Glass Wings Episode 1: The Princess Arrives

- With the arrival of a new princess means a crystalling must be held. After the mishaps with the last one, the royal family is taking all precautions to ensure it goes smoothly. Meanwhile, little Flurry is excited for the event and for her sister, but there's a problem, she hasn't really seen her much and her parents won't tell her why. That won't stop her from preparing for the celebration or her gift for her new baby sister.
Glass Wings is an mlp audio drama musical series that takes place a few years after Flurry's crystalling while also being set in its own canon. It aims to answer the deceptively simple question of, "What does it mean to be a princess?" Join Flurry and Crystal as they go on their journey to find the answer!
I just want to thank again the cast for all their amazing work. It's thanks to them the episode is what it is and came out at all. I'm so proud of all of you and look forward to the magic we make in Episode 2!

one word: AMAZING! This is a really good, but often not explored premise about what being a princess is, how it is more than being born into it and how hard it can be. Great job, and I hope to see more of it in the future. And I'll admit this right now, I was and still am a lot like Crystal here, so I can't wait to see her in more episodes.

I really enjoyed watching the episode, and i love everything about it both the art and voice acting was just phenomenal, major kudos to all the talented artists and VA's that participated in the making of this episode, and i look forward to episode 2!!!

Why do I have the feeling Flurry Heart is going to become resentful?
like, continuing my thought process a year after: I, unfortunately, see Cadance and Shining Armor as the type of parents to neglect Flurry, even without meaning it, for the sake of focusing squarely on Crystal Essence and her needs. couple that with the fact everyone is basically afraid of her, and that builds resentment.
it would be really neat for this audio drama, if it'll be continued, to touch on how situations like this can lead to one or both of the kids being failed by their parents in some way, and how , if things aren't corrected failing your children can lead to irreparable harm. it would be poignant to speak on parent's imperfections, but also on how imperfections are not excuses. and how alienating the non-ill child just to focus on the ill one, regardless of the intent, is still wrong.
I think my brother did once I was born, as I was born sickly like Crystal.
Loved the VA's and artists work! So excited to see the future of this audio drama!

I already connect with Crystal. I too was born sickly. I got better, but then as an adult my condition worsened. Yet I feel like I'll connect with Flurry too. I'm the oldest of three girls, and the second of five overall. I'd do anything for my sisters, or my brothers.
I have a feeling flurry is gonna be some sort of villain which that would be cool. Hope episode 2 comes out.

Just try and be patient, personal life is a thing, and it takes a long time to get something running like this, especially with Conquest as their episodes are like an hour long. It takes a really long time to organize all that and edit. As well as getting a whole community together to work on a project, everyone in that project has personal lives, just try to be patient and understand that everyone behind scenes want the episodes out too, tho they just need time. Especially since they are working on two audio dramas. I understand you want episodes to come out fast, but to get high quality videos for everyone to enjoy, we just need to wait patiently.
