That's sun life stadium. Football stadium bro. Most of the "outfield seats" either arent available due to the way they convert the stadium, or just aren't desirable. Take that from a Marlins fan. Put into perspective that the Marlins don't get the kind of hype Yankees or Dodgers due, and you have a mountain of unused seats. Marlins- 17 years of existence when this was posted. yankees? at least a century. These days, 2014, Marlins are in a much better place. Sad to see the way Dan Uggla has turned out as of late.
As a Marlins fan Bruh, times get tough. but yeah, at the end of the season I am satisfied! not by a losing record, but by the effort the players put in. Hutton and Waltz embody that charisma every game ^-^
Braves dropped him for tommy Lastella who was playing better and batting better. Giants signed a contract with him bc Marco Scutaro was injured, we did't even get a hit with the ten games with them. Giants sent him down to the lowest in minors for now.
Uggla made the mistake of leaving his wife for a porn star and expected everything to be peachy-keen. Porn star ended up leaving him for much of what he's worth, he invested heart into her. So the last couple years have utterly wrecked him as a ballplayer. I hope he recovers and gets better - hopefully ends up with the Marlins again ^-^ "And his name is Dan Uggla"
If you have a billboard of a car/truck out in the stands, and a player hits the billboard on a home run, the player should win whatever car/truck is on the billboard. :)
I know from experience hanging knuckleballs are the best to hit. Easy to identify, typically up in the zone, and slow. That's really the best pitch to hit IMO.
Reynolds used to hit absolute shots. Kind of reminds me of how far Stanton hits it now. He's one of those hitters who's average home run distance and speed off the bat was always very far and fast.
I hit a ball that went down the third base line, over the fence, crossed 6 lanes of traffic “by crosswalk of course” down the Westside Highway Through the Lincoln Tunnel “through the EZ Pass lane”, Onto 3West, then Over the River and Far Away!! And did I mention I was in the 3rd Grade. My Coaches Measured it at 16.9 miles
oh yea my 4th grader hit a home run over the center field wall over the river and through th woods and broke grandmas front passenger side window of her 1959 buick skylark which she drove to florida. an a Home Run estimated at 1800 miles. Get the fuck outta here dude.
My favorite swings and stances (no specific order): Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Adrian Beltre, Tino Martinez, Frank Thomas, Mark Big Mac McGuire (spell check!), Edgar Martinez, Edgar Renteria (spell check), me, Yasiel Puig
When I was in the second grade i hit a home run over the left field wall then it rolled on a golf cart path and ended up in a homeless persons shopping cart. We measured it at 1264 feet!
Will your right bj upton doesn't, his brother Justin.. The one in the video ranks high on the list of best swings in the mlb.. And I agree Griffey does have one of the best!
1) the beginning of the video, it's an aluminum bat. Considering the density of Aluminum compared to Oak, or Ash Wood bats, it's a joke to be hyped about a hit like that. And 2) cycle? Is that referring to the process of getting a single, double, triple, and home run in a single game by one player?
Dominic Bianchi 1) He was a freshman in high school, a kid. Aluminum or not, that is a bomb. 2) yeah thats a cycle, but the point of the homer was that it was in to the upper deck, a bomb.
Nice collection, enjoyed every one, but... What about some vids of Encarnacion's chicken wing? Where is the love? And J.P. Arencibia's first pitch in the majors, sent bye-bye into the stands in left field. Okay, what has he done lately, but it was still a thing of beauty.
It went over that tree. Which one? That green one.
😂😂😂
yes
+Michael Ellis jjjisjdjozhdhdj
+Michael Ellis hsudududhshejwj
That's not what she said
harpers homerun rolled for a good 80 feet but the fact that he was a freshman in high school doing that is absolutely ridiculous
Almost embarrassing to see those empty seats during the Uggla highlights. Never seen so many empty seats at a ballgame!
Me neither..its embarassing

Ikr that never happens at AT&T park luckily!
I guess you've never been to a Rays game
This aged well
His name is DAN UGGLA.
Hilarious home run calls.
Absolutely love the Marlins Announcers. Tommy Hutton and Rich Waltz make the Marlins enjoyable to watch regardless of their record.
