones was the online chess game from an earlier season. Highlighting the extravagance of the rich.
Talking about playing chess together, but both planes are flying to the same place and they do it online
"It's a water animal." That line kills me every time.
ahaha I laughed so hard I cried
gawd dammit! so good. i had forgotten the context.
thanks for typing into youtube comments a joke from the show and telling us whether you laughed at it you dolphin
I eat the fish
The delivery is perfect
I love how Jared is beating Dan with his shoe at the end. "NO! NO! Stand down!" He's the real MVP.
someusername121 Jared always has your 6!
@@theweirick not anymore xd
Lolzz
That was way to funny
he is the one who fucks
every scene with gavin belson in it is pure gold
Richard: " I had sex."
Dr. : "Sex with What?"
Lol this show will forever be a classic :-)
Around 6:10 : "They say after Alan Turing was chemically castrated, he got a lot less annoying." 😆😁
"A female what...?"
The doctor(Andy Daly) is a great comedic actor he had this absolutely hilarious show on comedy central called “Review”
This and the literal doctor in Arrested development are one of my fav doc side characters
LMAO ..... the fake Mandarin tho HAHAHA
"That's not mandarin..."
"He's a stickler for the accent!"
He’s pretty good. Even just fake mandarin takes practicing.
I love the way Jinyang specifies that his grandmother died in a horrible way
Japan did a number on those little fellas
I too only smoke on special occasions
What's interesting is that Jin Yang and Erlich didn't sign a contract, just agreed by word of mouth and Erlich could've backed out easily but held his word. Shows integrity.
because reputation is important in business, more important than skills, fancy dress, luxury cars and a big mouth
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic

Oh I can explain this to you guys. It's just a satirical TV show. It's not real life. Hope this has helped you understand.
Erlich was the best character on the show. He and Jing Yangs hatred to each other was the best chemistry. The show and Jing Yangs character weren't the same after Erlich left.
honestly everyone was a great extreme in some way, and that's what made the show so good.
@@gronizherz3603 Yeah true but the show didn't feel the same after TJ Miller left/got fired. He had some of the funnier dialogs and jokes.
Belson and Ehrlich tied
@@xbrunnx true. A big miss for the show not to have him even in season 6 finale. I was really waiting for him to make an appearance
The show had an all round great cast but erlich is definitely top 3 😂 Richard is easily one of the worst characters for me
"That's not mandarin."
"He's a stickler for the accent."
Gotta appreciate how he just sticks with the gibberish mandarin.
I love how whenever russ pulls up somewhere he opens both scissor doors just for ego

Autism does that
that mansplaining joke was top tier
goddamn i miss erlich.
that mansplainingception was awesome.
17:09 Jared totally has Richard's back...now that's a true friend
Jared helping Richard from getting assaulted was hilarious! He really always has Richard's back.
I love how he checks to make sure nobody actually speaks mandarin before saying complete gibberish
I died when he said octopus and you could see the hope flash from erichs eyes
I’ve said this before: that focus group guy earns his paper every day of the friggin’ week. Consummate professional.
Gilfoyle is my favorite character. The banter between him and Dinesh is top tier comedy.
I was expecting the scene with Jared and the calculator. When he had to go into landscape mode just to get the numbers on screen....priceless XD
Best line "You see big head. His culture, chinese, wont allow him to accept outside help"
Hoover's almost blind and undying loyalty towards Gavin is truly off the charts
People like him exist in large companies. It's disturbing.
Erlich’s existential, quiet “no’s” get me every time.
"Every sound is $16,000"....*ding* *ding* *ding*... FFFUUUUCCCKKK!!!
Never got bored of Dinesh saying it.... Hahhah

Andy Daly is SO FUNNY in all of his scenes !!
That doctor 😂
Hit me up 🤔
Jared at the end absolutely made it for me LMAOOOO This was a great show!!!!
This could have killed me,now I can give it to Eirlich😂😂
Insane that season 4 didn't hit a million views on one episode. I betting season five will be its last
Moi's Med Danesh's "girlfriend" will find out that he ratted her out twice and screw them up big time.
It might be
I think the repetitive nature is getting boring (the whole rich then poor theme for 4 seasons is lame)
That's the thing, they could make this show so much more interesting by writing the story so that they actually climb the corporate ladder and maintain their progress. There's a lot of antics that could be written into the show that way.
6 is the last
Barker giving everyone elbows is hilarious.
Sometimes you feel sympathy for Gavin. Part of this show's brilliance.
Season 4 is so underrated.
It's my favorite season!

"A female what". 😁
TJ Miller leaving the show because of his ego was the biggest bonehead move in television history.
yeah he was a good character too
I had almost forgotten how funny Andy Daly was as the doctor
I always remember him as Andy's little sister's boyfriend, from the Conan Obrien skits. 😂
