I'm guessing Sun and Moon were originally supposed to be Comedy and Tragedy with each performing their genre on stage before they were corrupted with the Glitchtrap virus and became darker versions of themselves: Mania and Paranoia.
Not that it really matters, but part of me really wants Kellen Geoff to pull a “bad cop” with the voices. Liam Neeson, who played bad cop in the lego movie, did the scene where he switches from good to bad over and over again in one straight take, swapping between the two voices. I bet Geoff could do the same for sun/moon, even though its not absolutely necessary. Imagine he just randomly switches between the voices when talking with no warning.
I wonder if Moon was a good person originally, before the virus. Because it's hard to imagine that being intended from the start, even just for the theatre. Curious if Eclipse will be friendly or not.

I think the Eclipse (E) was the og attendant (after Foxy, according to your theory), that was happy and energetic during the day, but at night more calm and focused on putting kids to sleep. But when Vanessa stepped in, bringing the William Afton Virus (WAV) with her, everything started acting up, and the virus separated Eclipse, with the Sun and Moon (S&M) duo we know now. And since they are 2 different entities, M doesn't need to worry about S in it's head going "HEY DON'T HURT THAT KID" and ends up being as violent as needed to kids to put them to sleep with, and doing it no regrets. They're just doing their job now. But cranked up to the max. And since the FazWorkers were not able to fix this, they just got like "look man I guess we're just gonna roll with it" and put the duo in. And that's why when Cassie reboots the attendant, it's not just "hey, Moon is gone!", they get rebooted into their og state, E. And since M ended up "taking the full blow of the reboot" we just hear S stepping out of the E "Persona" for a bit to thank us. Yes, since we rebooted that wasn't supposed to happen, but I guess the WAV is just so strong that it can endure a full blow of a factory mode reboot and keep the changes it made. It may be the remnant of the WAV but that's deep lore crap and I'm just doing my work as a fellow theorist... a game theorist. Thank you for reading.

Oh damn dude. Everyone is drawing a connection between Cassidy and Cassy. Between Princess Quest and Ruin. What if they're not parallels. Remember the time traveling ballpit? What if the Princess Quest arcade cabinet is showing future events. Like its a time portal allowing Gregory in his time to interact with Cassie in her time. When she hears Gregory calling for help, she's hearing him in his own time, in Security Breach talking about being trapped in the pizzaplex.
I think they are meant to be a parallel, but not meant to literally be the same character. Kind of like Edwin being a parallel to Henry. They are similar, but it doesn't mean it's an alternate universe, Edwin and Henry are two distinct charactrers in the same timeline.
It's pretty scary too realize that Sun is fully sentient and aware of alternate personality,or Sun was told his other side was bad so he's scared of him coming out

My current theory is over time suns code started to fracture giving less control to him and more to moon and as the pizza plex lost power and moon gained full control until you the player turn the lights on causing the fractured suns code to try to take control but the fractures in the code made it to weak to then the reboot happens the codes of sun and moon are repaired but.. some of it had merged causing eclipse to form my legs to stand on with this is that sun says thank you giving a clue the the og 2 are still there
Just one theory you can answer is, another reason why I think Roxy is going to be the main antagonist in security breach ruin is because the logo has red, and purple. Just like the main colors of Roxy. Even the trailer has a lot of Roxy. So that could mean that she will be the main antagonist.