I love those guys even though I'm a Phillies fan. They have fun calling the game despite how bad the Marlins were
As a Marlins fan Bruh, times get tough. but yeah, at the end of the season I am satisfied! not by a losing record, but by the effort the players put in. Hutton and Waltz embody that charisma every game ^-^
0:16 "It Went Over The Green Tree"
when the ball and bat connect it sounds pretty cool
7:50 Thats the most attendence I have ever seen!
Lol
🙌😂
its really sad now that Dan Uggla is batting .067 and is in the minors now
what happened to him
Braves dropped him for tommy Lastella who was playing better and batting better. Giants signed a contract with him bc Marco Scutaro was injured, we did't even get a hit with the ten games with them. Giants sent him down to the lowest in minors for now.
o
He said in a quote "we all have dark places in our lives and I can't get put of mine"

0:27 "mountain climbing" 😆 I'm impressed she made it up that mountain with the type of shoes she's wearing
Good video man, thanks for not adding shitty music to it!!!

Jessie Colt baseball aint a minigame bruh🤣
SUPER...Das finde ich verdammt geil diese super weiten Schläge die bis in die Tribüne gehen.?? Fantastisch
"Bat dismount" lol, just call it a bat flip man.
carlos gonzales has the best swing
Rafa Base59 Ever heard of Ken Griffey Jr???
Celebrity Waffle ikr
7:53 packed house for a miami game
I always loved Griffey’s bat flips when he hit his sweet spot. Very fluid motion.
Lmfao, "his coaches measured at 570 feet". Sounds like an objective opinion.
A lot of long home runs are hit in Arizona because the ball carries very well in the hot dry air
it's actually called the spring training stadium
commentator - he needs a home run to complete the cycle
Cargo - hold my beer
Jose Bautista is in another class with any of these guys.
Damn CarGo killed that ball! Now that's a sweet swing. Beltre's classic back-legger was killing me though hahaha
I’d like to see an updated version of this 2019
I know from experience hanging knuckleballs are the best to hit. Easy to identify, typically up in the zone, and slow. That's really the best pitch to hit IMO.
Things i learned from this video: His name is dan uggla
Are you saying you didn't know him before this video?
Love how every Marlins game it's easy to see the ball in the emptiest stands.
the greatest game ever invented
well said.
cricket is way better
the lamest game ever invented
DEXTER'S LAB cricket is crap
Yup
Nice runs
Reynolds used to hit absolute shots. Kind of reminds me of how far Stanton hits it now. He's one of those hitters who's average home run distance and speed off the bat was always very far and fast.
Cargo is a monster dude!!
great vid best HR vid on youtube
Dan Uggla is a legend. Absolute unit for a 2nd baseman
I dont even watch baseball but those are great touchdowns.
THESE HOME RUNS ARE NO JOKE
I like how the Pirate operation immediately walked off after the Fielder HR
LMAO hahahaha that little note on Reynolds is so true
Was this made with Windows Movie Maker or RUclips Video Editor?
I miss the old Rangers in 2010 and Josh Hamilton in his prime...
I hit a ball that went down the third base line, over the fence, crossed 6 lanes of traffic “by crosswalk of course” down the Westside Highway Through the Lincoln Tunnel “through the EZ Pass lane”, Onto 3West, then Over the River and Far Away!! I love Brandon Phillips man
Great video!
those are cool homers
Great vid...
I love this video
BUT still a really really cool video. I loved the end.
This is crazy!
5:54 That voice crack though
Best swing ever in baseball was Ken Griffey Jr. =)
Sea Hawks Bonds
Juan Hernandez
No, and even Bonds himself would say as such, it is widely known that Griffey has one of the best if not the best swing mechanics ever.
Hit better
you mean prettiest. best swing is tight between barry bonds and ted williams
Brandon Phillips is such a great guy, and it sucks that he couldn’t carry on his career with the Reds
Did you pick the background intentionally?
This vid is awsome 😃👌
oh yea my 4th grader hit a home run over the center field wall over the river and through th woods and broke grandmas front passenger side window of her 1959 buick skylark which she drove to florida. an a Home Run estimated at 1800 miles. Get the fuck outta here dude.
***** Nu uh. I can confirm his story, I am his grandma.
At Fenway park when the train track was still used a lot, a home run was hit into a moving train, this was a really really long time ago
+kev06073 Do you mean Minute Maid? There's no train at Fenway.
These home runs are casual in the mlb today
13:55 almost sounds like "look at that bitch go crazy"
***** Thought the same thing but he said "bench" instead of bitch
Lol lololollollolo
Yeah you're right but he said bencg
+Celebrity Waffle bench
i heard bench...
