Still one of my favorite performances
I danced traditionally for years when I was younger, and tried tribal belly dance for a 6-7 months a few years ago, thinking I could pick it up fairly quickly. Boy was I wrong. There is no faking it in this dance form, every single muscle articulation is purposeful and knowing. These ladies make it look easy, but it really isn't. So I see this now, how perfect and articulate the dance is, it blows my mind.

I've probably watched this 20 times and kits just so organic and natural to both of them. Both Zoe and Kami dance it like themselves with individual style and flare. This is one of my favorite routines ever.

love how they dance. especially with doing the "classic" moves.. it almost wakes up all bellydancers and kind of reminds us of the basics/classics and to never forget that in our own practices no matter how far from classic/basic we get..in a sense..
Love both these gals so much in their own right. Pure joy to see them together.

I know! And so many would-be belly dancers with no dance background see this style and want to get straight into it, not realising the conditioning behind the muscle control. But it is wonderful.
