Great video! We just booked our vacation package for December. With the conversion rate it ended up being $2100 for 2 nights/2 adults for Disneyland Hotel. I honestly didn't price out hotel/tickets separately but figured since this is our one trip and we REALLY wanted to do Fantasy Springs it was well worth it. The other premiere passes to attractions like Baymax/Belle/Journey just make it even more appealing from a stress-free perspective. One tip I'd have is to book via the TDR app instead of the webpage! I was on my PC browser and my TDR app simultaneously and was able to fill out all the options and successfully check-out on the app before I was able to finish putting my options for day 2 on my PC. And this is AFTER I got through all the loading of options on PC the night before just to have it hang on the "you need to log in screen" for 2 hrs before erroring out. Lesson learned on that front. Wanted to share in case this helps anyone else. :)
It was our fourth day at the parks June 6 for our vacation package. We got into the park at 11am and was able to ride all the FS twice and it was a breeze (other than all the walking back and forth as we also stayed at Toy Story). As we headed straight onto our second time riding the rapunzel ride my husband said “well this is what a small fortune gets you”. So yeah, it was worth the money for sure.
the cast members seem beyond extraordinary here! Everyone seems so happy and excited. One of these days Tokyo, I will visit you... I swear I will. This package seems like an amazing deal as well.

Side note: If I remember correctly, the interior of the restaurant at TDR's Camp Woodchuck was faithfully replicated in a later episode of the stellar 2017 "Ducktales" reboot (I think it was Season 3, Episode 1: "Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks!"). Keep up the great work!
Hey Tom glad to see you enjoying yourself. Make sure when you go back in July and August stay hydrate and find areas with shade during mid-day to afternoon away from the sun. It gets extremely dangerous hot and humid in Tokyo during these months as temperatures sometimes reach close to 40 degree C, hope you stay healthy and have fun!
I sat in front of a child having a core memory experience on Tokyo Big Thunder whne we went last week. Felt bad, so I complimented his bravery in broken Japanese after the ride and gave him a high five.

Idk TDR to me has always been very hit or miss for English speakers. I’m fluent in Japanese so generally I just use the JP site but I always found it fascinating that the English site is still missing a few things here or there. You would think with the recent interest and in flux of foreigners they’d prepare for it but I guess not. Also the TDR app feels substantially better to use in Japanese imo, it obviously was designed with JP in mind first.
The vast majority of the people in the Disney parks are Japanese. I know you have been there just stand anywhere and look around maybe 5 out of 20 are Western tourist.
For the unlimited drink i think its meant to stop people picking up like 3 drinks and then using them unlimited, so like you can have 1 Cup per person but then refil as you want - im commenting before watching the rest of the video obviously
Regarding your comment about the TDL Vacation Package being around $1400.00 and that being expensive, I just looked up a 1 night room stay at the Contemporary Resort at WDW with two days of park tickets and it costs $1734.00 for 2 people. I do not think the TDL Vacation Package with all of its perks is too expensive. I just booked a 2 night stay at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel with the Vacation package for October for 2 adults and it was $2400.00. It was quite a challenge though just to book the package, you really have to do your homework!
Guests staying in the Fantasy Springs hotel can buy this special ticket separately, so in the end everything will be quite cheaper than a vacation package, but good luck finding the availability.
@@WDWNT In our case it was ¥120K for the Fantasy Springs Hotel + park tickets vs ~¥200K for a package in the Toy Story Hotel. While packages include some bells and whistles (which I don't really care about,) their cost is basically included in the total cost.

Did you leave it at the Toy Story bell desk and then come to Disneyland or did you leave it in lockers at Disneyland?
I remember when the VP came out hardcore fans were up in arms over it being pay-to-win. a lot of this mentality is why so many attractions are lottery based in TDR. That being said, we have shareholder tickets so was never worth it. pretty easy to get a reservation to FS hotel if you know some tricks, so looking forward to that this July.

The package may be expensive but this about the regular general admission is half the price of the ticket here in Florida. We are going in November and we have bought the package

1:10:12 What!!! so im staying FS hotel 2 nights and toystory hotel on my last night.. im doing land, sea,sea with the all-you-can-ride vac pac... you are telling me on my last sea day, i cant go through the FS hotel to exit to the other side to easily reach the toy story hotel? i have to go all the way back to the Italian port and take the monorail just to get to the toy story hotel?
The only thing that gets me about the tinkerbell ride is where are the fairies??? Have one for each of the areas projections/animatronic I don’t care but I promise you my 5 yr old would comment on it

When do you actually get your vacation package? Is it the day of your first park entrance? Because yes, aren’t you going into the park late?
You can go to the Welcome Center before park open or even days in advance, you can go to the hotel and get your package items before you get a room
The drop is definitely much shorter on their Splash. I Was shocked when I rode it. It’s Less intense just as is their Tower of Terror.
