My little sister told them that at school, her teachers call her class noodles because they don’t have a specific gender (as opposed to saying “boys and girls” or “ladies and gentlemen”). This is because one of her peers is non-binary, and the teachers want everyone to feel included. It’s a small thing, but I just thought it was so cute (so did my cousin).
