Great boards, the new one looks great also, as the range on the stoke isn't the best, there is something that you can improve though drastically...... iblike doing manuals also and The bash guard gets worn down past the bolts in literally no time. Why dont you sell plastic covers that clip around the guards on the top and bottom pole, very easy to do, then supply replacements, tht way theres no way the bash guard gets ruined

beautiful, but would love to see this with reversed motors or direct drive motors as that would completely open up the tail here... As it stands you could not pop the tail as you would just hit the bash guard.
standing up on a 90% angle isnt needed with eskate. u arent gonna flip trick it so its not needed. with dkp, u cant fit the motors up front. But the bashguard only hits when u get close to that 90° angle and thats its job. it can still manual, go off curbs, and snap up the front to get over imperfections.

@@esk8unity good to know, it just feels wrong to have the motors that way around when the deck has a tail - I have a gtr and make sense on a longboard. I have the unlimited x loaded kit on an omakase and while it's hub motors it's fully functional if I ever wanted to Ollie it... 😀

Can it be customised and lightened?
Everything is great, except cable management. Those pvc motor cables come off the clip holders easily and rub against the spinning motors and melt. I thought Evolve would update this issue with this iteration. Anyone have this issue with their Stoke 2?
Does it still use a travel battery ? Can it be taken on a flight?
No, we gave it 50% more range but it is compatible with the travel battery which you can get as an accessory.
Oh I love it. But getting this on top of my Hadean will have me doing the dishes and copping guilt trips for the next five years.
Worth it though...

Hey Evolve - in WA we have a lot of boards getting crushed by the police for being *capable* of going over 25kmph - even if you set the remote to limit to that speed. Any chance you could release a "WA legal" firmware, that would be acceptable to the police, here, so there's no risk of having your board seized?

The deck looks awesome but the top speed and range are both pretty disappointing for the price. Also I can't seem to find the battery configuration and cell used anywhere on your site, all it says under specs is Lithium Ion with Custom BMS. 36 volt, 216 Watt Hours. Almost every other board maker provides exact specifications down to the specific battery cell brand, type and configuration and the fact that you don't provide this, apart from feeling pretty shady makes me think that you are most likely using a cheaper/shitty cell. The molicell p42a and samsung 50s are the gold standard right now for eskate and one would think that you would want your customer to know that you are using a well known high quality cell... So the fact that you purposely withhold that information especially given your "premium pricing" does not bode well. That being said, even on your other boards you at least list what size cell and the configuration, if it is 12s4p or 10s4p (kinda crazy that you are still making anything with 10s though). I like the look of this and the hadean and a think your remote looks sick, although I ran into someone riding a GTR the other day and he said he hated the remote because there is a different trigger for acceleration and brake, I think it was an OG GTR though so it may have been using an older remote, idk if you have changed that. He also said there was no reverse at all which I thought was crazy.
I don't mean to be a hater. Like I said I really dig the deck and the lighting looks sick but 216 watt hours is nothing and for the price your asking I would have liked to see a gear drive or maybe direct drive but preferably geardrive. I think you guys make decent boards but I think they are just far too overpriced and under specked. I also really don't like that you do not say the exact battery cell that you are using when the battery is such a major component and not something that you want to cheap out on. Speaking of withholding information, it would be nice to no how many amps the ESC is able to put out, under specs this is all you list which really tells nothing except that you will be able to customize acceleration curves: Evolve Custom Dual-Motor Driver, FOC motor commutation, Bluetooth connection & adjustable acceleration curves. What about breaking curves? Again I really am not trying to be a hater and I genuinely think this looks visually very nice and really like that you guys have designed your own remote, again I don't know if that guy I ran into had an old one or what but I haven't tried it so I can't say anything one way or the other although I can't imagine not being able to reverse, but $1100 is insane especially considering/assuming you are likely using some cheap battery cell. There are so many good, well priced boards out there from reputable companies that aren't afraid to provide the full spec sheet. Having a smaller battery like this can be nice to keep the board light and the price down but for $1100 I should be getting 2 of these lol. The deck is super nice and again i really like the lights. I'm personally looking for something with more range and power but would love something like this as well and would probably consider it if it was priced closer $600-700 to but like I said there are just so many more affordable and imo better options out there and again I just think its really shady to withhold specs like the battery cell and for a company that likes to think of it self as premium and certainly prices themselves that way you should be using either the molicell p42a or samsung 50s. If budget board makers can do it than there is no reason you can't too. Even if you were using the 50's I still think the board should be no more than ~800.
I have been hoping and looking forward to you teasing a successor to the Hadean even though it will probably be over my budget :( Honestly though I don't know if I see myself ever getting an evolve even though it was at the top of my list back in the day when I got my boosted. I think that more competition and innovation is good and will hopefully push the "sport" to new heights but right now you are selling the hadean carbon for $2225!? How many years ago did this come out? and it only has a 12s4p battery of some unknown, probably cheap/shitty cell! Pricing and saying that you are premium does not necessarily make it so. I hope that you guys keep putting out boards and are more honest and forthcoming about the specs and components used and I hope you price and spec them mire realistically in the future. I just want to say again I do think this looks nice, I just wish it had a slightly bigger battery, you guys were upfront and honest about the components and that it was about $400 cheaper.
Hey @l3rlc, thanks for the constructive comment! Sometimes people in the eSkate world are quick to judge a board by its range but we simply do not believe more range means better board. Yes, it's an essential factor but with more batteries come more weight, a bulkier construction, a higher price tag, and it starts to impact just how good a lightweight board can handle. When it comes to the Onirique, 216wh provides more than enough range for you running errands, shredding to clear the head, or last-mile transport, while still being an insanely carvable little unit. If you need to ride 30+ miles, this is not the board to choose. As for electronics specifications, we don't list our manufacturers for numerous reasons, but ensure the best options are in the right boards. The Hadean is running the Molicel p42a's you mentioned, while the Onirique utilizes a Samsung battery unit.
