So much hopium going around that Chelsea won’t win the league. Every year I listen to these preseason predictions and 90% of people predict Arsenal or city or Utd win the league - and they finish 3rd,4th or 5th 100% more often than they win the league. I heard someone say that Arsenal would progress further than Chelsea in the UCL! That’s looking like a great call! They’ve got a higher chance of not making the group stage than making it further than Chelsea.
@@goldboy150 I get you... and I guess you're still wrong but about the 100%, unless you're choosing an arbitrary cut off in years or only talking about utd, or you don't know the full history of the WSL. Arsenal's won 3 times, last in '19, and City was champ in '16. Even Liverpool's won twice. Chelsea's unbeaten streak began this decade and the WSL started in 2011, my guy.
Make that top four. I see no reason to believe that Man United will finish below this sorry Arsenal lot. This team is as frustrating as it is embarrassing, and the worst part is that they just keep doing what's clearly not working.
Y'all need to admit that Chelsea is the best team in WLS, they're consistent and they can handle the pressure. Let's see if City or Arsenal can do the same if they go further in Champions league. They're one of best 3 in Europe. Barca are the team to beat in WUCL i believe Chelsea can do,last season they came close.

Arsenal and Man city are good and may give it a go. Chelsea are still the favorites and the team to beat. But would love a new team to win it this time esp after man city missed it by goal difference.
The NWSL is the most competitive league in the world. From year to year any team can win the league. The WSL is a three team fight for the top with a couple of outsiders trying to get in.

The NWSL's newest team (Boston) has just had $100M invested in it, Brighton, Leicester, West Ham combined have not had the kind of investment. The NWSL is miles ahead of the WSL and the gap will just keep increasing as the bottom nine mess about treating like they are doing at Man United. It's sad really.
I agree it's probably the most competitive but I don't think it's the best football though. I see the WSL as a chess game with NWSL more like draughts/checkers. But I am still learning the nuances of the game so I've a long way to go.
One of the panelists says she thinks that Liverpool's Matt Beard might be one of the best and under-rated managers out there. All I know is that he sure is the LOUDEST!!! He seems like a lovely guy (from what I've seen in interviews) but I really wish he would stop yelling at his team from the sideline. I watch WSL matches online/on TV (from NZ) and Matt is so loud that you really CAN hear him from the other side of the world!!! 😂 I don't know how his voice lasts the distance but he keeps at it for the full 90. It does my head in as a viewer and it must drive the players (on both teams) nuts.
