Today I wanted to give some backstory/insight into why I made this channel, and why I'm pursuing pottery and attempting to master it in the next year. Thank you for watching!

I deeply relate to what you said in this video - I also feel like all of my friends and I are living in this uncertain, uncomfortable feeling of having no motivation and being kind of bored/having our energies sucked away by our jobs. its hard to find little joys like this, but i think you put it all into words very well. Congrats on your wheel and your pottery, best of luck.

I struggle with this on a daily basis. The fatigue from our jobs can seap into all aspects of our lives. That burnout can lead to a lack of motivation and anxiety. It's hard to combat, so it's important to show yourself grace. I hope that you and your friends can do something nice for yourselves. Thank you for being here and sharing 💕💐 I appreciate your vulnerability. Just know that I'm rooting for you!!!

That's so true, when you work a 9-5, you're just making your boss / employer rich, as an employee, we are just gears in the machine.. If the gear wears out, it get replaced with a new one. Best is to have multiple sources of stable income, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Your channel is growing at a rapid pace, you are talented, and there are so many ways to make an income form a RUclips channel. I hope your channel will go viral soon, you can focus on things you enjoy doing, and not trading your time for a paycheque 💯

I agree!! For a lot of people (young especially) having financial freedom is a huge motivator to explore other passive forms of income. For a lot of people however, that idea is completely out of reach.. sometimes you have to work a stable 9-5. But that doesn't mean you can't explore your interests and hobbies! My hope is that people can find things that they enjoy doing, and are passionate about, and then find a way to make that their life's work :)

@@missslip "that idea is completely out of reach" is just an excuse that people struggling financially use.. Within time, I noticed that being poor or rich is a personal choice.. The people that live a lavish lifestyle had the same opportunity as the bum that lives in tarp-wrapped box under the local freeway (maybe a bit exaggerated, but not far from reality lol), but it's definitely a choice.. Especially with the internet, making money is easier than ever.. Back then, in order to live comfortably, you would require solid connections with the wealthy, but not anymore. As crazy as it sounds, I'm very thankful I had the opportunity to be overworked and underpaid at my 9-5 jobs, as it allowed me to realize that there are better opportunities out there.

@@StreetsOfOntario Respectfully, I disagree. Often, people assume that just because "I" did it, that means "you" can do it too. Some people spend years of their lives working towards a goal, only to fail. Some people just get lucky. Some people are just trying to make it to tomorrow. I think it's ignorant to assume that everyone has equal opportunities.

@@missslip Well that depends, if you have access to the same resources and knowledge as someone else, what is actually stopping you from succeeding? Think of it as a job, if you got same training as your co-worker, is there anything they lack in comparison to you, in order to do the same work? Yes, trail and error is definitely real, and luck is definitely a factor, but in today's days, opportunity is there for anyone that can see potential. Think of a computer.. One may use it to spend endless hours scrolling aimlessly through videos on TikTok, while someone else may use a computer to start an online business, build assets, and so on. Mindset is everything, both of those users have access to the same tools, they just choose to use them in very different ways.