Nice
Your first like after 6 years lmao
Best sport ever
My favorite swings and stances (no specific order): Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Adrian Beltre, Tino Martinez, Frank Thomas, Mark Big Mac McGuire (spell check!), Edgar Martinez, Edgar Renteria (spell check), me, Yasiel Puig
McGwire with a W is the correct one.
Thanks, Grass Snake. I was actually going to check right now (2/5/15) for a project I'm working on and I saw that you replied to my comment.
Out of the park
What was that batter's name again ?
it's funny how Carlos hit the home run to the only cubs fan in the entire stadium.
isnt there an UPDATED version of this vid... so many bombs hit in 4 years since
SOOO COOL MAN
Wow, that old Marlins Stadium with the Dan Uggla home runs was so, so big, and so, so incredibly empty.
When I was in the second grade i hit a home run over the left field wall then it rolled on a golf cart path and ended up in a homeless persons shopping cart. We measured it at 1264 feet!
Bj upton doesn't have the best swing. Ken Griffey jr. did!
Will your right bj upton doesn't, his brother Justin.. The one in the video ranks high on the list of best swings in the mlb.. And I agree Griffey does have one of the best!
Adam LaRoche have the best swing
Griffey Jr. had a good swing, but I believe McGwire had a better swing.
wolfgang548
McGwire was I cheater. I am a life long Cardinals fan saying this. If it was natural power, I'd agree with you 100%, though.
naa...all of y'all are wrong...Cargo has the best swing
Kinda more like Best National League Home Runs lol
Something tells me the "And his name's Dan Uggle" has something to do with the John Cena meme (and yes I know the meme originated from a prank call)
Aloh
+The Engie That Cried Nope This video was uploaded in 2010, so doubtful.
What if Brandon Phillips hit Bernie Brewer on his slide lol.
HAAAAAA!!!!
Wow
2020 anyone? Guess RUclips took a decade to get this to my recommend lmao
if this video had beenmade this year, I wonder where that moonshot Billy Butler hit the pther day in Houston would end up in the video?
His name is Dan Uggla!!!!!!

But I think that the ball didn't hit the ground 570 feet away from home but it rolled
I agree with the justin
upton assertion
1:21 is that a slide?
i think you need to make a new one with that guy named Stanton..just a thought.
Josh Hamilton hit one 7/8 of the way up the upper deck😂😂😱😱
Lol, before it was coined the "Bat Flip" it was called the "Bat Dismount" 😂😂
I need to make an edit for this
most amaxing home runs
Nice collection, enjoyed every one, but...
What about some vids of Encarnacion's chicken wing? Where is the love? And J.P. Arencibia's first pitch in the majors, sent bye-bye into the stands in left field. Okay, what has he done lately, but it was still a thing of beauty.
I was at the Carlos Gonzalez walk-off cycle game... Loudest fucking stadium I've heard in my life after that bomb.
The hit from Evan longoria was loud as it hit the bat.
What about the Cubs player who hit one on top of the building across the street from the ballpark?
Glen Allen Hill, that was an amazing moon shot
Maybe Branyan would have had a longer career if he hadn't tried to hit every ball 500 feet.
At least Dan Uggla got to celebrate his birthday before COVID-19 ruined everything
thank you
I strikeout a few hundred times a season but I occasionally hit 700 foot home runs, no big deal
Anyone know the guys name in the Marlins clips?
3:12 It's a bat FLIP, not a bat DISMOUNT.
4:07 Steroids will do that for ya.
@5:00 an 87 mph knuckleball huh?
Nice MLG air horn
I love homers
Who doesn't?
right
Literally the next day after his most recent birthday, the world went dark
"AND HIS NAME IS DAN UUGLA!
AND HIS NAME IS DAN UUGLA!
AND HIS NAME IS-"
JOHN CENA!!!!!
Where have you gone Dan Uggla? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
"Why wouldn't he knew it, he hit it to another area code!"
Is this where the expression hit a home run comes from ?
COOOOOOOOOOOl
the green one
Cargo got Skilz! Walk off homer to top the cycle? Glad the Rox kept him! GoRox!
ahh, the days of the old dodger stadium, with the old scoreboards and the think blue sign. like if you agree
+Ari Ferrari I dislike
